My car repaired here over 6 months ago. I took the car back in cuz I was having issues and they said it was in something entirely different. They wanted to charge me $200 some dollars for a lower control arm. I took it to a specialist for front end and he tells me there's nothing wrong with that lower control arm but rather a tie rod. But your tire replaced the tie rod 6 months earlier. So apparently they want me to replace something that doesn't need fixed just to recoup the money they should have fixed in the first place. I'm not sure if I would take your car to Budget tire for any repairs other than tires. read more

DO NOT GO if you care about your vehicle. I picked up my truck yesterday with 3 gouges in my rim from them struggling with the removal of my valve stem cover. They clearly gave no effort in protecting my rim during this struggle. When confronted they responded by saying 'it's going to happen' and offered to order a 'paint pen'. No paint pen is going to cover up these GOUGES!! Absolutely blows my mind how careless they were, and how much they don't care about the quality of there own work, or your vehicle. They did about one hour worth of work and charged me $700 labor and could not align my car because their alignment rack was too high. Double and triple billed me for the same work. She went in alone and while she was there she was sexually harassed by 2 of the employees. 1 of them made a comment about her butt to another employee after walking behind her while she was paying. I brought my car in for two small jobs. The first job which they finished was to install a new TPMS sensor which I provided for them. The second job was for them to install a pair of sway bar bushings on the front sway bar on my car which they could not do after having my car for two whole days. If this is the case maybe they should just stick to selling tires only. read more

Went for tire alignment, and to have some tires balanced and bolted on. I tried to make an appointment early in the morning, but was told," NO appointments, first come, first serve." I got there at 1pm, and got on the list. I waited and waited 2.5 Hours. That's when i was told that they would not be able to work on my vehicle. I was simply told," we can't do the work today." the store General Manager did not even care that they had wasted my last 2.5 hours for nothing. I didn't even get an apology. Nothing. Why did they not know 2.5 hours earlier that they would not be able to work on my vehicle? Why did they not even tell me that maybe they might not be able to work on my vehicle? Nope, they put my name on their list and wasted my day for nothing. The store GM doesn't care at all about wasting my day, and most likely will not care about wasting yours either. Good prices. Misleading ads online, sometimes. Read the fine print. On the install, they rounded half the lugnuts and broke one off entirely and wanted an extra $30 to fix the stud they broke off. But then when I went back to have the tires rotated they replaced the broken stud, and threw in brand new lugnuts. No charge. Overall, average but better than most of the other places around Jackson. read more

Budget tire has the best deals on tires around hands down. They have fast, speedy service and they do a great job. They will not try to upsell you on anything and they have everything from Low end foreign made tires to high-end American-made tires. I personally don't mind spending extra money for good American-made tires. They have great deals on the tires and offer good warranty plants. They do free rotations and they will check everything out for you really well. The people are very friendly and knowledgeable and this is the only place I will buy tires at around here read more

Worst service I've ever had. Bought a tire for my motorcycle that was three years old. Went to get my money back and after they charged me restocking shipping and handling I was going to get less then half my money back. After along discussion on why I shouldn't have to pay the fees as they sold me an old tire, the manager said he would refund the full amount. That was two months ago and I still have received a refund. When I called him back on it he said he would call me back and never did. Buyer beware! Let me start my review by telling you that I am a certified master automotive technician with 15 years of experience. I recently purchased a 2006 F250, I replaced some loose/worn front end parts and installed new tires on the vehicle. For my own convenience, I dropped the truck off at Budget Tire on Lansing Ave in Jackson to have the tires balanced and have the front end aligned. Upon inspection, they told me that the truck required new ball joints before they could align the front end. I explained to them that there was nothing wrong with the front end and they insisted I needed to replace the ball joints. Long story short, I picked up the truck, drove it right to Belle Tire, they inspected it, aligned it, and even gave me a print out showing everything was in spec. So, take it from someone who has the experience and qualifications to verify what they said was a complete lie. Get a second opinion if they attempt to sell you anything, these guys are either inexperienced, or they are just crooks out to steel your money. read more
