Will not be returning. My husband goes to this location often but recently I have been going because he had surgery and is not able to drive. Today he placed a pick up order in my name. He was in the car (Achilles surgery) and I went in and grabbed $40 bucks out of the atm as that's the cost of his usual orders. The associate, for context, said it was her second day. She took my ID, grabbed the order and when she went to ring it up she said your total is $39, at this point when she gave me a total and handed her 2 twenties I put two bucks in the tip jar as I usually do. She then said "something was missing" she proceeded to go to the other side of the store and grab some edibles. Mind you I don't know exactly what my husband ordered and the green can she grabbed looked familiar. She came back and scanned it mind you she did not pull anything else out of the pre packaged store pick up bag, not a receipt or other items. She then proceeded to tell me the new total was $55 dollars. I assumed the item was legit missing and my husband had ordered extra and tell me the new total. I got irritated because I had to go back and get another $20 out and do another transaction fee at the atm. I go back and pay and walk out. I go to the car and tell my husband that I wish he would have told me the actual total so I didn't have to get money out twice he said I didn't get extra the total was $39.00 proceeds to pull out the pick up order paper and something in his bag he didn't order. I go back in and say hey we didn't order this and I got charged for it, clearly the new associate did not double check the order and I want my cash back. A very rude manager came over and said I could only get money on a gift card I said I was charged for your mistake and I can't get my money back? She said she could not void the transaction because there are laws about drugs and I said well it's funny you care so much about drugs cause y'all literally gave me the wrong drugs and there are legal ramifications with that too I am sure, I also am sure there are legal policies about checking orders. Anyways, she kept refusing and saying you paid and didn't double check the bag and you walked to the car (the bag isn't handed to the customer until after they pay so what she said means nothing, there were no clues before handing over to me that said the order was wrong or else I would have said something) I finally had to ask to speak to someone higher up than that manager and she said well I can take your phone number and he may give you a call when he gets around to it. My husband then hobbled out of the car in pain and because he was in pain just said we will exchange for a different flavor we don't have time for this (even though not our fault) manager took no accountability for the wrong doing of the store and said I'm not blaming and actually well I am helping by offering an exchange. Which actually isn't helpful. I left wishing the new associate well and told her my hopes for her is that she gets the training she needs to be successful and not a manager that just blames mistakes on customers, so the same thing doesn't happen to that poor new associate again. I live a stones throw from this place and will not be doing business here anymore. I am sorry I gave a tip before noticing the wrong doing, I actually hope the new associate gets the tip and not the sorry excuse of a manager. I would rather drive somewhere else and spend my money at a place that doesn't blame customers for the store's mistakes. read more
