The transaction was very smooth and easy and the bouquets were delivered Monday. I have gotten pictures from the recepients and am as pleased as the people who received the bouquets. Grandson in law bought our favorite granddaughter flowers from here for Valentines Day this year. $100 got her 2 wilting roses plus some filler flowers and some fake greenery. Oh and they misspelled her name on the card. Maybe if Buds and Blossoms Too can't do an adequate job filling their orders, they shouldn't accept the business. My recommendation would be to go through a different florist. Or go to Safeway, Winco or Fred Meyer. If you do that you can at least see the quality of what you're purchasing. read more

I really do not recommend Buds and Blossoms Too. I bought my mother a large bouquet for Mother's Day. It cost 97.97 dollars. I had the bouquet delivered to my mother at her business. Once she received them she told me that most of them were terrible quality (dying and wilting). Not only that, but for almost 100 dollars I expected a much larger bouquet! ordered $100 flowers arrangement for 80th bday. Through 1800flowers. Both parties are an embarrassing joke. Arlenes decided they didn't have the flowers we requested so they merely did nothing. the following day they notified 1800flowers. Not me. 1800 flowers did not notify me. So when i called to see how my sister liked the flowers she didn't get any. 2+hrs later i gave up. Arlenes doesn't answer the phone after 10 tries. What a lousy company. Absolutely do NOT recommend this company. My parents ordered flowers online from fromyouflowers.com and the order was sent to this shop. The order was delivered on time, but looked nothing like the photo. The flowers ordered were supposed to be blue & white and there wasn't a single blue bud in the flowers delivered. I called the shop and they did offer to fix the flowers - but they took zero responsibility for the issue and continued to blame fromyouflowers trying to say they have no affiliation with them. If a company is sending you orders, you're affiliated. Take responsibility. This should have been a warning sign, but they added some blue so we decided to give them another chance... We spent $100 on another bouquet plus delivery and confirmed the delivery time and location. We arrived at the funeral home and the flowers were not there. I called the shop and they said they would leave immediately to deliver them.... the shop is 15 minutes from the funeral home but it took them an hour to arrive which leads me to believe they just threw something together as soon as I called. Meanwhile, the viewing was half over and all we got was more excuses.... and no offer of a partial refund until I asked. They promised they would refund the delivery fee that day, but days went by and still no refund. We had to call AGAIN to demand a refund before they finally honored their word. Ok, it's my fault for not knowing much about flowers, and waiting till the last minute to get flowers for a special someone. As I was calling around, this place was open for another 10 min (it was almost 5pm). She said if I could get there quick, they could hook me up. So, I was on my way. Didn't want to get roses. Wanted something with more color. The lady here asked me to pick out what I wanted in the freezer. I didn't know what I was doing. So, grabbed here, and grabbed there. And after a while I had a bundle. Had no idea how much it would cost. Shouldn't be too much--I mean, they're not roses! As she made my bouquet look nice, I walked back into the freezer to chill. As she was ringing me up, I got the sticker shock: $28. Dang! This bouquet wasn't a masterpiece, but I don't get the price. I would say it wasn't as cool as a Pike's Market Bouquet in Seattle (you can get some killer ones there for $5-10!). Oh well, it's a small business. I don't mind supporting them--ONCE! Oh well. I'd give them maybe 2.5stars, but that's it. She did stay open for me. Their refrigerator room was awesome on a 100degF day. And they had a big white Samoyed dog in their. My husband ordered me flowers for our 15th anniversary. I received my bouquet and the roses were wilted. I called with my complaint. The lady I spoke to made it seem like it wasn't a big deal because there was only 3 roses in my bouquet but there was 10 which I relayed to her. So they explained to me that they could make me a new bouquet and asked If I could come and get them. I said no and live way out in Burbank. She seemed irritated by that. But she called later and said she could bring new flowers. Great! But when they bought the new flowers they were not as full, they looked skimpy. I only had two choices and they both were not nice Also the man that delivered them the second time seemed annoyed also. Very unpleasant people. So I kept the skimpy flowers. I paid $63 total for delivery and tax for a $45 arrangement (deluxe) and got a couple stems of Alstroemeria and some greens. Definitely not worth $45. I wrote a complaint and never heard a peep. I am a lover of fresh flowers. For Valentine's Day, my husband wanted to surprise me with a nice flower arrangement. The flowers were delivered on Valentine's Day as promised and the driver, who called me a couple of times, was very nice and accommodating. Now enter the actual flower arrangement...keep in mind, they were a gift and I would never have told him they were not nice. However, my husband was so disappointed at what arrived (at the price point of $92) that I felt terrible for him! It was just not in any way worth $92. Both my friend and I thought he had paid around $25-30. So he called the store and was essentially told that they used some exotic flowers (it all looked pretty domestic to me) and that his option was to return to the store and put something together himself. Huh? I love the idea of supporting local businesses, so long as they are businesses with products worth supporting! The local Richland Farmers market has beautiful bouquets for $12, and when we're lucky enough to get up to Seattle and Pike Place Market we always come back with a fresh bunch for $15, busting at the seams with beauty! This little arrangement from Buds N Blossoms was definitely on the sad side of the flower scale. read more

For Valentine's day, I wanted to surprise my wife with a nice flower arrangement. So I looked on Yelp and read the reviews. I read a review from Corey and thought that maybe it was just one person with a bad review and the other reviews were excellent. Therefore, I decided to proceed with the order. They asked me how much I was willing to spend for the arrangement. I told them I did not care as long as they made it look nice. They recommended that I spend $75. So I agreed. When they charged my card it came out to $92.31 including tax and delivery. The flowers delivered today were a paltry arrangement for what I paid. I called the florist to find out if they got the order incorrect. Paying $92, you think this should allow for a nice arrangement. The flowers arrangement was small and looks shoddily put together. I know it was Valentine's day so they must have rushed to put something together. When I called, they put me on hold for a long period of time. Then they tell me that I got what I paid for. They were telling me that majority of the cost came from the vase they used. I really do not care for the vase anyways. Most of the time, the vase goes into storage or given to Goodwill. The second reason for the poor arrangement is that they use exotic flowers and the flowers are from foreign countries. I just wanted a nice arrangement of flowers. My wife loves flowers and they provided something second rate for a premium price. When I spoke with the manager, he told me that I can bring the flowers back to the store myself and I can make another arrangement. He would not send a second arrangement and pick up the flowers since he told me whatever he would send "will not make me happy". Nice customer service. read more

My son died a year ago and for the flower celebration of life at the river my mother ordered an expensive bouquet and not only did I not get the one she ordered, I got a nearly dead bouquet and the vase was a value of $8.00. I cried and ended up going to the market and buying a different bouquet. She was very upset and the cost was doubled when we had to buy a second bouquet. The bouquet looked like someone had just grabbed up a small handful of random flowers and shoved them in the vase. Some of the fillers looked like they had been pulled from a weed patch. There was no artistry at all. To use the word arrangement would be a misnomer, as there was no arranging done at all. I'm glad I got this bouquet, though. "True Cost of a Floral Stand" We came in on a Friday to rent six wire tripod floral stands in order to display floral wreaths from our families and relatives for my grandmother's funeral service. It was due to a misunderstanding that the stands were not available at the event center (the grocer florist where the flowers originated did not have any available to lend us). At this store, we explained the situation to a staff person (who we later learned was also the owner). She brought out 6 stands for us, and we appreciated the fact that this business was able to provide us stands so we can display the memorial wreaths. We told the staff we can return the stands the next day after the service, but due to the store's closing time and the burial service, we were unable to work out a time to return the stands the following afternoon before 3pm. The store would be closed for rest of the weekend. The person who was behind the register told us it was be okay to return them on Monday. In our haste to get the stands to the funeral location, I glanced at the receipt to find a charge of over $120 for the rental. I recalled feeling dismayed and surprised, and I don't even know why I didn't inquire further. Why didn't I speak up; perhaps it was the stress hormones clouding my logical brain, maybe I had reasoned that the charge included a deposit fee refundable upon return, maybe I thought that these stands must be very costly to purchase. I remembered feeling unsettled that the the owner didn't say anything to us as we rushed out. The next two days that followed were about honoring my grandmother and being with my family. So, I decided to look into this later and talk with the owner later when we returned the items. The funeral staff were the ones who referred us to this local florist, and they have years of experience with such matters. They were very surprised by the amount we were charged. I learned that florists included these stands with their arrangements, and stands are often left behind after services; furthermore, it was common practice to re-sell these stands back to florists for a few dollars. Doing some research, I also learned that the general wholesale price was a fraction of the rental cost. On that Monday, I approached the store staff and questioned the transaction. She then explained how the owner had charged $5/day per stand x 6 stands x 4 days plus tax. Now here's what troubled me: why didn't the owner tell us that she was going to charge us 2 additional days because the store was going to be closed? When she carefully said that it would be okay to to bring it back Monday, she should have told us that she would be charging us $30 plus tax per day for us to keep it in our car. Why didn't she offer to sell the stands to us or tell us that we might as well go buy the stands and keep them for what she would be billing? It didn't seem fair, and I shared my feelings with the staff (the owner was not in at the time) in light of this information. I felt that their behavior and lack of honest communication that day in response to my grief and rashness was not good business practice. I even relayed the information I learned from the event center staff, as well as my own product research. The staff directed me to talk to the owner herself who had handled the original transaction. Just as we were about to board our plane to return home that afternoon after the funeral weekend was over, the store owner called me, and we had a very upsetting conversation without a resolution. I was frazzled by the owner's verbal attacks that I had offended her employee. She remained defensive and refused to explain to me why she had not been more transparent and honest that day; she also refused to tell me the unit cost to purchase one of the stands that we had rented. Neither one of us was in a state to have a productive conversation, and it ended on poor terms. To the staff who tried to help me that Monday, who also to told me that life is too short to let an unhappy event consume me, I thank her again for this wisdom and have written her a letter of apology for upsetting her that day. I really struggled writing this yelp, because I didn't how best to write it. My intention in sharing this experience is to remind myself and others to be mindful of situations like this one, where sometimes it is what is not said that hurts us. My actions are my own. I'm not seeking compensation. I realize that I failed to seek to understand the choices that were available to me then, and I know that I accepted that rental transaction. I do not know or understand the true costs of running a floral business, but I feel and I hope that no matter what state we are in, we should try our best to be honest, be kind, and be open with one another in our business communication. read more

Fast forward to 2:00p.m. Saturday, still no flowers - I left a voicemail to contact me. Still no return phone call. Attempted to deliver flowers at 6:00p.m. on Sunday night (Mom wasn't home). Left a door hanger saying flowers could be picked up on Monday. Then why did I pay a $10 delivery charge??? Someone was there to receive the flowers ON FRIDAY!!! She was away from the house at the time the delivery person arrived. Instead of finding the arrangement at the door, she found a note saying since she was not home to receive the flowers, she would have to drive to the shop to get them. In as much as my order had my wife's phone number as well as mine, it would seem that the delivery person would have called one of us. Went in the day after Mother's Day for a little bouquet for my Grandmother. Granted I don't look like I belong in a Florist Shop with the beard and the biker tshirt. The lady working that day pointed me to the walk-in cooler. I saw a really nice medium/small sized arrangement that'd be perfect and checked for a price. $179.99. Checked again. Still 179.99. Ok, nope. Looked around for a bouquet and chose something small/medium but colorful out of a group of bouqets priced $29.99. Something that might be $15 bucks tops down the street. OK. I didn't know any better. Brought it out and asked "This one is $30 right?" The lady working said "Mmmm. That one's $35. The 'bigger ones' are $35" I said "OK but I got it out of the bucket that said $29.99" She said "It's 35." "I said OK then." Paid 38 dollars out the door. Is that high? Seemed like it. This is the second time I have ordered through Telefloral and was disappointed on the flower shop they used. Apparently there is no monitoring or vetting. This florist has terrible reviews. But the customer has no way to see who the florist is. I will no longer be using them. I was in the flower business and there is no reason to use a shop with bad reviews. I ordered an arrangement for Mother's Day for my Aunt. I'm in California and ordered through 1-800-Flowers. The cost of the arrangement was $60 before tax. There was an additional service fee of around $30 plus I paid an extra $7 for delivery on Sunday. The only thing Buds And Blossoms Too got right was the delivery. The bottom picture below is what I ordered. Notice the soft pastel colors and the glass mosaic vase. In the description it says the mosaic vase can be used as a candle holder after the flowers are gone and there is a tea light candle included. The top picture is what Buds And Blossoms Too delivered. The flowers are not at all complimentary of each other. The colors are completely off. It has red roses in it. What is this, Valentines Day?! It's haphazardly thrown together, the vase looks like it's ceramic and I guess it's ok'ish but it's not what I ordered. It's no secret that Florists don't like doing business with 1-800-Flowers because of varying reasons however, if you choose to continue to do so, deliver what people order. You're only hurting your own reputation by cutting corners and doing the arrangements on the cheap. The markup on flowers is ridiculous anyway. You're obviously still profiting from doing business with 1-800-Flowers, or you wouldn't be contracted with them anymore. Deliver what people order! I could have found a better bouquet at the grocery store for 1/5 of the price. You should be embarrassed to let this crap walk out your door. read more
