When I walked in the owner was the only person at the front desk. She didn't greet me or any of the customers that walked in after me. She was rude and reluctant to assist. It was as if it pained her to help a customer or ask what they were there for or what she could help with. She looked back at her other employees who were busy working. She then said ok I guess I'll help you. What do you need? I told her what I was there for then she asked me to go to the back room to have someone else help me. Really? Why ask what I need if you're going to push me off to someone else. Why not just ask an employee up front I help me. Anyway, not a way to welcome your customers. She needs some Malone help in the customer service area. And they don't carry a wide selection of embroidery options. I was looking for my initials with rounded sides and was told they couldn't do it. I won't be due to the owners horrible attitude and lack of service. read more

The lady who works at the front (who I think is the owner): 1. Did not bother wearing a mask the past three times I've been by (it is currently mandatory to wear a face covering in TX). 2. She gives the absolute worst customer service. Every-time I have come by, not only is she not wearing a face covering, but she's always sitting out back or out front smoking cigarettes and talking to people on speaker phone. She doesn't even bother to get off of the phone when a customer comes by. Last time I came by she was smoking/on speaker phone - she finally notices me and walks to the counter, while still on the phone, does not greet me, and makes me wait until she finishes her phone call. I am the only customer in the store yet she RUSHES me to make my selection. I was trying to get my jacket embroidered and she didn't show me which fonts they have, nor what colors they had. I just went to pick up my jacket and I hate the font and if I had been given more time to make my selection I would have selected a different color of thread. 3. Because of COVID their hours are M-F 9am-2pm. She tells everyone their order will be done at noon... which gives you 2 hours to pick up your order. If your order is done on a Friday you literally have 2 hours to pick up your order or you have to wait the entire weekend. Summary: Horrible customer service, rushed service (not in a good way), no regard for public health (doesn't wear a mask). read more

They embroidered my wife's lab coats and jacket, they messed up the colors and they said they could not do anything because it was going to damage the clothes, and they just said "Sorry we will do it right next time". I could not do anything because it was already paid and even when they accepted their error they did not do anything to make it up. I don't recommend the place, search somewhere else. read more

We order all of our employee uniforms for Arctic Ape with them and no matter how crazy the item we ask for is they have never said no or we can't do that. I recently had 7 Christmas stockings embroidered at this business. My spouse, who began this process, had left one name off the list. The company was immediate on calling him back to get the seventh name. Immediate as in he was still in the parking lot. At this point, I appreciated the customer service. When I went to pick up the finished products, I noticed the stocking that was the "seventh" name was significantly different from the others. I questioned, who I assume was the owner, about the difference. She mentioned how one name was left off the list and how they were unable to match it to the others when they did the embroidery. I was confused due to the fact that they had caught my spouse's mistake right away. Yes it was our fault for not including the name initially. The name was significantly smaller than the others and done to the far left and not centered as the others. I asked if there was any way to fix the stocking to match the others and I received a simple no. Nothing was done to help fix the issue, or offer any words other than "no." This is the whole story so please note I did include our part in this. This was a costly mistake though because I will be trying another company who will make an attempt to fix the stocking. If it is unfixable, that will be a cost of seven new stockings and the new embroidery. If you have items of value, please consider this when choosing this company. I will not use this company for any future projects and would not recommend to others. read more

National Embroiders is by far the best place to go for all of your embroidery needs! They have done numerous jobs for my fiancé and I and they have come out perfectly every time. We have done jackets, shirts and hats and don't have a single complaint. Frank even took the time to show us several different thread colors and helped us design the perfect color combinations for our business logos. Frank goes above and beyond to make you feel like a valued customer. He truly listens and is very detail oriented. Tim and Lewis are rock stars! The owner Zena Rafati provided the WORST customer service ever. I was completely unhappy with the product and service received. She stated they could not remove the thread because of the fabric and it would make holes...I dropped 5 shirts off and was contacted that one of the new shirts had a stain. I asked them not to do the shirt and was told I could get a refund when I picked up my order. When I went to pickup, Zena stated they do not provide refunds and pointed to the silly sign that states No cash refunds. She would not budge on crediting my card. I had to take a store credit which forces me to use her HORRIBLE services again. Zena was so argumentative and insistent that we had discussed in length the colors for the threads that I finally just told her she was right. I could not believe how unprofessional she was and condescending in general.. By far this is the worst service I've ever received from someone. She doesn't care because she already has your money since they force you to prepay when you drop off. Lastly, most businesses in San Antonio offer some sort of military discount or special rate. NOT this place. This store not only does NOT offer a military discount, they also wont refund or fix your order if its wrong. TERRIBLE. read more
