I like the service that you get and the convenient pickup area after shopping. Prices are a little high though.

Enjoy Buehlers, as they have a lot of specialty items and variety of products that other grocers do not have. My favorite is their Huckleberry taffy. My kids bought 7 lbs of this taffy. We were also able to get one of 3 brisket available in the county for Thanksgiving here. The employees are owners of the stores, which seems to improve the employees morale and care for the customers. They cater, have ready made meals and a bit of everything for all. read more

This chain has always been high priced but at least the shelves were stocked. Not anymore! Now, it's reminiscent of a store in Soviet Russia. For weeks, the fresh chicken section has been almost empty. The bread isle has become a joke, with things like bagels being MIA. Considering that this is prime season for local produce, I was shocked today to discover that the store was out of fresh corn and tomatoes. Being a diabetic, I count on rice cakes as my only snack food. Those haven't been around for over a month. As you wander from isle to isle, you see vast areas to be barren. The chain has always had a system for sending your purchase out to a pickup point, where they are loaded in your car. Sadly, that service has been curtailed meaning that for older shoppers to take advantage of their special shopping time, they also must drag their purchase out to their car. That basically defeats the purpose of a special shopping time. So, forget about shopping for what you want. If you shop at this store, you're stuck only buying what they bothered to stock. Basically, it's like shopping at a store in a third world nation. Time for me to shop elsewhere. read more

Good store.... has most of what you may want. I have read review about being forced to sign up for advantage card.... (gives you points and member discounts like anywhere else...) I have been coming here since the store opened. NEVER was I forced to sign up for the card.... or "led like a child" to do so! Love the pick up your groceries drive up. They ask you if you want to carry it out yourself or have it sent out... so I'm sure the reviewer that was complaining about the cart not allowed outside did not understand the reason. If they only had juice and whatever else... they would not have needed to take the cart out! As well as I like not having to have my vehicle banged up by loose carts!! Your groceries are loaded up for you under a covered drive thru which is great when it is raining or really cold! Great place all in all! read more

My parents like to eat at Buehler's, and it seems like a lot of other people do too. I've had some decent meals here, although like many places they can't poach eggs. Basted it is. If you like a buffet, the breakfast bar seems ok. I generally stick with breakfast (served any time) off the menu, but Ive had some decent salads too. Kids eat free on Mondays. Oh right, there's also a grocery store here! I don't have much of an opinion on it. Over the years I haven't had anything esp impressive from the deli or bakery, but it's all fine. They don't sell a lot of the items I would like to see, but for Stark County I guess it is ok. read more

I online shopped here because I was ill. The options for food were well organized and the web site was easy to use. The substutions were also excellent. Emma called me to tell me that some of my selections were unavailable and asked about other choices. I also added on another item that I'd forgotten. She was very sweet. When I arrived at the store, Lexi brought out our food and loaded it up. She was pleasant, polite, and efficient. I think we were there less than five minutes. Once we got home, we found that everything was there and bagged appropriately. We got a thank you card on our order, too. Super impressed. The week before I did online shopping with a different chain. A "fresh" place. At least five items from my order were missing, no one called me, and I waited 20 minutes to get my food when I arrived: I had to call a second time to make sure they hadn't forgotten me. Awful. I left a review earlier sorry but there's more. We ordered the turkey dinner with a side of ham. When We unpacked it was determined that there wasn't any turkey so I had to go back and pick up the turkey and my description of the turkey was it looked sick appears to have been cooked in a bag with some or no seasoning. Buehler's is more than a grocery story its a culinary experience. It is to food what Bloomingdales is to clothes - a wide upscale variety and an equivalent price. You don't go to Buehlers looking for a bargain. You go looking to try something new, a hard to find ingredient or go wine tasting. While they also carry your general grocery staples you're going to pay more. Today I sampled a fruit pizza, holiday ham and stuffing, a chocolate truffle, cranberry cheddar cheese and tiramisu. Oh yea, a happy day at the market. I saw lobster, jumbo shrimp, pate, fresh strawberries (in Nov), and really great produce that goes beyond just the basics. I think I counted over 10 varieties of apples. I was looking for Scharffenberger chocolate for some holiday baking. I was surprised they didn't have any, although they do have broken up pieces of ambrosia. But Buehlers has more than food there is a hardware store, coffee shop, shoe repair, post office, cleaners, florist, etc. I also saw that most employees were dressed pretty nice for a grocery store (no jeans that I saw). I wonder if they have a dress code. Everyone was friendly and polite. Service was amazing. I also heard they have a food and wine sampling dinner a few times a year for about $20. Other than not having the chocolate I was looking for I didn't enjoy the prepared chinese food. Chicken and rice were dry and a bit tough. These are the two reasons I knocked off a star. The other reasons make it worth returning for specialty foods. read more

Need to watch for expired products on the shelfs! Bought some bob Evans potatos on the 4th tried to cook them up today and immediately as soon as I opened the bag I knew they were bad! They expired on June 18th 22 eeww! Not the first time I have run into this issue here! Lesson learned! Specially with as high priced as there food items are pay attention to dates! read more

Shelly in the seafood department gave outstanding service this evening. I was seeking crab meat stuffed mushrooms for our Christmas dinner but there was no inventory; she offered to personally make some. After she had prepped the mushrooms she discovered that the crab meat had been put away for the day so was partially frozen. She then offered to furnish the crab meat separately, she provided way more crab meat than would be needed, and then the surprise was that she chose to invoice only for the mushrooms. My daughter and I stopped there for the first time on the way home from the doctors office to get liquids. We simply wanted to get our stuff and go. The store was more worried about us getting a card than our well-being. I was walked to the service counter like a child. I was trying to not make anyone else sick. I realize Wadsworth is not really a rural community, but I did not expect such a well stocked grocery store at this location. I was in town for a couple of days and was able to stock my hotel refrigerator with some excellent deli items, great fruit and cheeses. If I lived here, I would certainly do all of my grocery shopping at this store. read more

Thinking at working at Buehler's? DON'T DO IT!! Management & some of their employees are very inconsiderate & will treat you like a slave if you let them! Of course your manager will tell you how phenomenal you are when you tell them how ticked you are about working alone on a Saturday night! (Nice try-that did not make me feel any better about the situation) There was supposed to be someone there from 11-7 but had to come in early because someone else called off - how is that my problem?(management fail #1) I was so busy I didn't really have time to stock anything except a few big sellers. So I left a note for the Sunday morning opener explaining why the store wasn't stocked right. So I get there at 1p & the cashier isn't normally in my department so she didn't know what needed to be stocked (management fail #2) Luckily business died a few hours before closing so I could get some product on the floor so the Monday opener didn't have a huge mess to deal with. So I go into work on Tuesday February 1st - super super busy!! For every 1 person that left 3 more came in - I expected that. The 2 cashiers (& you know who you are) told me how busy they were earlier & took off as soon as I stepped behind the counter. So I am now back there by myself - AGAIN Now I want to reiterate that I had already told the boss how hot I was about getting stuck by myself last Saturday night (management fail #3) I was soooo busy I didn't notice that the other 2 cashiers had not stocked ANYTHING before they left When there was a lull in the storm I ran to the back to get a cart & try to stock the big sellers. Guess what? All the carts are full so i had to physically carry any inventory to the floor. (management fail #4) Naturally the 1 register is not cooperating so I call service desk - they'll send someone back when they can so here comes this snotty little girl to do whatever to make it work. Not 15 minutes later an item was on sale & the register didn't ring the correct price. Called the service desk explained the situation 2X. Called back & told them to get someone back here NOW & I've got a line!! (management fail #5) So here comes the same little miss snot nose, told her I was taking a break-hurry up I have other things to do-ok whatever. While I was running to take a 5 minute break I called my husband told him what was happening ..... so I went back in & told miss snotty I quit! Get someone else back here because I'm done with this circus!! It took the manager a couple of minutes to get back there & of course there's a long line. So with my coat on I'm ringing out the customers because it's not their fault management is a failure! That's the only time I ever walked out of a job & I didn't feel good about it either & still don't. But management KNOWS they need a full staff during the extremely busy days but they don't do it because they don't care! I usually only buy flowers here and use their USPS services, which is super convenient. I used to buy food here but I think it's one of Canton's more expensive grocery stores. They usually have really fresh produce though and more options than other places like Giant Eagle. The flowers near the pharmacy are a bit pricey but they're always very pretty and the pick and chose is great for making a bouquet. The staff are usually really friendly too! read more

FINALLY! A nice grocery store in the Canton area. This is as close to a Whole Foods as Canton can get. I'm so tired of going to Acme (where the produce department is pathetic) and Fishers (which seems tired) and going to Giant Eagle at the strip is a 5-star hassle. The produce department at Buehler's is fantastic. They carry all types of hot peppers (jalapeno, Anaheim, and other exotic ones). The store is incredibly well-organized and clean. They have an awesome ethnic foods section, too. I love the overall design aesthetic of the store. Tip: They don't let you take a grocery cart outside the store. They say this cuts down on having to collect carts in the parking lot and it prevents damage to customers' cars. Instead, they offer grocery pickup if you drive around to the front of the store. Someone will load your groceries into your car. Bravo! read more

Usually good bakery decorated cakes. We have been going here for years. . Had a bad experience recently with an ordered cake. Decorated poorly and very expensive. I could have done better myself. I will consider using another bakery next time I need a decorated cake. read more

I tend to frequent this grocery store mainly for its location, but its probably right up there with the better ones in stark county. I think the biggest drawback is the prices. They are generally pretty steep, with some exceptions. They have a great wine and beer selection - they even have a kiosk with wine and beer tastings and pairings. I would stay away from the "pick a six" mix and match beer - it tends to be the older beer that is no longer that fresh. They have an ace hardware inside, which is very helpful to not even have to leave the building to do your basic hardware shopping. They do not allow shopping carts in the parking lot, so you can chose to carry your groceries or they offer to "send out" your items and someone will load them into your car for you. It takes some getting used to, but its actually really nice not to have all these carts in the parking lot. One of the things i love about this location as well is the restaurant they have as well. Now, the food isn't that great here unless you get some basic breakfast items (I won't go into much detail), but they have a all you can eat soup and salad bar for $9 and it is really nice. The tomato soup they make is quite good and they have a good sized salad bar with many different options to chose from. Its also a really good location to bring your kids you - one of my top places in town. If you can bargain shop here, then its a top place to go to get groceries. If you start grabbing stuff off the shelves you can see a pretty high bill at the end. One big suggestion I have is this: find the meat area and look for the 5 for $19.95 deals. The often have meats that are marked for $10-$11 per package that you effectively get for $4 each! I often stock up on my meats when I see some of these deals. read more

Buehler's is a very nice & clean grocery store, but it is a little expensive on certain items. The produce selection is one of the better ones for a grocery store. The one thing i like is the pick 5 for $19.95 meat deals, good to stock up on meats or for large families. If you need some hardware they have an Ace hardware store inside so that's convenient. I love their bakery, good selection of baked goods & the cakes & donuts are yummy! A good thing in rainy or icy weather is you don't have to take the shopping cart to your car & load it, just drive over to the area & they load the groceries in your trunk for you. read more

What a great store! Clean and fresh! I wish I had a store like this in Michigan! Great fresh salad bar. 5 meats for $20. Beautiful store. Plus the we used the community room for free. Full service restaurant, cleaners, shoe repair, coffee shop, hardware store, and great ready to go meals to take home at reasonable prices! Nice grocery store. Has a good produce section. Workers are friendly. Negatives are the prices are a good 10% to 15% higher than any other grocery store and their weekly specials are a JOKE (10¢ off something that costs $3.00). If you are on a budget, this is NOT the store for you. However, if you don't care about cost or just need one or two things and don't want to drive to Giant Eagle, ACME or Aldi's, it's perfect. Still do main shopping at other stores, but stop in Buehlers about twice a week to pick up items that I need before the weekend. Have tried their prepared food and it's not very good. Buehlers in Jackson is right on par with some of the nicer Market District stores. Salad bar for fine in or take out, sandwiches made to order and also on the grab n go shelves. Shop includes a good sized relit counter with Boars Head deli meats as well as a nice selection of organic / health foods. The nice selection of wine and floral and small gift area make for an fast date night, grab a gift. And if you need hardware items they have that too! The best thing the conveyor belt grocery bag pickup station, especially in the rain. read more

Next time you are shopping here and you are thinking about getting something from their 'chinese' wok like Sesame Chicken, don't. Save your money and go chew on an old tire. You'll get almost the same experience for free. Their rotisserie chicken is a much better choice. Overall it's a decent enough (albeit pricey) store.
