The light, refreshing cucumber and cilantro...it is the King of All Sandwiches. However, you are six cities away from your favorite Bahn Mi shop...what do you do? Jump on an app to tell you what's around and start your Choose Your Own Adventure story...that's what. And I found the mother load of adventure here. It's hidden in the corner by a huge stage. It's bright, plant filled and inclusive to all. The employees behind the counter were super cheerful, friendly, fast and helpful. The Bahn Mi was everything I could ask for. The crispy little pork egg rolls were loaded with flavor and had the most perfect bright, sweet dipping sauce...and the drinks! The strawberry matcha over ice is dang near my new ultra favorite (they float melted strawberry ice cream on top)! And that was so good I just HAD to try the iced coconut matcha! What we really came here for was the burger, we've been trying every place that the Akron Beacon Journal did a tournament for to determine our own favorite, without nostalgia influencing our decisions. The burger was fantastic. The meat is seasoned well and the bread was soft and fluffy. The sauce tasted homemade and unique, but didn't take away from the burger. The pickles on it as well are homemade or made from a company nearby, but they're also very good and different than any you get at the store. I will definitely be back. This was very good on a day where we stopped at 3 places and this happened to be the last.
