So WHY would the Dr agree to testing I asked of if he wasn't able to do so? Why would he not simply ask had I been exposed? In all I went in about 12 times for different tests or followups. Never really got answers. The equipment in the office is faulty. Stress test didn't work, and when they took my blood pressure a couple of different times it was off the charts, one time it errored out, and caused bruises, but when they checked manually it was good. (I don't have high blood pressure), the tech said "oh do you have a blood clot in the other arm?" What? Insinuating that I had a blood clot and that is what caused the error. The office staff is probably the worst I have ever encountered. They can't answer questions, and will literally lie with excuses. When I finally found a new cardiologist, (only because I needed clearance for a hip surgery) he was shocked at the amount of testing that was done. The only meds I am on is one aspirin a day and she told me exercise and eat healthy. Racked up alot of bills, because it was so excessive the insurance quit covering it. She also charges to talk to you on the phone. And will charge twice in one day, if you use the at home heart monitor. I think the dr is very knowledgeable and if I had actually had a problem maybe she would have helped me. But the staff and faulty equipment make the experience awful.

Complicated because they only do each test on certain days of the week (so stress tests only on Tuesdays, echo's only on Wednesdays, etc.). After the three tests, Dr. Farah didn't go over the results. She only told me there was an abnormality, and I needed two more tests. I was terrified. When the front office scheduled those tests for 6 weeks later, I wondered if I needed to go to the ER since I might die in the next 6 weeks from this abnormality. After those tests, Dr. Farah said "low risk" but recommended more tests. After the next test, I watched her write "mild" in her notes, but then she recommended a medication that would dramatically change my lifestyle (she also undersold the side effects as I later learned). I sought a second opinion. He said all of my results were what he'd expect for an average 50 year old who cycles a lot (he took the time to know that I bicycle 5,000-10,000 miles a year; she ignored that when I volunteered the information). I will never go back to Dr. Farah. I wasted $500 in copays and a lot of my time.
