Califorina burrito, tongue taco, Al pastor taco, asada taco

First time trying this taco cart. Love that they have QR code for you to order from your car. Food rating: Cali burrito ( with Al pastor): 8/10 very good but needs a little bit more flavor Al pastor taco: 7/10 good but not my favorite wish it was little more seasoned & personally I like more sweet Asada taco: 10/10 very good flavor Tongue taco: 11/10 my absolute favorite taco so juicy and tender if you like pulled meat you would like this. All 6 items were around $30. Not bad deal, would definitely be back.

BEST TACO SALAD W/ Al Pastor I HAVE EVER HAD! Update: I've come back 2x taco salad consistently good and portions are the same. California burrito is also 10/10! Aqua Fresca are a must, we tried the cucumber lime and it's light while being full of flavor, the pineapple is also really good!

Far left - al pastor Middle- chicken Far right - braised beef

Great, great spot! Clearly operated and runs well:) best chicken Street tacos in Vancouver for sure. Braised beef was bomb as well.

Variety of salsas are available to fit your taste.

Was in the area visiting a friend and we stopped by. I am always skeptical with Mexican food because I live in Southern California where the Mexican food is top notch so I'm often disappointed. However this establishment did not disappoint! This family owned / operated location utilizes fresh ingredients and as a result the flavor is phenomenal. I purchased an order of carne asada fries as well as a birria taco with consome dipping sauce. The portions were large and I was completely satisfied. Also they have a variety of fresh salsas / sauces to further tailor each dish for your taste. The staff are friendly and the prices are very fair! Definitely give this hidden gem a try!

We catered this food truck at our work and it was amazing! I had the lengua and I had to come back for more. Service was great - people were friendly!

Classic Burrito - Pollo (Chicken) and chicken tacos.

This time I got the classic burrito supreme with sour cream and guacamole with chicken. I also got 2 chicken tacos and the total cost was like $20.10. The burrito was gigantic. It was nice and hot too. It would have been better if it had some cheese in it. Also, I am not too sure why people put so much rice in their burritos. Way too much rice. I would rather more protein in my burritos but they all wanna add way too much rice. Excuse me, I will take my rice on the side please. The tacos are good but I don't think they are worth $2.75 each. 3 bites of the tacos and I was done. Also, they could spice up the protein the a little bit more it would be nice as it's kind of bland meat. It's still a good place and I am glad it's there. A lot of people go there now and I will most likely come back. Hopefully the nice owners will see my comments and improve the food along the way.

Vancouver is lucky to have this truck. Service was excellent from the moment we walked up. Their seating area is clean and their menu is clear and prices are great. It was hard to pick which agua fresca. They even offer samples to make it easy for you to pick. Tacos were absolutely delicious. Lots of meat. A must try!

I'm from the Bay Area and have been to Vancouver several times and this is by far my favorite taco place I have tried so far. I got 2 carne asada and 2 lengua tacos with the spicy salsa, with the spotlight going to their lengua. It was tender, yet had a perfect thin crispy outside from the reheating on the grill. The torillas were the perfect texture, and the meat was not too greasy so they held up well. The salsa wasn't too spicy IMO, but I wish they gave me a little more for my togo order. After I left that meal, I was craving them the whole weekend I was in town. Will definitely be coming back when I'm back!

Finding authentic tasting cuisine in this part of Vancouver is challenging, but Buen Apeitto did meet my expectations. Folks were welcoming, and ordering was quick and efficient with their mobile-friendly system which is perfect for those who prefer to stay in their car and receive a text when their order is ready. Ambience was ok, but very loud being next to such a busy freeway. Heaters/covered area would be nice when cold or rainy. I ordered a birria taco which was good, asada was a bit too salty, but the adobo was delicious and not too greasy as they tend to be. Per the pictures, the onion and cilantro mix is very rich with the purple onion and could use more cilantro. Overall, the food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced with a great selection of sauces, favorite being the red sauce.

The new ownership are still in the process of updating the name on all the online review sites. Best Mexican food in Vancouver and probably the Portland Metro area as well. Fair prices, fantastic food, and lots of salsa choices. Apparently new ownership as of 2 months ago (so prob Sept 2025). We had the taco plate and the steak and chorizo burrito Both were good sized. We were looking for a place to eat close to the hospital and this will be the top choice if we need to come back! The waitress was also super helpful in deciding what to get.

Absolutely disgusting overpriced and disappointing…read more I ordered $40.00 worth of food where anywhere else this would be $25.00 The guacamole was watered down but tasted ok The chips and salsa was delicious The beans and rice were bland and lack any flavor The consommé was disgusting lacked flavor and had a bad aftertaste. The quesabirria was absolutely disgusting and looked like day old prep then tossed into the microwave making a dry and soggy pile of slop the tortilla. The correct way to make quesabirria you deep fry corn tortillas with meat and cheese the way quesabirria is supposed to be made You used a thick Gordita Tortilla prepared it yesterday shoved it into a cooler then microwave them next business day. This is completely unacceptable and shameful I am a lost for words my family also owns a Mexican restaurant we take pride in our food quality and I'll leave you the owners with this honest question where is your Mexican pride our heritage is expressed in our food and so let me ask you what happened to you? I'm ashamed that this is how you represent our people. I expect better. I won't be back until you learn how to properly show respect for our cultures food and stop making this slop it's shameful and disgusting.

What a sleeper!! Outstanding service! Our host sat us and brought us chips and salsa quickly, then within a few minutes we actually had one of the owners, Josè, come by and ask how we heard about the place and take our drink orders. He explained that this is their second location (first one is in West Linn), they don't use any MSG or frozen food, and they only have one fried dish on their menu. We ordered house margaritas and taquitos from the happy hour menu, and the molcajete. Everything was fresh and delicious! We got a 2nd round of margaritas, they make their own mix in house and they were so tasty! We went at 5pm, so they weren't super busy yet, but there were still quite a few tables filled. The place is bright and clean.

But you can't get a happy hour appetizer and regular entree with kid meal. lol That was fine we just ordered happy hour stuff. Beans with chorizo skip. Gross so bad we left it Taqueria dorados: skip. 3 small fried tacos cut in half. The ceviche: was more of a guacamole and maybe some pieces of shrimp in there. 3 shrimp? (I think this was the best thing because I want guacamole too ) "Premium" margarita : don't know what's premium about it tasted like gross tequila anyway. Habanero hot sauce was delicious though. Would I return, no It was the only place open. Service needs work. Parking obviously non existent and they are working on the street still

Had dinner here with family on the last night of my Washington state vacation. It was a Sunday and…read morethe place was fairly empty. We were greeted and seated immediately and given chips and salsa, which were delicious. The decor was a bit eclectic with tin birds in the windows and a huge altar toward the back of the restaurant. The colors yellow and red figured prominently throughout the restaurant. I had two crispy tacos with shredded beef and a side of rice. It was very good; not too spicy or greasy. The food portion was just right. Others in our party had potato enchiladas and some sort of mole dish, and everyone seemed to like their food. If I lived in the area I would definitely return.

Tried this place for the first time…read more Hotel receptionist said she'd never eaten here. I should have taken that as a subtle recommendation. The good: plenty of parking, plenty of seating. Spanish speaking staff. Warm chips and good salsa. Decent rice and beans. The not so good: taco shells were not made on site, seem to be from a package. The margarita was not tasty, the mix was off and the house tequila was not so good. I could only finish half of it. Being my first time, I asked for her recommendation from the hostess on what to order? Instead of rising to the occasion, she immediately said I don't eat meat then proceeded to tell me about all the high dollar meat items. lol I could not take her recommendation to heart. I went with a somewhat safe bet of two crunchy tacos. The rice and beans were decent. The shells were crispy but flavorless. The salsa and chips were decent. The chips were warm. I finished the two tacos half the margarita and left. Would I go back here again? Probably not, with so many places to eat in this area, but I had to give it a shot. I overheard the table next to me complaining about their fajitas. The gentleman said "this is just Chuck steak" and I had to laugh out loud before I left. Disclaimer. I live in San Diego and judge Mexican food for its face value. I was not impressed. But maybe be i was there on an off night?
