The prices are not cheap either so to charge this high, be rude/awkward about it and the best part is you have homeless people pressing you for change and watching you. This will be the last time I come here. Hope the new ownership gets this figured out/ addressed.

Everything felt really efficient and modern. When I picked up my laundry, everything was neatly folded and packed with care, and smelled so fresh. You can really tell they pay attention to the little details. The laundromat itself was also spotless, and the representative who helped me was very kind (unfortunately I forgot to ask for her name!) As a young Black man, it is deeply uncomfortable to feel watched and followed as if I don't belong. Today, while doing my laundry, I witnessed the Hispanic employee on duty treat an elderly Black man with the same level of suspicion and disrespect he has shown me for months. He stares constantly and sometimes follows me around; it feels like harassment and sends a clear message of 'What are you doing here?' I grew up in this neighborhood and have come here since I was a baby with my mother. I am leaving five stars only out of respect for the business's history and my years of patronage, but this behavior is unacceptable. Management, please speak to your staff. Everyone should feel welcome here, regardless of their race.

WARNING: This place does not dispense hot water on a regular basis. Came in to wash clothes today…read moresince I needed to use a commercial washer and I put my money in and for 5 minutes the washer didn't dispense any water. It was just cycling with no water. The attendant told me that the hot water here sometimes doesn't work. I just have to catch it at a time when it happens to be working. Are you serious? She told me to just switch it to warm real quick and it will wash or she can stop it and we can "request" for a refund. And do another washer. Really? Like I'm going to go out of my way for a $2.75 refund and take another chance of no water coming out. I told her they should put signs stating that the hot water possible may not come out. She said the owner said no and doesn't want that. Seems like he doesn't care about the customers knowing. What a douche bag. So I lost half my wash having to wash my whites in warm water. What a ghetto laundry mat. Never coming here again. I advise to stay away from this place if you need to wash your clothes in hot water.

The place is clean and kept up well Every time I've come in I'm always seeing Fatima and Arisa cleaning (Arisa is no longer working there) but it seem every time I've had a problem or question "Fatima" came to the rescue! She was always happy to help! She always so hard working and gives great customer service... whether it was when I poured soap on the floor accidentally or when I couldn't figure out how to stop the washing machine to add somethings I forgot...etc she was there willing to help with a smile. Management should address the poor customer service and ensure employees follow the posted business hours. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Based on publicly listed information, Coin OP Laundry Lavanderia in La Mirada⁠ advertises hours until 10:00 PM daily.

I went in…read morewanting just a hem, but after consulting with Coco, she suggested tightening up the shoulder seam so that the bust of my dress didn't sag as much. I had read the reviews before going to her, so I was aware of Coco delivering a day late on alterations. I went in on June 18th to get my dress altered, and Coco told me to come in on July 2nd to pick up my dress. On July 2nd, I actually called her beforehand to confirm that my dress would be ready. She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I would definitely recommend getting your clothes in earlier rather than later to accommodate for any potential delays.
