This has become a tradition any time we come to Yankee Candle. The menu has a lot of great options and we have never had something we didn't enjoy. The portions are huge, this time we ordered 2 quesadillas and still did not finish between the four of us. I forgot to take photos before the kids started eating so they do not represent the full portion. Their guacamole is delicious, highly recommend. They have a salsa bar which we love. We were hungry after visiting Yankee candle. We found this small Mexican restaurant nearby. We were glad we did. This is a tiny restaurant with a few tables. The food was made in the kitchen on-site and was very tasty. The staff were nice and the service was quick. In particular, the Korean kimchi BBQ burritos was kind of special and I had not tried it anywhere else. I have fond memories of Bueno Y Sano from my summers in Western MA in and around Amherst, but it seems as they've expanded over the years, the quality has gotten substantially worse. What's the word for less than mediocre? That's the best way to describe this experience. We got 2 burritos, 2 kids tacos, a stuffed pepper, and chips/salsa. Literally every facet of the burritos were flavorless. Flavorless rice, flavorless beans, chicken chunks that had zero seasoning and were probably pulled from a bag. Even the hot sauce was 1 dimensional. Kids tacos? see aforementioned chicken along with a handful of lettuce and bagged cheese. $4.25 a piece!!!! Stuffed pepper, barely lukewarm, and flavorless. $3.50 for 2 bites of nothingness. Chips? You get a handful's worth for $3 and they were ice cold. This place makes chipotle and Moe's look gourmet as well as dirt cheap. An absolute embarrassment for a once respected name. read more

We stopped randomly on our way to Stowe, VT. We will come back if we are ever even remotely close. Cute restaurant and great service. I had the smoked brisket tacos. SO flavorful. The smoke on the tender brisket was perfectly balanced with the acid of the salsa and the spice of the sauce. My husband had a chipotle chicken burrito and his response after the first bite "If this place was close I would NEVER got to Chipotle again." If you are in the area. When I asked the staff about the item, they insisted that they were the tacos and not a burrito. There's a obviously a notable difference between tacos and a burrito. However, I'm not one to make a scene. I decided since I already paid for it, I might as well make the best of it. I took two bites of this burrito and threw the entire thing away. I was shocked the Bueno y Sano they have a si call Bowel Special I don't know what was special of it because there was just a stuffed jalapeño and the food was smelling like burnt rice and the food temperature was horribly cold the beans was dry and I also ordered chicken quesadilla it was salty and greasy dripping out of it and it had more melted cheese then chicken in it, the rice and bean was really bad smelling like runt rice horrible, this was just a stop by through the town while I was at Yankee Candle I would never recommend none of my friends too this location. You honestly can't go wrong, everything I've ever gotten was delicious and FRESH. I especially like that their tacos are like tiny burritos - soooooo much easier to eat them that way. Once again our order was wrong, flour tortillas tacos are not tacos, don't try and leave anything off your burrito or add anything they do not get it right. I have been going to Buenos for 15 years...mostly in Amherst where it started. I was thrilled when the south deerfield opened since I had moved there from Amherst. I went on opening day and ordered a steak burrito which is 4 meals for me and it was wonderful. A month later I went back and got another steak burrito Granderson and 95% of it was rice. I opened the entire burrito ate the I pieces of the tiniest dried steak and tossed the rest. I go back with my husband and I get tacos this time because I am not big on rice anyways. It was stuffed with juicy hot deliciousness...I was so happy. Call one day to ordered for 25 minutes and never got an answer...drive up and walked in...3 of them there working and it took 4 minutes for someone to come over to me. I wanted to order 2 tacos and they said 40 minutes so I said no thanks. Today....I called 2 hours in advance for my tacos to be ready at 630. I get there at 615...not ready I said that's ok how long ..he says 640 I'm like that doesnt work for me that's why I called in 2 hours in advance. So he says they will make it now I say ok thank you...15 minutes later and I tipped t dollars on top...I get my tacos .I go home and open them ..a 2 minute drive.. not only are they cold..which how is that even possible...look at the size and every 2 bites of the entire taco was dried grizzly hard meat. I can say this was the last time I will go to south deerfield Buenos. I'll make the drive to amherst for what buenos stands for. read more

Love Bueno! The staff is always friendly and greet you with a smile upon entering the shop. I love that I can call ahead and pick up my order with little to no wait time upon arrival. I'm obsessed with the steak quesadillas! The steak is juicy and seasoned well. Goes nicely with the fresh pico, which I always order extra because it's so good. The stuffed jalapenos are a nice little side and the burritos! My god, they are massive! Haven't tried anything there that I haven't liked but the Spicy Chicken ranch burrito with bacon is delicious! You are not left feeling hungry afterward. I always have left overs. A great addition to the center of South Deerfield! read more
