This is an absolute hidden gem in the Hadley area!! I absolutely loved the welcoming environment, as soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and helped right away. I will definitely become a regular of this place, the portions are huge!!! It reminded me of authentic Latin American restaurants in Central America! In the area and see this spot, I'm a sucker for tacos. I expected we were going to a restaurant but it's actually a Mexican store with a couple of tables tucked in a corner and a hidden kitchen. We ordered two tacos each and a quesadilla. The tacos were kind of bland and without much flavor or toppings. The quesadilla was greasy and falling apart. The people were nice but I don't think I'd come back. The food was just okay, nothing I'd make a second trip for. That's too bad. read more

There are two tables inside but if you walk over to the counter, you can order. The staff is so nice and so thoughtful. I had beef lengua, barbacoa, ground beef, carnitas, and carne asada. My wife and I got married on the west coast and we ate tacos galore for our wedding trip. I've gone here three times--first time on a whim--what's that place in the parking lot that's a market and prepares food! What a great experience! The food is freshly cooked to order--Mexican with a few other staples. The workers all were kind, conversant--recipes were from relatives or following a traditional style. You can also buy some lesser available Mexican food to eat. Additionally there's a cool supermarket that's part of the business. Family is there (the workers family) and there are a few outdoor tables. The chef and / or cashier will bring the food to you where ever you are sitting. It's also got a kind of eating counter with a few stools indoors -we had been there in winter and ate in the car. We also had sat at one of the outdoor tables . No frills on the outdoor eating but I'm there for the food and being with my family/friends to eat. I give it a real leg up (much better) than the Mexican places in Amherst or Northampton. My recent experience at LaVeraCruzana in Amherst will never have me in there again--and likely not the NOHO one as , now reading their reviews they look like they've also got service issues--why eat out if service is rude. Give this place it a try. Call before going just to check hours. I can't say it's a dinner place or open after 7pm. But definitely daytime lunch or late afternoon meal is possible. read more

This is a hidden jem! Had never been here before and was craving some tacos. It's a market atmosphere with a side kitchen that all the cooking is done. If your looking to cook in the Mexican quinine this market has a great selection of ingredients. The food is cooked to order and is as fresh as can be. I ordered the taco plate which comes 4 tacos with choice of protein. I choose a protein that's not really common. Beef tongue. It was incredible. Very tender and flavorful with a great variety of fresh veggies. Radish, cilantro, cucumber, fresh lime, roasted jalapeño, fresh onion. Came with two homemade salsa's one red one green. I ordered this to go and was sitting in my car throughly enjoying these when I hear a noise. The owner I presume runs out and gives me a free bottle of cold water. Now that's awesome! Great customer service. The tacos were fantastic and a great value. Go try this place. You won't be disappointed. I'm definitely going to explore this menu up and down. This place is stellar! What a gem. It is a grocery store for many international grocery items and also a restaurant with outdoor picnic tables. The chicken quesadilla is out of this world! It is plenty for one or two meals for each person (dining partner and I are semi petite women) and we had extras to take home. They were made to order, fresh and very authentic. There are two tables inside and a couple benches outside for eating. The couple running the store were wonderful.
