I kept seeing this on Facebook so when it opened I just had to go check it out. That particular day on FB I saw everything was 20% off and over $100 would be 30% off so I had my mind up I was going to spend a lot before I got there. The first thing I noticed was there were no prices on anything. Oh crap. Then, I noticed there was a big sign on the wall with all the prices. yay. There were people at the counter either making their own soap or having the workers make their laundry detergent. When I say make laundry detergent I mean there are tubs of laundry detergent with only 4 ingredients and you can choose any scent to be added. I found out it was buy one and get one for $5 so I took advantage. I am very sensitive and it did not bother my skin at all because I washed my sheets that same day. I mixed lavender and fresh cotton to mine. I can still smell it when I walk in my room. Also, they have wool balls you can dry your clothes with and have them scented and it replaces dryer sheets. They recommend a couple per load. When the scent fades away you can go back in and have them rescented for a couple bucks. Then, the soaps and other doo dads are all amazing. There are mystery boxes at the front counter all for $5 each. I bought one for me and one for my daughter. They each had two little soaps and body butter in them. I will say I loved it so much I immediately inquired online how to open my own franchise. Yes, it is a chain, but there weren't any around here. I welcome them with open arms!

5 minutes away blue bath bomb dissolved.

I stopped by because I was in a the area and didn't feel like going to Oxmoor for my go-to Lush. I grabbed two pre-packed bath bombs one blue and one purple. Customer service was great, and staff was friendly not pushy. However, the disappointment landed after I popped one in the tub. The super fizzy bomb sank to the bottom and dissolved into an oily film? The smell that lingers is not offensive but not anything special. The bomb does prove to moisturizing. I do like the concept and what they are TRYING to do. BCS is missing the mark. For $7 I expect my bathtub to be transformed into a fizzing wonderland. I'm disappointed. Drive the 25 minutes and pay the $2 toll to get to Lush.

Finally, if this Walgreens gets closed in the Corporate cutbacks, I have no idea what I would do (the anxiety of finding a new pharmacy is very stressful). Do you really think your public is confined to shopping at one location? And why is it you are so anti-people walking into the store and shopping with you? It just feels like you'd make it easier to reach out to you but every time I've tried, you come back with a message that says survey is no longer accepted or thank you for the feedback, but then they don't give you anywhere to submit it because they're having problems with their website?? ... Don't think they need my business anymore. They're probably happy about that since they are just not engaged with their public. Why make it so hard to actually submit any feedback about the situations you run into trying to use your website, trying to use your coupons and if you don't have a mobile phone, which I happen to, but it's just easier to walk into the store and pick it up, well then you're straight out the gate not gonna actually get anything ...because you can't use any of their coupons in store... from the phone? It has to be ordered on the phone and then picked up in store which makes no sense at all. So I can just take my business elsewhere and that's easy enough for me but imagine if 100,000 people all do that. I wonder if Walgreens would notice then their customer service has slipped a lot since Covid hit?

Every once in a while, these mistakes result in full on catastrophe. I usually color my hair at home. I'm sure there are arguments against it but the outcome is usually quite acceptable. Periodically, however, I'll step to the left or the right and try some random different product off of the drugstore shelf. This usually ends badly and I have yet to learn that lesson. Recently, I threw caution to the wind and bought a product that I'd never used before (at the drug store). I ended up with hair the color of Banana Laffy Taffy. It was pretty awful. A trip to a salon didn't really change much and I'd already surpassed my "emergency hair repair" budget. I stopped in this location to grab some toner and conditioner to repair the damage. The aisles here are narrow and it gets crowded with more than two people shopping for the same items. On the day that I dropped in, someone thought that dragging three small children (one of whom screeched like a pasty little gibbon) was a good idea. So, my shopping trip took a little longer than expected because I had to hang out in another aisle to avoid being immersed in that mess. The staff was superbly informative when I asked for help finding a conditioning mask that would make my hair feel less like straw. I left with everything I needed to put myself back together for less than thirty bucks!
