I know it's Christmas Eve, so I added one more star than I really thought they deserved, but the staff of this Ulta was very unfriendly today. I was very disappointed to learn there was no clearance section and when I asked for a small discount for a kit that was especially damaged, I was told it would still be the full price. I mean I'm buying Christmas presents- the appearance of the package is pretty important to me! I'm not paying full price because you all weren't careful? I'll go to Sephora. The response I got was "well, the staff well purchase that if you don't." Uh, okay. So then I typed into Google "Ulta military discount" and tried showing the cashier they would offer 10% if I had purchased through the website? The cashier we had, who was extremely unenthusiastic, barely looked at us and only said 'well we don't do that here' . She didn't even say 'sorry, I wish we did', she didn't even say Happy Holidays as she handed us our bag AFTER WE SPENT $300! Yep. Someone needs to sing a Christmas carol. Because trying to talk to that cashier was the low point of our day. I should've pressed to speak to the manager but I didn't want to stare at the scowl of this girl anymore. love that an Ulta opened up in Jeffersonville. I went there today for a specific shampoo and makeup. There were several employees there but they were not friendly. Fives employee walked past me and my daughter with their eyes forward. Avoiding the fact I was trying to make eye contact for help. (I have my mouth wired shut from a recent jaw surgery). I walked up to the register and asked for help which I received. As I'm checking out the employee was super rude also avoiding contact. She snapped at my 12 year old daughter when she couldn't hear her say her phone number. Also the email address was wrong. She said just change it at your next visit. My point...Management seemed either distracted or non existent. When you go to a beauty store at 3pm on a Friday you would think their would be more representation of of a beauty consultants. Very Disappointed the next time I'm gonna go to Ulta I will drive to Louisville Kentucky from where I live I will avoid the store. read more

I am extremely happy that Ulta opened a store in this location. I went in on my lunch break to pick up a few items. Tatum from the Brow Bar didn't have a client at the time so she helped me pick out some makeup products that I had questions about. I was so happy with her help that I decided to go ahead and have her do my brows as well. Honestly they really needed it anyway. She was nice and made good conversation. My brows look so much better. I would recommend her to anyone needing to get their brows done. read more

The store looks amazing. It's clean, bright and welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The store manager even helped me with product questions and by directing me to the right person to help me. Love, Love, Love Andrea in the Hair Salon. i've never had a problem with Ulta. especially this one. but when i came in the other day the staff were incredibly rude. there was one who was very sweet but the rest were unprofessional and rude. we overheard them talking bad about customers and i even heard one say something about me and my friend. i'm not sure the names, but thank you to the girl who helped me and thank you for being professional and caring. but i am very disappointed because i've always loved this location, but i'm not going to go somewhere where the employees have attitudes to their customers and when i checked out they never said thank you, or have a good day. just said "print of email receipt" and then gave me my receipt and turned right around to talk about other customers with their coworkers. i'm just overly disappointed. read more

So, to start this off. I am 99% wear my mask. I think it is dumb as hell. I was in there buy all new makeup. I had been smelling thing. I am extremely allergic to a lot of scents. I was moving to the next thing. This is the part that infuriates me. There was a little group of employees leaning all over these shelves. As this girl told me move my mask up. She was putting germs all over the shelves. Being a manager for decades. I wouldn't be put germs or picking up germs on her face which the mask doesn't protect your chin and below. She couldn't walk over there. She did it scolding across the store. I will never go to that store again. All the stuff was a mess. You couldn't find anything. It's a shame, they are go to for Christmas present for the young ladies in my family It's where I buy my matrix shampoo. Only minded cause she was leaning on a shelf toward on the right side. First full row. She was being very unprofessional. I hope they wipe down where her face and other people leaning around. That was way more germs than half a nose out. I just walked out. I went into the store Saturday 2/6 just to get some new elf makeup and look around with my mom. from the moment we walked in we were followed. I went to smell some perfumes and there were a couple of customers in the area but I specifically was told not to touch the perfume bottles because it could spread covid. (others were picking up and sniffing the bottles but we're told nothing. we continued to walk around just checking everything out my mom had never been in before. but everytime we passed an isle this same worker was behind and asking if we were okay or needed anything. I work retail so I know procedure when you think someone is stealing. we told her no and kept walking but she was following so closely behind us we couldn't turn around or go to the next isle. we were uncomfortable so we left. I then returned to Ask for the managers name, the worker who was following us arounds name and corporate number. the woman in the front who said her name was Cassie refused to give me the managers name and told me there was no woman there under the description I gave her. I believe it was because we are African American. we were immediately followed and treated differently. told not to touch things in the store and followed so closely they definitely were 6 feet away.
