This soap shop has so many different options and amazing scents! I especially love the cool designs of the bars- like tie dye - it's fun to gift them! They offer classes for soap making/bath bombs and other things. The staff is always super helpful!

Tried a new scent today! We usually get commando but trying this one for once!

Amazing as always! Great deals and fantastic products. Everything smells great, more natural ingredients and great for sensitive skin. Plus the customer service here is amazing! Super duper friendly!!!

I stopped by Buff City Soap in Midtown Tampa to pick up some bath bombs for my friend, learned more about their products, and left with their most popular products... laundry detergent! If you're on a health journey like I've been for most of my adult life, you've likely transitioned or are transitioning to non-toxic cleaners and products. Buff City Soap has you covered with their non-toxic, plant-based soaps that are handmaid daily in their local soap makeries. They're on a mission to create handmade products that are free of harsh ingredients and full of nourishing plant based goodness... and I'm here for it! NON-TOXIC, PLANT-BASED PRODUCTS: Soaps Shower Products Bath Bombs & Soaks Face Products Body Butter, Scrub, Mist Men's Shaving Products Laundry Soap, Boosters, Dryer Balls I love the products, but they are expensive IMO. Will I continue to buy laindry detergent? Yes, bu6lt hopefully they have a good sale so I can stock up.

If you can take a trip to Midtown Tampa and NOT stop by Buff City Soap, you're a stronger person than I am. I love to walk around the clean and inviting store, smelling all of the different soaps. They even have a few fall scents out already! The associates are always friendly and helpful, and the shop is laid out well so that you can easily move from display to display. I eventually make my way to the area with the items in the Narcissist fragrance though, because it is my favorite. I'm currently washing my bed linens in their Narcissist laundry detergent, and I'm swooning over the lovely smell. There was a group for a birthday party coming in the door as I left today, and it made me think about how fun it would be to have a soap making party here.

Ok yes I absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! I've gotten friends, family and coworkers turned to BCS now too! I visit monthly of course to collect my free bar that I got by being one of the first 50 in line during their grand opening event. But every time I come, they are having some type of awesome sale and I leave with a bag of goodies lol. Staff is always sooo friendly and available to help you find what you're looking for. My favs include the charcoal face bar, the narcissist shave bar and the narcissist body bar. I also really like the soap holders they have here too! Come check this place out if you haven't already. But be ready to become addicted!!

Well, I never expected myself to be in a store that sells soap and related skin and personal care products. Yet here I am. Head that this place was opening in the Midtown plaza, where I've been to many other stores. Wife wanted to check them out for Mother's Day so i decided to oblige and tag along. Parking is plentiful in the surrounding garages, which was great. We needed up being there on the 3rd day of grand opening weekend and scored a couple of freebies, which was a nice bonus. First impressions? The store is bright, colorful, and actually smelled good! When you walk in, they have all of their various scented items organized into their own sections, which included soaps, lotions, laundry detergent and other associated items. The staff was helpful and always checked to make s=they answer any questions we had and to direct us to product we might be looking for. Long story short, I got soaps, detergents, lotions, and soap bar holder/loofah. They have men's products in there selection so I didn't feel left out at all. To be honest, I liked the different scents and many actually reminded me of my wife (I guess she e=smells like lavender and other stuff...lol). The really nice thing is that all the products are organic and pretty much made in house. Nice change from the standard chemicals used in body washes and other similar products. I'll try these products out and if I like them and they do what they're supposed to do, I'll be back. If you get a chance to go to Midtown, at least drop into Buff City Soap and take a sniff. It might surprise you and you'll walk away with a bunch of stuff like we did!

The store is a very cool concept and the set up is aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed walking around here while passing the time. They had a cool sink set-up where you could test some products and wash them off which I found to be a nice touch. Sadly, the products I sampled did not live up to the hype. Keep in mind scents are super subjective. Almost none of the soap bars I smelled had any scent except for the peppermint one (I believe it was called "breathe easy" and meant for congestion). I tried the foam hand soaps, epsom salts, soap whip, and lotion sticks. No luck finding a pleasing and present smell. I went so far as to use the hand soap, soap whip, and lotion sticks on my hands but could not smell a thing. Perhaps if I bought some thing and gave it a few chances at home I would feel differently, but I did not find anything I would want to spend money on. That being said, while I was there they were hosting a bath fizzy class where you were able to make some and bring them home, which I think would be a fun experiencing worthy of the time and money.

*Disclaimer- received a coupon in the mail for a free bar of soap* I chose the "Ferocious Beast" ($9) the most manly sounding bar of natural soap ever made. It smells like high-end sandalwood cologne and has a neat look to it, see pic below. The ingredients include olive oil, coconut oil, and rapseedate oils. My main concern is the fragrance listed. Per their website the fragrances are also natural and contain essential oils. Seems to be a quality bar of soap. The service is friendly and the store layout is modern and open. Also received a sample of laundry detergent. Will be back.

Walked into this place not really expecting much. It smells good but a bit overwhelming since my allergies are a pain in the you know what lol. Amanda (I think that was her name) said hi to us and gave us a little background about the store, what they do as well as letting us know that it's 20% all week for Mother's Day (score!) I picked up 2 bath bombs (this girl loves her baths) and my son picked out a surprise box. They also have different soap items for the house hold. I also love that you can customize smells of you wanted to. Can't wait to try them later!

Noticed this store while dining in Midtown and WOW! From the moment I walked in the scents combined were amazing. Cute boutique type store with several variety's of bath and body products along with laundry soap. The sale associate mentioned the soap are vegan which was great to hear, those were about $8 a bar and the body creams were around $13. I opted to try the 4 ingredients Laundry Soap ($21.50). Never paid that much for laundry soap but took a chance. I washed my clothes the next day and the Fresh Cotton scent aroma could be smelled throughout the house while it was washing. Once the clothes were dry I could still smell the aroma! Love it!!! I also got a mini bottle of the Shower Oil, haven't tried yet.

I absolutely love the products. The laundry detergent is a great price at $18 for 32 loads of laundry. Same price as most name brand detergents sans the harsh chemicals. We love their bath bombs because the oils that hydrate the skin and the amazing scent that lights my bathroom for a few days. Everyone is so kind and helpful and my daughter seems to be obsessed with their mystery boxes. Where you get a few surprise products for $7. Items like their truffle butter bomb, bath bomb, soaps, fairy dust , oils and mini products. When using their soaps I always feel so soft and the scents are just great. I love the soap making classes they offer and they have a reward program. Don't forget to check out the wash area with store items to test before purchasing. You'll definitely add more products to love. Also, don't forget to sign up for emails. You'll be able to catch their pop up sales.

    They make their own products.

The shop is super open, calming, and beautifully organized, and it immediately gave off the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and look at everything. They had such a wide range of products like body wash, natural toothpaste, face masks, candles, handmade soaps, and more. Everything is either refillable or handmade, and the ingredients were super clean, which I really appreciate. You can tell a lot of thought goes into what they stock. It didn't feel like just another store; it felt like someone's passion project. When we went to check out, the person at the counter (I think he was the owner) was so genuinely warm and welcoming. He asked if it was our first time in and took the time to walk us through how the store works and what they're all about. No pressure, no upselling, just someone who really cares about what he's doing and wants you to feel comfortable. It honestly made the experience even better, and I left feeling like I wanted to tell everyone about it. If you're in the area, even if you don't need anything, go check it out. Places like this deserve support not just for the amazing products, but for the people behind them.

I got a shampoo bar, a face mask and a bar of soap, as well as a kiwi conditioner that the cashier recommended for my hair type; and was so excited to try the products. The shampoo bar, face mask and soap were all perfectly fine; but the conditioner left my hair disgusting and waxy!! I have washed my hair thoroughly 7 times in one day to try and get the waxy feeling out of my hair (twice with dawn dish soap at the suggestion of friends) and still haven't gotten the waxy feeling out of my hair completely. I've never had such a terrible experience with a conditioner and when I went in to ask for a refund the cashier (whos daughter was working the front counter when i walked in/different from the one who suggested the conditioner the day before) told me I would have to call the owner to get my money back. I was able to get the refund but I am extremely distraught by the havoc that was wreaked upon my hair as well as the cashiers poor attitude. If you do come in make sure to avoid the kiwi conditioner.
