Had an interesting experience at this car wash. I was out of town on business and had a rental car…read more The previous day, I had to visit a client down a long dirt road. So...the car was dirty. I was staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place. Figured it would be quick and painless. Well...it was, sort of. The easy part is picking your wash level and paying. After that, you self-guide your car into place. On the day I went, there is no light telling you when to stop. Instead there is a loud horn. I heard that and wondered if I went too far, so I backed up a bit. Seemed to work as it started. Then it soaked my car, covered it with soap and then...stopped. Nothing. I tried going up, nothing, back, nothing, sitting, nothing...now what? Well, figured it was best to drive around front and ask the cashier to help. Apparently, the manager was already on his way so when I got up front, he was in the back fixing it. Anyway, he was able to fix whatever happened and let me know to immediately stop when I hear the horn. So, re-enter and wash. Worked great! But, you will need to bring towels with you or drive pretty fast when you are done. The blow dryers at the end get some water off but not as much as others. Overall, it worked, cleaned the car but really didn't dry the car. So, bring towels, stop when you hear the horn and...enjoy!!!

For my car, and my odd beliefs, Shell gas doesn't burn as hard.. and leave my tank as easy as Chevron, so I pulled my ride up.... it was still early on a Saturday night.. 6PM... and they have a ton of pumps. The pumps take card, and as the other person wrote.. no asking for zip codes anymore.. but I haven't encountered that problem for some time.. maybe they got that requirement out of the system. One thing they do need to upgrade is their pumps... as after you take the nozzle from the placement on the pump, you have to lift the device before the pump is going to work, old tech, really, not many gas stations have this anymore. The gas prices are a little higher than the rest of Washington State, but for good reason... it's close to the Canadian border.... if you want cheaper, go South! If you are looking for Shell gas.. right before you head back to the land of the maple leaf... get it before you have to idle for long periods of time waiting to enter Canada, I'll drive by with my Nexus pass.. thank you very much.

This is the only truck wash in Whatcom County. I've had many trucks and trailers washed here over…read morethe last two years and they usually do a nice job but it doesn't hurt to do a walk-around sometimes a spot or two is missed. They also wash motorhomes, boats on trailers and heavy equipment of all kinds. This summer they had a dump truck that had been full of fish and left out way too long and they worked on it for several days. If the wash bay is empty you pull in and stop and they get right to work on it. If there is a line somebody usually comes out and tells you how long the wait will be, but not always, they could be a little more consistent with that process.
