It went from a bullet size hole and cracked across the windshield within hours and further overnight. It's been over a week and it didn't crack more then 12 inches or so since. Rimon, the Safelite tech was at the condo by 10:30am, he seemed nice and arrived before his text messaged estimated time. He told us it would take about and hour. He showed us how much he would be collecting for the windshield replacement, it would be $353+ and showed me the bill before we parted to let him do his thing. He said he could call me when he's done. I said yes. He was done after 45 minutes or so. I got a text from Safelite as well as a call from the tech when he finished. He asked if I would be driving it soon or today at all. I said maybe later. He was happy to remove the setting tape for me. I said it was fine. He suggested letting it set for a couple of hours if possible. The tech was quick with running my credit card and a receipt was to be sent to my email. He was deft, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I like this easy and convenient process and will definitely do it again. Hoping it's a long while before I have to replace my windshield from road debris again though. The tech reminded me that there's a lifetime warranty on the windshield. Good to know. The non-OEM glass was made by Fuyao.

I was very stressed by the surprise breakage of my windshield and they put me totally at ease and give me a great baseline for what I could expect to pay for the repair. If I still lived in the area (I grew up nearby which is how I knew to trust these guys) I would certainly be bringing my car in for any and all glass related repairs! I had a very pleasant experience at VIP car wash last week. I had never been there before and…read moreusually use a cheapo $5 or $6 exterior wash only place. For $35 plus tip I received an excellent exterior wash and interior clean. They gentlemen at the beginning of the wash even opened the doors and carefully power washed the door wells. The people at the end did a great job drying everything and the man who did all the interior work did a great job getting the dog hair out of the carpet and the dog prints off the windows, seats, and dash. There was only ONE car there when I arrived and it was already being serviced. I was told (very rudely) by the old lady with glasses that it would be 3-4 hours. I walked back outside to remove my son's car seat from the vehicle, a very rude gentleman asked me to move my car loudly and abruptly before I could inform him that I no longer had my keys. Fast forward, 1:15pm I called to check on my vehicle to be informed that they had JUST started on it. I immediately asked them to stop because it had already been 5 hours and it should have been completed. When I walked in, I retrieved my keys and walked out to my car to find my gas tank wide open. I went back in and asked for a manager to inform them that I would be filing a police report because I feel as though the tampered with my car. Once inside my vehicle to my surprise, it was WORSE than when I dropped it off. Apparently they "prepped my vehicle and sprayed the door jams and now there are water marks on my ceiling around EVERY door. When I spoke to the manager, Paul, he apologized and told me he would do absolutely NOTHING for me beside clean my ceiling THAT THEY DAMAGED...and I could bring my car back and continue to wait. After 5 hours I received nothing but a damaged vehicle and inconvenience. I will be filing a police report and a claim in court for someone to correct the issues that they have caused me. I told my friend who referred me to my them to never refer anything else to me! They charge the same price as the Chevy dealership and the Chevy dealership is more efficient. This is what you get for trying to support small owned businesses. Go to Matick Chevrolet, they are the same price and will have you in and out in 2 hours or less.
