Visited for an an early dinner on a Thursday night! We were greeted by one of the ladies behind the counter immediately as we walked in. We were the only one in the restaurant at this time. (Only two other tables by the time we left) Our drink orders were taken immediately and our food order shortly after. We got the sweet potato fries for an appetizer and they came out a few minutes later. I love sweet potato anything however the fries were a little burnt so I had to pick through them. Our meal came out shortly after. I ordered the quarter pounder burger with broccoli casserole and my son ordered the hotdog with macaroni and cheese. The burger was good but the broccoli casserole was absolutely disgusting! It didn't even taste fresh! My sons hot dog was good as well and the Mac and cheese was ok.... It tasted like the sides were microwaved and they had that reheated taste. And both came out way too hot. For dessert I ordered the oh my chocolate chip pie with a scoop of ice cream and my son ordered the peach cobbler which had just came out of the oven. Both were great! I love the oh my chocolate chip pie. I also ordered a piece of the chocolate chess pie to go since I had never had it before. It tasted just like a brownie! It was good but the oh my chocolate chip pie was definitely my favorite. My sons peach cobbler was also pretty good as well. Through out the meal we were checked on a couple of times but I had to ask to have my drink refilled which is a pet peeve of mine. However the burger and hot dog themselves were great and the desserts were also very good so we will be back! read more

AWEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! They burnt the parmesan chicken sandwich when I sent it back they asked if I wanted something else. I told them yes then at check out they charged for both items. When addressed, she said there was nothing wrong with the chicken. I said you should have said so when it was sent back. She said sorry. That's it!!!! Still charged for both. I really love to support local places but NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I EAT AT BUFFALO AND MORE!!!!!!!! read more

Buffalo and More is an excellent restaurant. The buffalo cheese fries, as Rich S. mentioned are absolutely delicious. Paired with a buffalo burger you are in for some good eaten! Homemade desserts and family friendly atmosphere. I cant count the number of times I have been here. This restaurant is really as good as it gets! read more

Very small and simple hole-in-the-wall that has great food at a good price. We both got Buffalo burgers that were perfectly cooked (not too dry) with really fresh and crisp toppings. The fries and mac and cheese were also great. We were in a rush so didn't get a chance to try out the rest of the menu - they have a few Mexican dishes made with buffalo, some tasty cakes and pies, and a bunch of buffalo meat you can take home. If we're ever back in the area we'll have to check this place out again! read more

We returned from 4 years in Europe and this was the first place we ate in the New River Valley and we have returned at least once a week to eat here even though we live in Blacksburg. The food is fantastic and the owners are not only great people but are fun and make each trip a new experience. If you go there make sure to try the corn bread and the HOT FUDGE CAKE it is so darn good it should be illegal! Chris read more

Had dinner at Buffalo and More this week and it was amazing! I raised bison myself and know what it takes to produce the kind of animals to have this quality of meat. I bought 2 ribeyes to take home and while my first thought was, "best bison steaks in a very long time", I think I need to amend that to "best steak I've had in a very long time". I was heading back home to New Jersey after visiting family in Oklahoma and stopped off for the night in the greater Roanoke area. As usual I went straight to yelp to help me find a local place to eat. After reading the reviews I had to give it a try. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot I knew that this place was going to be great. It has such a small town welcoming vibe that was only rivaled by the genuine friendliness of the people I met. And that was just walking in the parking lot. Once inside I seated myself and ordered a double buffalo burger with a side of collard greens. Yes collard greens. The burgers come with a choice of sides and it's nice to have a non fried option. The burger was OUTSTANDING. Cooked and seasoned perfectly and served on what appeared to be a brioche bun. Next time through I will definitely be back. The only ironic thing is I was driving from Oklahoma, but had buffalo in Virginia. The food is wonderful! I've tried almost every dish on the menu & have loved them all! I think my favorite is the brisket, which is smoked on-site. Save room for dessert - the apricot nectar cake is a must! The owner, Connie, is wonderful & her staff are always friendly.
