There was NO surprise add-on charge on my invoice for shop supplies (shop towels, etc.) as some well known shops do. The price quoted is the price paid. I live out in Herriman, and drove up to Kaysville to pick up snow tires and Hooper to pick up wheels for my car. Mind you the wheels and tires were on the bed of my truck. After picking up the wheels, I decided to call them to have the tires mounted on the wheels before heading home. They gave me a quote of $80. Told them that I'll be there in 20 mins. Upon driving up to their shop, there was a Honda CRV that pulled up in front me of and the dude had snow tires in his SUV and wanted them to install the tires on his current wheels. Took them about 45 minutes to do the job for that guy. When his car was done, since we were all sitting in the lobby, the guy charged him $60 for the job. And when another guy came in wanting to do the same for his car, they quoted him $60. The tire sizes on the Honda CRV were exactly the same tire sizes for my small SUV which is a Kia Sportage (Both CRV and Sportage are in the same size class category) It made me wonder then why they're charging me $80 for my wheels and tires, mind you. They didn't even have to put my car up on the lift, take the wheels off, dismount current wheels. All they had to do was mount and balance. and they still charged me $85 (tax included). I was kind of annoyed but hey, they are a mom and pop shop so I guess I'll give them some support. After about a little over an hour, the guy came in and said my wheels were done and that they were on the back of my truck already. They were closing in 5 mins on a Friday night, so I just said thanks and left. After 65 miles of driving, I pulled to a gas station near my home, and while pumping gas, I looked at the tires and wheels. And I noticed the tires were directional, so I checked two of them and the arrow was going right, so I decided to check the other two, and the arrow on the tires were going right as well... And that is when I got upset. Since the tires are directional, the arrows on two wheels need to point right and the other two wheels need to have the arrows point left. Tires were made like that for a reason to have ultimate traction and effectiveness, if they are mounted the wrong way, then they lose their potential. These guys are a tire shop and should have known better. I thought of supporting a mom and pop shop but wow. I totally had to go to another tire shop nearby to have two of those tires dismounted and mounted pointed to the right direction. I do not recommend this place as they charged me more than other while I was there and on top of that, they mounted my tires incorrectly. I would have totally drove back to this place to have them fix it, but 130 miles round trip wasn't worth it on top of having to wait 1hour+ read more

The people in this shop are absolutely wonderful. I went in because we found a nail in our fifth wheel tire and they removed the tire, found that the nail did not penetrate far enough to be a problem, replaced the tire and did not charge a penny. I love the courteous and helpful staff and the decor is FABULOUS. I highly recommend this place. read more

This place is awesome. Great mechanic, they've been in business in this same place with the same owner for 40 years. You don't stay in business that long without being excellent. Make sure you look around the shop, it's like a museum. The owner and his son are hunters and they have tons of trophies on display including a bear. They are also collectors of many different items from yesteryear. read more

I got referred here from a friend when I was looking for a set of tires. He recommended this place because Buffalo Bro's has been taking care of his family vehicles for over 20 years. With that track record, I went and checked it out. It's definitely a small mom and pop business. The person I spoke to was John, I think. I gave him the information for the tire I wanted and he gave me the price. Since I was going up in a tire size from stock he wanted to take a look at my vehicle to see if the new tires would clear. He recommended a different brand of tire because of reports and complaints of the tire of my choice. I spoke with him at length over the pros and cons of the different tires. John was very knowledgeable and personal. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! read more

Stopped in looking for valve stem covers for my dual rear truck. They didn't have any but offered a couple suggestions where to look and said if I found them to come back and he would put them on. I finally found them and stopped by to have them put on...it's a little tough getting my fat hands in there to get them off/on. They got them on checked al my pressure and when I asked how much he shook my hand and said no charge. It was only 20 minutes or so, but I expected to pay. It's nice to see some good old fashioned customer service!! Next time you're looking for tires stop by and check them out...I know I will read more

Bought a set of 4 tires for my Toyota Tundra last year and last Friday I pulled out of my garage to discover a totally flat tire. I called John Taylor the owner of Buffalo Bothers Tires and he cam out to my house to repair and air up my tire! He told me it was part of the deal when I bought the tires, and it really is! Apparently they don't have a computer system. Some old man was rude at first until I spoke to some other guy. Took vehicle in for snow tire change out, told one tire was damaged beyond repair due to Utah roads and potholes. Took snow tire to Lea Schwaub where I bought it originally and they said damage wasn't covered under warranty because when fire was removed by Buffalo Bros last Spring they damaged the head deal on the tire, not damaged due to pot holes. Went back to Buffalo Bros and they said "that's the best we can do for you". Crappy service, why support local when they are dishonest to make a quick buck and lie. Go somewhere else more reputable. These guys are straight shooters. I took my truck to Les Schwab, and I was told the part I needed was only sold in a kit that cost $400 (not including labor). I had a feeling they were trying to get one over on me, so I went to Buffalo Brothers. Robert ordered just the part that I needed, installed it, and I was back on the road for $150, including labor. You won't see all matching teal colored polos at Buffalo Brothers. And the guy answering the phone is doing so with grease on his hands. These guys are the real deal, unlike the big box chain companies that have ridiculous corporate policies and frivolous overhead expenses. Unlike some places that try to get rich on every car that comes into the shop, Buffalo Brothers has built their business and their reputation through honesty and hard work to get repeat business.
