These were some of the best wings i have ever had! Came out fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back for these!

I came across this restaurant on yelp for our normal weekly date night. It had mixed reviews, but I am always willing to give any place the benefit of the doubt. The restaurant is in the shopping center like most places in Port St. Lucie. When you walk in you have your hostess to your left and the rows of tables to you right. We walked straight through to the back bar. It seems like a very nice ambience and casual vibe. The bar wasn't overly long, but could fit a decent amount of people. Our bartender was very friendly, but seem to have a hard time multitasking while putting in our food order. We both ordered a cocktail which came out pretty strong. Nothing is more disappointing than getting a weak drink. For our appetizer, we ordered the muscles. Between the seasoning and butter this was phenomenal. I'm even curious to add some pasta next time and make this my actual entrée. I don't think I would have been disappointed. We ordered steak for our entrée and the sides were seasonal veggies and mashed potato. This meal was pretty good, but nothing that would make me want to order this again. We also did order two side salads. Just a typical salads can't go wrong. We did share this meal because that's usually the way we order. Overall, this place was OK but unfortunately, I don't see this as our go to place for day night.

    Beef On Weck

I finally made it up to Buffalo Chophouse in Port Saint Lucie, Fl. I lived in Buffalo for many years, and this Beef on Weck is the real deal! The wings were really good too especially with the side of extra hot ghost pepper sauce, but the BOW was the star. They even get actual Costanzo's Bakery rolls from Buffalo. The fries were amazing too., crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice & laid back and I loved all of the Buffalo memorabilia. I'll definitely be coming back here!! Go Bills!!!

We went for dinner on Fryday. Crystal our server was great. We had the fried shrimp special, came with fries and coleslaw. My husband also got the wedge salad, which looked awesome, lots of crisp bacon, tomato and the wedge was a nice size, he loved it. The fried shrimp had some type breading, wasn't crisp at all sorta grease laden, luckily it didn't stay on, while the 6 shrimp were a nice size, not a hit for us. Fries were seasoned. The slaw, we could tell they do in-house (not packaged), we appreciate that and the dressing was good. The tools were nice and hot. I'm sure we'll go again.

    Always a great meal

Food cook as requested, nice experience, I rally have issues with their food and service

    Meatloaf

The 2 stars are for the fact that I did enjoy my food and the server did try her best; other than that everything fell very short and then some...first, there's only 1 server (Dee) on for Sunday lunch (running her own food, pouring her own drinks, basically running the entire restaurant which had several tables including a party of 6-7ppl) and while I can tell she is good she cannot be great because she has to do it all. The next issue is I did order 1/2 dozen wings tossed with hot and garlic Parmesan with bleu cheese on the side...I received a full order with hot only and no bleu cheese...Dee had to run back to get it for me (I also know she did make the mistake of ordering the full order, but I love wings and they'll heat up fine later...however, Dee did order them tossed in both sauces and the kitchen did not do so...I know this because I was charged an additional $1 for the double sauces on the bill). My fiancé ordered the meatloaf, and he said it was pretty flavorless...he ate it, but wasn't impressed...he did say the fries were very good. I thought the wings were really big, crispy enough and definitely juicy. The hot buffalo sauce I did try was very good... I also ordered the prime rib sandwich on the weck roll instead of the hoagie and the horsey cheddar mashed instead of fries which were Luke warm and had no signs of horseradish or cheddar to be found...the sandwich was good, the cheese was melted then you could tell it cooled down because it was kind of a blob on top. They forgot to put the garlic aioli on the sandwich and when I asked for a side Dee went to get it; we were sitting right across from the kitchen entrance and I overheard the cook say he forgot but that it was because I changed the bread choice...you forgot a key component of a sandwich because I asked for a roll instead of a hoagie...and then proceed to blame it on the customer? When Dee returned from the kitchen I let her know I heard everything that was said and she went back to let them know I did...no one came over to check in (manager wise; either from the floor or the kitchen for that matter)...very unprofessional in my opinion. We ended up boxing up 1/2 my sandwich and 3/4 of the wings for later...unfortunately my experience was tarnished by the kitchen; their lack of professionalism and their multiple mistakes... Not sure we will return after an unsatisfactory overall experience, which is a shame because I honestly did enjoy what I had eaten and I think with a better support team Dee would've been more successful serving her customers.

We saw a lot of great reviews for Sauder's Landing…read more First downside is you are required to hand over your driver's license to a security guard to enter the island. He had it for a while, God only knows what data base I'm now part of, but hey, great reviews, let's go. The guard gave my license back as well as a parking permit. Asked about the restaurant, he said drive to the stop sign and turn left. There's a row of shops and a Sauders sign. Did get a tiny bit confusing...none of the storefronts was Sauders. There was a dingy looking alley opening...found them. Walking down this dingy alley (there were three old window a/c units running up high, I mean old, tired, dirty and all three are dripping water into buckets below them on the concrete). We get to a tired residential screen door and that is the entrance. We were greeted right away. Said two for dinner. The hostess asked if we had reservations...we said no. We asked to sit inside. This is not the restaurants fault, but the marina is under construction, there are no docks or boats outside the windows, just rebar and dirt, however the windows and screens were dirty. There are dive bars and old restaurants with charm, Sauders is neither. Inside it just looks very tired and extremely dated You know how Restaurant Impossible or Bar Rescue showes usually start, with John Tapper and Robert Irving having a lot to say. They would have a lot to say at Sauder's. Carolyn, our server, lived up to the reviews that mention her. She was prompt, knew all the specials and did a good job throughout our meal. We ordered some Calemari. The batter was falling off, so if you tried to pick up a piece, you basically had a piece of squid. The marinara sauce was hot and had a good flavor. We had the shrimp linguine Alfredo. There were plenty of shrimp. Tha pasta was spaghetti, not linguine, but cooked properly. Could have had a little more sauce but tasted OK. The meal came with a salad. Everything was fresh, cold and crisp. Carolyn informed us the thousand island was made at the restaurant and it was OK. Summary...the food was ok, the dining room was tired, oh yeah, the rest rooms were behind doors rusting under their paint in that dingy alley and my wife said the one she went into was not nice. I honestly don't know how you could give this a 4 or 5 rating. If I knew what we were going to experience, I'd never give my driver's license to that guard and we would find another of the many seafood places in town. Sorry Sauder's, you need to make an investment in your business.

It's off season for Florida. I like that it's away from traffic and close to the river, but not on the river. We ordered several appetizers, Tuna stack, it was good with toast on the side. I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. Each entree is served on a thick wooden cutting board with an artful array of garnishes for maximal flavor and textures. My vegetarian board was "chefs choice" (you get what you get, no requests or options possible) and it was excellent! It basically had all the fun garnishes and veg components of the other entrees plus whole roasted sweet potato. It was so nice that the veggie board wasn't an afterthought - it had the same level of intention and detail as the regular menu items.
