On route around Boston to find good thrifts. This store def has different style of clothing and less selection of shoes I personally target, more females shoes at this location. There are two floors, so you can check out downstairs too. They seem to be constantly buying and the staff were nice and trucking around bins to put pieces out on the floor. Didnt find anything personally here but the shop is overall clean and organized. In a busy area parking on Sunday was a breeze.

Let's exchange numbers. Mine is a Buffalo number.

Do u just bring the clothes or do i Need to bring something else in order to sell it?

In order to sell, all you need is a valid government-issued ID like a Driver's License or Passport (and a parent or guardian if you're under 18). We can't accept a photo or copy of your ID, so you'll need to bring the physical ID with you. We buy… Read more

Does the selling price depends on the brand?

    Do you guys buy shoes?

Prices were very reasonable- I snagged a leather Patricia Nash bag for $20! They had good variety of sweaters, pants, skirts, accessories, and dressier items, all women's though. Located in Harvard Sq., they seem to be a pretty busy spot. Parking wasn't hard to find in this area on a Sunday. Upon entering, we were greeting by one of the workers. There was a clearance rack that they placed outside next to the entrance. Once you walk down the stairs, to your right is where most of the clothes are. Solid selection of denim & leather jackets, a little pricey compared to Goodwill/Savers but makes sense because they are more of a "vintage" clothing store. To the left of the stairs is where they have denim jeans & where you go to check out once you're finish with browsing. All sales are final like most thrift/vintage second hand shops. I found this denim jack with a brown leather collar today for $60. Thick & good quality. Lots of Wilsons leather jackets here. They also have a room with bins of clothes, for a low price, you can look through. I didn't have much luck with the bins, but seems like a lot of people did! Highly recommend.

We walked into a space that covers clothing, furniture, lamps, jewelry, vintage tech including audio equipment and cameras, and housewares. The range across those categories is genuinely broad for a store of this size. The clothing leans toward well preserved vintage pieces rather than the more chaotic mixed inventory we have seen at larger thrift chains, and the curation reflects real attention to what ends up on the floor. Jewelry is priced affordably, and the watches come with resizing and battery replacement available, a small service detail that makes the secondhand watch section more accessible than it would otherwise be. Furniture and lamps are all for sale alongside the clothing, which gives the store a layered quality that rewards slower browsing. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and condition of what is on offer, particularly given the Harvard Square location where most retail runs at a premium. For vintage shopping in Cambridge, Retrospect is the kind of place that rewards repeat visits as the inventory turns over consistently enough that something new surfaces each time.

Feels: I'm not too familiar with Boston, but I was told this is one of the original areas of the city. There are lots of businesses and apartments nearby, so the neighborhood feels lively. The shop itself is pretty vibrant and spans two floors. They carry a wide range of apparel--from vintage pieces to newer items and even costumes. Customer Service: Awesome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall: 5 stars. They had exactly what I needed, right when I needed it. If you're looking to refresh your wardrobe on a budget or find some unique costume pieces, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. Tip: Check out their "by the pound" section--you can score some really great deals there.

Instead, Garment D. Is Organized, spotless and straight-up vibey. Two full floors to roam. Hot-pink walls, black-and-white checkerboard floors like stepping into an 80s music video. It's quirky, loud and proudly vintage. Everything's sorted with precision: pants with pants, denim with denim, tops with tops. These folks don't play around. And yeah, the majority of the clothing here is all use. But like I always do- I buy my stuff, take it home (or the cleaners), wash it and it snaps back looking like new. By the way- they do carry some new items- as in not used as well. My daughter and I bought some vintage denims, sweaters and a few other things. Zero mess. Zero stress. 100% unexpected.
