Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. The chairs are wide and overstuffed, and the tables are just the right height. It's a, "have another bite" atmosphere. There are long prayers coming from the speakers. Even a non-Arabic speaker like me knows that, "Bismillah" doesn't rhyme! The better half's take on his kebab? "This is the best lamb I've ever had!". I thought the shwarma and fries were great, but the hummus served with warm pita, some fruity, green olive oil, and a sprinkling of sumac/ za'atar really knocked it out of the park. I was dipping my fries in it! We ended the meal with a long slice of pistachio backlava. Oh, so good!

The fried shrimp skewer; it's five or six good sized fried shrimp on a skewer for $2.99. Literally the best deal in town! The main draw for me is the freshly fried chicken tenders. These aren't your typical frozen-to-fried corner store (or bar menu) chicken tenders. These are a million times better, and cost half as much. They're using fresh, never frozen, hand breaded tenders here...and you can definitely tell the difference. The menu is pretty diverse. Everything we've tried so far has been delicious. The prices are good enough that we will order again regularly, especially when I have a chicken tender craving. Also!
