The location is really small and it's annoying that there's no bathroom for customers. Normally I would not have minded waiting but it started to feel a little ridiculous after 45min for some wings when there was only one other person ahead of us. The food was good and we really enjoyed it. The wings were great but the fries were a bit of let down. I chalked up to an off night. I'll be back for sure since we don't get to have Wingstop often. I'm hoping when we return, it's better than the our first time.

This time was empty and I still had to wait at the counter to pick up my order while they chatted in the back. Noone came to me until one noticed I rolled my eyes. My order was wrong, I was shorted four wings and the wings I got they messed the sauces up. The fries were in the bag, uncovered and not in a container. Thank god the bag didn't fall over other wise my seasoned fries would of been everywhere. Not sure I understand why they are packaged like that? The boneless wings were over cooked but I did give them one more star as their ranch is good the corn was good and the sauces on the overcooked boneless wings were good. The wings were flavorless even with a seasoning on them, how does that happen?

They were the best fingers I've had: tender, crispy, and packed with flavor. A single order comes with five large fingers, which is more than enough for two people. Their Beef on Weck is also a Buffalo classic done right. The beef was tender and flavorful, and there was horseradish on the table, which is exactly how it should be. Those favorites are also featured on small framed boards around the walls, which adds to the local charm. The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. The wings were ordered Medium Hot which they warn you is "Very Hot"... but it isn't. They were good, but next time I will order Hot because there was little to no burn. The fries were the frozen variety but nice, skinny and crispy. I liked dipping them in the leftover wing sauce. Next time, I will skip the sandwich and just get wings and fries. Hopefully it won't take me 5 years to come back.

I loved all the sauces we tried (saucy hot cajun, medium, and garlic parm). The wings were perfectly crisp, and the steak pizza had a ton of flavor. Definitely a heavier meal, but if you're bringing someone from out of town who wants great wings, this is a spot worth taking them to.

Some friends, my husband and I came here for dinner a couple weeks back when visiting the area, and…read morefound both hits and misses. The service was very good and it's a cute spot that I'd be willing to come back to. The best thing we had BY FAR were the beef croquettes. These were perfect, and I could have made a meal out of them. They had a tender birria like shredded meat inside with some cheese and probably some potato, I can't even remember but I do remember that everyone loved these. We also ordered asparagus, the Korean Fried Chicken, the shrimp with potatoes (all small plates) and one of my friends ordered the duck entree. My husband and friends had cocktails and mocktails; I didn't order one because they said they had nothing that was sweet. Incidental pet peeve: Saying "all our cocktails are balanced". I get it, you want to brag. But, some of us like things that are sweet, or as in the case of one of my friends, decidedly NOT sweet. If all of your cocktails are balanced the same way, it gives little useful info on what to order. I will respond to this by NOT ordering and sticking to tap water. I'd prefer it if you have a little something sweet and a little something not-sweet on the menu for those of us who don't actually want "perfectly balanced". That said, I did have a sip of the cocktails the others ordered. To my surprise, I liked the Broken Garden Tools. Though it wasn't particularly sweet it was also not super sour/tart and it was refreshing. I *could* have ordered that one, but I never would have known it from the description. I didn't like any of the others I tasted, but I can't remember what those were. Since I don't like whisky and I prefer sweet drinks, don't take this to mean that they don't have good drinks - the others enjoyed theirs, they just weren't to MY taste. Of the other dishes, I liked the cabbage that was on my friend's duck plate (I didn't try the duck). The asparagus was fine. The shrimp and potatoes was ok but not as good as I'd hoped for. And honestly, I didn't love the KFC. It didn't seem to be twice-fried and super crispy like KFC should be, and the sauce to me wasn't balanced between the sweet and spicy flavors I prefer. However, my husband liked it very well. The only other thing I'd caution is to double check ingredients. There was a dish ordered (I can't remember which now, some kind of bread maybe, but not listed as a bruschetta) that said it contained rosemary among other things but did not list basil. We saw no rosemary at all, but a lot of basil, which I can't eat. So I didn't have any. The others shared it. I would have been more disappointed had it been my selection. My friend noted that the server did not ask us about any food allergies, which, if your menu doesn't accurately list its contents, is problematic. Fortunately I know what basil looks like so no harm done. All in all, I would return, get lots of croquettes, order a Broken Garden Tools, and maybe try some other things we didn't get to. But I'd double check all the ingredients.

Instead, the place felt more like a cavernous tourist stop than the legendary wing destination I had imagined. The wings were good, but not great. We ordered them dry so we could try several sauces. The wings were cooked perfectly. The sauces, however, were underwhelming. We tried the garlic parmesan, the original, and the extreme heat sauce, which I believe used to be was called "Suicidal." They all seemed to rely almost entirely on cayenne and butter, with limited complexity and less heat than expected. Maybe I've been spoiled by other wing spots with more creative sauces and better blue cheese and ranch, but these just didn't stand out. That said, the service was great, and I appreciated the staff. I'm glad I went for the history, but based on the food alone, it didn't live up to the hype. I will not go back.
