I've had food from here multiple times and it's always the best. I've gotten take out and eaten there, each time it's always fast and delicious! They are also always super nice there as well :)

Almaza Grill is excellent. My favorite thing to get is the chicken shawarma wrap and za'atar fries. Also love their mint tea. It's VERY good. And the rice pudding is made with rose water! The decor is cute too. The colors are warm and inviting. It's family owned and operated and service is always fast and friendly. Sometimes when I don't feel like cooking I get their rotisserie chicken family dinner and it comes with pita and sides. And it tastes like homemade. Not "restaurant food". Mmm. I should get some rotisserie chicken this week.

Amazing food. Awesome portions and presentation. Charismatic and genuine service. Will be back again and again.

    Vegetarian Combo and Mujadara plate

The Almaza Grill menu satisfied meat lovers as well as vegetarians--In fact options were plentiful for each. To start, our group shared the vegetarian sample plate, plus more dawali (rice stuffed grape leaves) and tabouli eaten with a tender pita. Then we followed with a shared entree of BBQ'd chicken and rice while the vegetarian in our group enjoyed the Mujadara plate made up of Lebanese cucumber salad, rice, lentils and crispy fried onions. The flavors were sharp and tasty, and distinctively fresh. The servings were abundant with two of us bringing home food enough for lunch tomorrow. The service was attentive and competent. Almaza is a casual strip mall location but the food is fancy restaurant worthy! I would highly recommend Almaza Grill.

Pita with garlic sauce, Tabouleh side and vegetable rice side

Continuing my tour of restaurants hidden away in plazas - Almaza Grill did NOT disappoint. I came in without any idea of what I wanted and the waitress was super helpful with recommendations. I settled on the 1/4 chicken with 2 sides. You're given a rather large serving of pita bread and their delicious garlic sauce when you sit down. The tabouleh was freshly made. It was marinated just enough where the flavors were perfect and it wasn't soggy. The vegetable rice was filled with green olives (my favorite) and was light and fluffy. I opted for all white chicken, which was so juicy and was just cooked so perfectly. the sides were so big. You'd consider sharing if you had two people. I also ordered a lentil soup with feta to go and reheated the next day was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back .

. When you walk in you smell the deliciousness especially if they are roasting chicken at that time! This trip we missed out, shucks! We shared a whole chicken and two sides of your choice. The. Chicken taste very good but the white meat was a tad dry I needed to dip it in the delicious garlic sauce. The dark meat was awesome ( I know dark is always moist) the sides were good! Friendly service will keep returning !

Decided to try this Lebanese Restaurant in a strip plaza on Transit Road in East Amherst. The owner waited on us and was very pleasant. The only trouble was, it was a Friday night and the restaurant got quite busy. Our water glasses never were refilled, a must for me! Now for the food. We ordered the whole Rotisserie Chicken with four sides. Didn't care for the salad or the Baba Gannouj. The bean side dish were average. The Rotisserie Chicken was moist however I think it had been cooked and reheated. The only horrible thing was the rice pudding., which my wife ordered, ate a spoonful and in the garbage it went. I thought the prices were reasonable and the food, with the Lebanese slices, was worth a try.

This place was on my list of places to try for a long time. When one of my other foodie friends wanted to meet up for lunch, we both almost instantly agreed on going here. The place has good ambiance for both small and large groups. A good variety of food for both meat eaters and vegetarians and delivers on the taste and service. The owner was taking the orders himself and was gracious enough to explain every detail to us. I not only enjoyed my Shakshuka and sofritas (not the Chipotle one) rice but absolutely loved their Tiramisu. I was skeptical to order an Italian dessert at a Mediterranean place but the owner strongly recommended it, so I went for it. Thank goodness I did, because it was one of the best Tiramisu I had had in a long time! My friends tried their cheesecakes but the Tiramisu was the King! Final takeaway, no matter what entree you get, end it with a nice slice of Tiramisu.

    Almaza a Lebanese Cuisine

Almaza is actually called Almaza a Lebanese Cuisine now, so when you drive up to it that's what the sign will say. I saw some delicious looking pictures of their food which of course I had to share with my parents. My phone rang a few days later and who was it but my beloved parents wondering if I would be interested in going to try Almaza ?!?! Well of course I would!!! When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Mossa, the young man who is the owner, and seated us at a booth by the window. We were given menus, the kind of menus that make it very difficult to pick. Because well you want to try everything!!! And there were plenty of things to pick from for vegetarian, vegan and meat eaters alike. So it's a good place for eclectic families. We started with the sampler platter of baba ganoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves and falafel. All of which were very good. But I personally really prefer my baba ganoush to have a lot of egg plant and very little tahini or hummus, and this didn't really have enough for me. Everything else was very good and there was a large basket of pita served with enough that we didn't need to ask for any extra. I ordered a falafel wrap but with yogurt, cucumber and garlic sauce instead of tahini or hummus. It was perfect. There were pickles for tang and the pita wrap wasn't so thick that you had to take some off. If there were tomatoes on it I think it would have kicked it up a notch, but next time I'll just ask for some. I came with seasoned French fries which were a wonderful addition. And a generous portion. In fact I managed to get two meals out of the sandwich and fries. Then one parent ordered the chicken shawarma wrap. It was moist and real chicken, not the sheets of meat that you sometimes get as shawarma. It also came with a generous portion of seasoned fries. The other parent ordered Beef Kafka rolls. It came with a large serving of rice with toasted almonds sautéed onions and fresh herbs. And two dipping sauces. Also very generous portions enough for him to take half home for dinner. Everything was deemed delicious! Finally we earned desert. We had to try the rice pudding because.... Well you have to! And we had to try the sampler of baklava.... Because you simply must! The rice pudding is thick and sweet as opposed to the type in Indian restaurants which is soupier. They also made it topped with shredded coconut. Sweeter than most I've had but good regardless. The baklava was wonderful. It was an assortment including the ones with pistachio and cashews. And the traditional walnut. They were excellent, not dripping with honey and not too sweet just right. A definite take home an extra container or two. The overall experience was really warm and inviting. Moosa has clearly become well loved by the community and I could easily see why. There were people coming in and out getting lunch or eating in, that were obviously regulars. He definitely makes you feel like you belong there with his warm smile and the delicious food keeps you coming back. If you are in the area for sure drop in and have a meal and finish it with some Arabic coffee!!! If you're not in the area... go to the area and try it !!!!

I'm not even lying. Lol After 5 long indecisive minutes of scrolling Yelp and reading reviews, I found Nana's (insert heart emoji here)! Nana's serves a perfectly light, crispy battered fish fry along with nicely salted crinkle cut fries, a lightly seasoned toasted pita and a Greek salad instead of the traditional Cole slaw and potato salad sides we Buffalonians are accustomed to. Nana's you have stolen my heart, I can't wait to come back again! * I'd love to give Nana's 5 stars but this review is based off a takeout experience. I wasn't sure about the potatoes so she offered me a sample and that sold me on the The Dinner but I got double potato instead of rice. Everything was quite delicious but my only issue is the portion size of grilled chicken and dill sauce. For the price, I would have liked four strips instead of the two small ones and an ounce more of the dipping sauce. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely try again!
