If you look up this place on social media, you'll see that they actually have "& Curiosities" in their name - that's appropriate because they have quite a bit that I would simply call "curiosities." Prices range from "great deal" to WTF?" It seems like when I've been here, I've always seen quite a bit that falls into mid-century. That's kind of appropriate considering an awful lot of SoBro would fall into that era (including my home - a 1955 California ranch). People are friendly and knowledgeable. Indoors, more of the same but add into the mix older home decor, floral arrangements, posters, knives, small pieces of furniture, several restored traffic lights, life size movie and TV cardboard characters, lot of old video cassettes and more. The owners were friendly, not overly talkative and allowed us to browse at our own speed and not hover. Again, I felt many of the items were overpriced with a few exceptions. The two restored traffic lights were a great deal and my husband always checks out traffic lights. All-in-all, cute little store worth checking out if your into antiques, vintage, distressed and restored items. I visited Cherry Canary around Halloween season, and there were a lot of people stopping by to look for pieces for their costumes. Like a good vintage store, the clothing racks are jam-packed with clothes, so it's a little overwhelming to go through everything. But that's a good thing -- it just means they have a lot of stuff and a big selection. Everything is displayed tastefully, and they have a section for men's clothes and one for women's. They have little dressing rooms for you to try on the clothes, too, but be aware that the lighting in the dressing rooms is very dim.
