Erika is helping my mother select a suitable granite or quartz for the new countertop in her kitchen. She's got great insight into what works well together with your cabinet color, backsplash and overall decor style. Erika is patient as well. She welcomed us back to look again as many times as needed. She wants us to be totally satisfied we've picked the right material and style for our remodel project. We will be back! This is a fun process, a bit mind-boggling. So much to pick from, various looks, something for every taste. We are contracting with a cabinet refacing business that works exclusively with Buffalo Granite and Marble. I think they have a good rapport with each other to make the total remodel "a beautiful thing" when all is said and done. I foresee this four star review will soon be upgraded to five stars. We worked through a contractor who recommended Buffalo Granite so we didn't "shop" our purchase. I had previously looked into granite on my own and can say without a doubt, Buffalo Granite has great pricing. As a customer,I know I require patience because I am a bit of a control freak. I made multiple calls and trips to Buffalo Granite to ask questions and look at the stone I had chosen. Each time, Erica was gracious and never made me feel like I was causing her extra work. Exceptional experience, top-to-bottom. Spoke to the owner, the customer service representative, the scheduler, the pick-up guys, the template-guy, and the installers, and had great experiences with all. A few details: I recently occupied a Buffalo condo unit within which a competing Clarence firm supplied and installed a vast amount of expensive marble countertop. I needed to have a section of this marble cut-to-size and re-installed at another location within the same unit. The competing firm said they were not technically able to accomplish this task. So in the end, I freed the marble myself with a Dremmel Saw, and BUFFALO MARBLE AND GRANITE from Tonawanda came in, picked up the 20 square foot slab, cut it, and re-installed it without incident, at a reasonable price, and with the friendliest customer service you could possibly imagine. These counters better be amazing. They are super friendly and helpful but 11 weeks is a loooong time to wait for installation. A long time. Too long. I wish i had shopped around and not just accepted that 8-10 weeks was how long these things take. Or even that it was more like 8 weeks and not closer to 12. I am not even excited about my kitchen being finished anymore. I am over it and wish i never even started. read more

Let me state that if I had an iota of the idiocracy that I would have to deal with in regards to installation and the subsequent customer service that I then received from Buffalo Granite and Marble I never in a million years would have allowed this company into my home. On 4/19/2017 it was determined that two of the four pieces of granite ordered were incorrectly templated by Buffalo Granite and Marble, resulting in the installers inappropriately cutting my island topper to size within my residence. This caused my house to fill with micro particles of granite creating a layer of dust over my new electronics, furniture, appliances and flooring. I spent over $11,000 on new Bose, LG Appliances, lighting fixtures and furniture only to have the owner of Buffalo Granite and Marble treat my expenditures like they were meaningless and the money I spent was inconsequential. Yes, I did receive an apology from Paul who was sympathetic to the fact that his installers were sub-par. The apology while appreciated did nothing for the fact that I spent hours over several days cleaning walls, woodwork, furniture, light fixtures and electronics. The apology will also do nothing should my brand new electronics fail due to the fine layer of granite that now resides inside of them. My installation was delayed for approximately 8 weeks while I repeatedly waited on call backs from the owner to discuss the issue. My ask was for $1000.00 off the total of the approximately $4000.00 spent at Buffalo Granite and Marble OR for BGM to be responsible for any failure of my Bose and LG appliances for 36 months. After much delay it was a "no" to both. A small amount of money was instead removed from my total invoice. I accepted the terms only because I wanted my renovation completed. Believe me I resented handing any money whatsoever to this company, who I felt could care less about my issue and more about the profit they were making from the job. I work in an industry where I calculate profit and loss on a daily basis and know from experience that if you take a loss on one job, you can certainly make the margin up over another. Save yourselves the headache, the anxiety, the sweat equity when you have to clean up after them and spend your hard earned cash with another company. I have worked with Buffalo Granite & Marble for 2 kitchen remodels now, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Last year was the first time I had done a kitchen remodel, and I was a little overwhelmed. With so many options out there figured I would be making a lot of trips shopping around, going from place to place for quotes and to look at selections. Buffalo Granite & Marble was the first and last place I stopped. Not only do they have a wonderful selection of different stones, but their staff is so knowledgeable, polite and professional. Every time I called or stopped in I was greeted warmly and was always made to feel so comfortable throughout theprocess. I received a quote within a day of my first visit, the price was great and I decided to go with a brand new stone they had just gotten in stock. The men who came to install the countertops were so friendly. They were careful, clean and they did a wonderful job. Because of the layout & size of my kitchen I needed to have a seam in my countertops. I was a little nervous about having the seam, but it turned out great; I didn't even notice it until they pointed it out!
