I visited the establishment on John Haskins Parkway. I order a 12pc wing & mozzarella sticks. Upon receiving my order, I didn't check to ensure accuracy. Wish I would have, upon arriving back home, I realized that I didn't receive my mozzarella sticks. After calling, I was told I could come back or they could credit me. I asked what could be done for my inconvenience, & was told by a manager best he could do was a free order of fries. Just keep the mozzarella sticks & the fries, I will not visit nor recommend anyone to visit this establishment!!! read more

BWW is great for watching a big or small sporting event. TVs everywhere. They also have trivia which can get really addictive. Great selection of beers and a friendly knowledgeable wait staff. The food however is very bland. The amount of fries you get with a burger is less then minimal. It has "wings" in the name and those are pretty good. This place is for entertainment not a good meal. read more

Good food, good view of the games on TV. A bit dark, but once sit for a minute, your eyes adjust. The server was very friendly and prompt with getting our orders. Loved the team work of the servers. Terrible experience. Main dining room 3/4 empty but said would be 15-20 minutes or we could sit at the bar area. Alright we went to bar area and waitress took drink orders and promptly came back and spilled an entire tray of drinks basically on me. Are you kidding me??? This was on the night of the Super Bowl 2015 (one of the busiest days of the year) and I got WRONGLY accused by the GM for changing the channels. My friends and I have been coming to the Hoover Buffalo Wild wings for the past 7+ years as loyal customers and I have never been so ashamed and embarrassed here before. The GM just comes straight to our table with no hesitation and tells us we have to leave immediately without providing any explanation until I got in his face and told him why we were being kicked out. Then he says we have been changing the channels on the TVs which I didn't know was possible until now. He caused a scene in front of everyone there. Then he had the audacity to dig through my phone in order to look for the app which is a breach of my privacy. Average, average, average. I've been here many times and the experience is consistently average. When the place is busy, drinks can take a while to make it to your table. The food isn't particularly memorable. Most of the food is overpriced, especially if you aren't buying whatever their special is that night (boneless Thursdays, etc). You can count on getting cheap domestics on draft; Just ask what the special is. That being said though, it is still a good place to watch just about any sporting event. Be aware that this is Alabama, though, so if you want to watch soccer or tennis and there is football (or an Atlanta Braves game, etc) on, there will be a very limited number, if any, TVs showing what you want. And getting someone to change a TV for you, especially when there are "bigger" events going on can be challenging. The fact that most of the waitresses are good looking doesn't hurt, but the fact that many of them seem to have a bit of an attitude does. So in a word, average. read more

The reason why I'm not giving the place 5 stars is because the wings breading was sort of hard and there wasn't a lot of sauce on the wings. They... They forgot about me.. I asked to sit outside (in front of the restaurant) and had a number of waiters walk by me serving other tables and nothing. Not a wave, smile, not even a beverage. I did get a fork and a menu, but those aren't edibles. So there I waited. For 15-20 minutes... When one of the waiters dared ask me if anyone had attempted to serve the starving patron in front of their restaurant by the front entrance. I puckered up my face in the best Obama frown possible and replied with a simple shake. He then took it upon himself to take my order. Good for him. He tossed on a free app for the wait (2 points now) and quickly took my order. I received said order (while enjoying a tasty beverage brought to me by the fine gentleman) and my ticket was given. Food was delivered directly from kitchen with no silverware (salad) and had to go find another waiter to bring it. Absolutely no water refills. There is much to be desired in service. I have been to the BWW in Hoover several times over the last few years and the food is terrible, it is so noisy you can't talk to anyone and the waitresses are hard to come by. I met a couple of friends there last Thursday night and ordered 6 of the boneless wings at 60 cents each and was told that ranch dressing in a very small cup would be another 40 cents. The boneless wings were cold and hard as a rock. One was Inedible and should never have been served. It took us a long time to get the attention of the waitress and even longer to get a beverage. There are a lot better places to spend your money than BWW. A large glass of draft beer is $3.75 or close to 4.00 with tax. The food and service are a lot better at Bob Baumhowers Wings up the street. read more

Throughout the school year, I had overheard conversations, hearing people say, "Let's go to B-Dubs tonight!" and in other cases, "Dude B-Dubs was hardcore awesome last night!" My expectations were high. Several friends and I finally decided, "Okay! This is the night! We're going to Buffalo Wild Wings!" And so we went. We sat down and were quickly greeted with a smiling face. The man, who was named "AJ", suggested the wings. We trusted his judgment and ordered said wings. The wings were put in front of me. The aroma flowed through my nostrils. I picked the first wing up, took a bite, and slowly placed it back down. I leaned back in my seat, and a single tear rolled down my cheek. I looked at my chums and they at me, and we all slowly wept. Never before had we felt such a feeling of betrayal. The agony of this experience was close to being too much to bear. We paid our checks, tipped well, and departed, completely distraught. I do not foresee my friends and I to return to this establishment anytime soon, God help us if we do. read more

I remember when good service and good portions where served here. I've been coming here for years and I live within a mile. Over the past couple months the place has really gone downhill. My wings where tiny and had no sauce. The young lady serving me was rude and didn't come to check on us at all. I waited 30 minutes to get my order taken because of her talking to a group of guys. Ive been coming to this location for years.. never had any problems. Today, I brought my sister, who was from out of town. I convinced her to try it out. We both ordered a bahama mama drink. She asked for our IDs. Im 30. My sister is almost 40. She forgot hers. The waitress (Ashley) came back to our table with only ONE drink.. like there was some misunderstanding. She NEVER said "I cant bring you a drink or cant serve you" Instead she beats around it. Says nothing and bring one drink out!?! So I shared some with my sister because i didnt want her to hate the place before she could really try it because this server was giving us such a hard time.. and I didn't want to order food at this point because I rarely get carded myself and it wasnt worth all the extra nonsense. So, a few mins later I am then greeted by the store manager Garrett who says, "If she drinks anymore of your drink we're going to have to ask you to leave." I MEAN seriously??? It honestly feel it's because i am hispanic! We are clearly old enough! We are proud LEGAL business owners in this area and ive never felt so discriminated against. I am sad to say how disappointed i am in the service and management I experienced today and I wont be returning. read more

TV situation is unmatched. Seating in the bar area can be a challenge for big events but if you get in the experience for watching big games or fights is outstanding. Service is hit and miss though it's hit more often than miss. Pretty good drink selection though they really do need to evolve to a current craft beer strategy. Theirs sucks. The food really brings the place down and that's a shame. If the food were even marginal BWW would be almost ideal. But.....it's not. Wings are ok and that is their bread and butter so if you only ever want to eats wings then you're in fair shape. If you prefer to go off script be prepared to be disappointed. The appetizers can be decent though not always and the entrees are a mess. Burgers taste like soybean meat. Fries usually come out luke warm at best. Chicken sandwich is dry and tasteless. You get the idea. Main dining room has tv's everwhere as well however if you don't have kids with you and don't particularly enjoy the wonderful volume and lovely language of large family sets with kids then you'll probably want to do what we always do and make a beeline for the bar. I've only sat in the dining room for work lunches. After working hours it is unacceptable. For me anyway. Much better food at Baumhowers down the street but man BDubs has the TV thing worked all the way out. Peace. read more
