What a fun dinner! We finally got to try Oteys and it did not disappoint. Tables are first come first serve and a waitress quickly took our drink orders. There is often live music which was fun. It is very family friendly and kids are welcomed to play and get their sillies out which I appreciate. Food was good. I got a burger and onion rings and the onion rings were my favorite! Burger was cooked correctly. They have a good menu selection and loved the price of the kids food. Definitely will be going back!

Yep, they dust mid service. The guy had finished over our table before I could get my phone out.

I have been here for lunch a couple of times now for The Work Week Lunch Deal - Standard Burger (or…read more6 wings), Side , Soda/Tea for $13.49. A really good deal! Seated immediately and ready to take your order as soon as you decide. The Standard Burger (Lettuce. tomato, onion, pickles, horsey sauce & american cheese) is really good. Fries are cooked just right. Previously I got a mix of the Fries and Onion Rings. Onion Rings are great too! I have had The Three Hander sandwich (Niman ranch corned beef, fries, tomato, jalapenos, creamy slaw, dijonaise, mozzarella on sourdough) from their original location which is great too. I should probably try other things as well but the lunch deal is hard to pass up. Since it is not too far from my office, will definitely continue to be a part of my regular lunch rotation. Only downside for me is the parking. There are limited spots on the street out front. Adjacent to the building there is a lot that is part of the apartment complex behind it but not really enough spaces for the 2 restaurants.

The location is connected to a Mexican restaurant with arcades separating the two. The atmosphere…read moreis family friendly and very upbeat. The staff was friendly and patient as I forgot my readers so a lot of questions were asked. Thank you Andreana. We had the tenderloin (which I haven't had in YEARS). I was not disappointed. We also had the southerner and it was tasty. They had a happy hour where I got a wine and husband got a frozen drink. Then round 2 I opted for the daily drink, daiquiri. Each day there is a different drink as a special. I enjoyed the music and the vibe. Would come back to this place when I'm in Birmingham again.

Stir Crazy - Super nice crowd. Beware Tuesday and Thursday just might be a night of music that you really really don't want to hear.

I was traveling home from out of town and found this bar along my route. It was getting late so I…read morecalled to confirm their business hours. I got an automated message that said to leave a message and my call would be returned as soon as possible. I thought maybe the bar was busy and they didn't have time to answer, no big deal. Upon my arrival I noticed a very low selection of liquor, draft beer, or customers. The only customers I saw in the bar were two people playing pool. I asked the bartender about tequila. He asked me if I wanted a shot without telling me what was available or if that's what i wanted, which makes me think there is not much of a selection. Before I could ask what type of tequila there was to drink or ask what type of mixers the bar had, which I don't think there was much mixers to choose from by how empty the bar looked, the bartender then proceeded to ask me if I was "messed up". I drink rarely and take no medication. At this moment I hadn't had a drink in short of a week. He then proceeded to tell me that I was slurring my words, although that was definitely not true. He refused to serve me. I've been to bars all across the United States and this is the first time I've ever been refused to be served, especially before my first drink. He didn't ask how I was doing, if I was meeting friends, if i was planning on driving home, or getting a ride from someone. The bartender decided I was "messed up" within 30 seconds of me being in the bar. If a bartender can't tell the difference between someone who is 110% sober and "messed up", while making that decision within 30 seconds of a customer entering the bar, then that bartender should be looking for a new profession. I'm not quite sure if he was insinuating that I had been drinking, taking to much medication,or using recreational drugs, but none was the case. Maybe this is the type of bar where people often arrive to inebriated to get served or the bartender prefers locals and refuses service to others.I'm not certain this is the situation, but regardless it's extremely unprofessional and the bartender was absolutely wrong and unjustified. I will never be returning to this establishment and would recommend avoiding this bar. The next time I'm in this town I'll be sure to go elsewhere. I wouldn't return to this bar if it was the only one in town!

Thankfully, our server was able to explain everything and made it easy to understand. I ordered the egg rolls, wings, pretzels, bacon Brussels sprouts, and a margarita. The Brussels sprouts weren't pictured, but they were SO good! Everything came out fresh, hot, and surprisingly quick. The drinks were also perfect and came out quickly. The wings were good, just a little on the thicker side, and the ranch was AMAZING! It had a different flavor than your typical ranch, but it was really good. Even though the restaurant was super crowded and busy, our server did a great job making sure both myself and my guest were taken care of. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Seated immediately by the Friendly staff. After a bit of trying to decide, I settled on the Basically Famous Fried Chicken Finger Plate with side of Regular Tots (instead of the Parmesan Truffle) and Street Corn. I had intended to save a couple of the chicken pieces and some of the tots for lunch the next day. But it was so good I ate it all! Even though parking can be a little challenging at the SoHo area, I consistently can find an available space in the underground parking garage. While I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, they need a lunch menu with smaller portions and pricing for me to come back more often.
