There is no local secret here, just good service, sporty surroundings and great wings. This place is almost always busy, but they know how to move so you probably wont wait long. Buffalo Wild Wings knows who they are. This location felt more like a "breastaurant" then some of the other locations, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. As always I appreciate the dry rubs and great selection of sauces. With the salad it was a little pricey at ~$20, but everything was perfect and the service was friendly and fast. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this was just a horrible experience. First of all, I walk into restaurant and there a 30 minute wait so I decide to go to the bar. The bartender asks for my ID and would not accept my temporary paper ID. I tried to talk to her boss and explain that I just moved back to Texas and got a new ID and that my hard copy is in the mail. The boss would not take it so then I had to wait another 30 minutes to get seated. I was at that point already wanting to leave, however, I really wanted some wings. Once seated, my waitress quickly took my order. I ordered boneless wings with three different flavors. When served they only thing correct was two flavors. I was served bone wings totally missing my third flavor I ordered. Probably my worst experience at a Buffalo Wild Wings!! read more

My group came into Buffalo Wild Wings, Carlsbad, NM. We went to Milton brewery before and had 2-3 beers each (great brewery). When we got bww a few of us went to the bar to get a shot while our table was getting ready. Since there was 13 of us, they had to push tables together in the bar area, which they were very upset about. They made us move our own tables. Once a waiter came to us, they promptly told us we were too intoxicated to order alcohol. Non of us we're drunk, but even more, just minutes before they gave out shots. The employees here are lazy. They got mad that we moved tables and refused to serve us because of it. read more

The whole family went here to get some good wings. All the food was good, we got salads, burgers, & both bone-in/out wings. Everyone liked their food & the service was great. We went in right before the dinner rush so we didn't have to wait for a table. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a long while. when to get some wings and a beer I prefer to sit at the bar usually at a place like this as I was by myself. bar seating was full but only 30% of the tables/booths were occupied. with no seating available at the bar I asked for a table and was told it would be a 45-60 minute wait. unbelievable! Been going to BWW for many years across the country. Came to this store expecting the usual cold beer and hot wings with hopefully decent waitstaff. Ordered two tall Wild Herd pilsner and a basket of boneless wings. We also ordered onion rings before the basket arrived. We noted the dirt under the waiters fingernails and his grimy personal appearance and almost left before the food came. They were very busy, with very very loud music aimed at a 20ish crowd. When the food arrived (40 minutes), wings were cold, had the wrong sauce on them, no celery, and no onion rings. After another 40 minutes to wait for the food, we decided to move to the bar, since all we were able to do was drink anyways and were refused to be served, since our tab was open at a table. We tried to close it there and were refused and told we had to go sit and wait. We left $20 on the table for the 4 beers and left, never to return to that BWW! read more

We go back, receive no apology, and wait for our food again. In the meantime, they take the 30 wings back and the manager says "just throw them away." My husband overheard it and when the girl came back, he said "if you're just going to throw those away, I'll just pay you for them." She said too late, already in the trash. This place is such a hit or miss. I give a four star average because we've had 5-star dine ins but also we've had 3-star dine in's but often times I feel the staff is just overwhelmed as they are sometimes limited in available staffing but I feel like that is just a given in living in a smaller town sometimes as I feel this is something that many of the restaurants in Carlsbad are affected by. Nonetheless I've never been a huge fan of Buffalo Wild Wings in any other city I've been in but for some reason, the Hot Spicy Garlic sauce I've gotten here on my traditional wings just really blew me away. It was so spicy yet I could not stop eating it. It was nearly an addiction and I was drowning every piece in ranch and yet still could not stop eating until all 10 wings were gone. I also really love the type of fries they have here... they are thinner and crispy yet soft in the middle and I really enjoy dipping the French fries in the wing sauce and ranch! read more

Jordyn; one of the servers as of March 13th 2019 has strep throat and is a hostess. I would recommend staying away from her. I learned this from a separate coworker. The wait time is unreasonable because they have EMPTY tables yet a full lobby. They will tell you 20 minutes at first...then you ask again and they'll say another 20 minutes...yet people who got there AFTER you are being seated. Tonight we wanted to watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs during dinner and decided to try BWW again. I have to say I am excited to have a good restaurant in Carlsbad! The food was excellent! The service, impeccable (Dustin)! A mistake in our order was fixed before we even realized it. The manager (Brooke) brought the correct food to our table, introduced herself and apologized for the mix-up.
