Went to this Bdubbs because it was one of the only restaurants in Carlsbad open after 9pm on a Saturday. We were quickly seated and service was fine. Was disappointed to find that they were out of the black bean burger, but I ended up being happy with chicken wings and a salad. It appears that this is the place to be on a Saturday night in Carlsbad, as the restaurant was lively and full of people, especially tuning in to the WWE fight happening on TV. Was a fun experience to see. It was also fun to play the BWW trivia while we ate our wings. Not a ton of options in Carlsbad, but BWW is there when you need it. read more

This was the only bad Buffalo Wild Wings. There were dozens and dozens of tables open, but the workers didn't let us in, so we had to wait for a while outside. Also, there was barely any wing sauce on our wings when we got them. Finally, the food took maybe an hour to come out. Don't come here, go to another place. read more

The food is good, which is not hard since this is a chain restaurant. The service 3 of 4 times was absolutely horrible. I went there tonight 1/17/16 and the hostess did not notify me that the table is ready and just crossed us off. Manager said no one came when buzzed, were never buzzed. Waited 45 minutes for nothing. Manager did not seem to care that no one cared to follow up or call my name as well when I said we were not buzzed. I would not go here at all if there was not a great draft beer selection. We popped in last Saturday night when the Raptors beat the Cavs during the NBA finals. The place was popping, and lots of cute guys ladies! I am not a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings due to so many past experiences in Texas & Florida. Due to quality of food. This location was very clean, and our waitress was so sweet & on top of things. The food was sooooo good! The wings were fresh you could tell this chef didn't make huge batches and just pop them back in fryer to warm them up. They were fresh wings & the queso was sooooo yummy! Finally Buffalo Wild Wings queso that was thick & the meat was fresh not week old meat. Fried Mushrooms instead of fries were straight money. Our waitress & her peers seemed to all work together as a team. Love seeing that as well. Thank you for finally making me understand why people love buff wild wings. Great service. We came in on Easter as a family of 5. As a former server I am always picky about service. They were down on staff and still managed to seat us as quickly as possible. Our waitress was very friendly and patient with our dietary restrictions. (Vegetarian) they ran out of black bean burgers and still accommodated me. This is a review based on service, cleanliness, and atmosphere. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants usually but this one gets 5 stars bc of friendly and quick service under stressful circumstances for them. Overpriced and extremely loud. Ordered carryout and arrived in the given time frame to get the order. Burgers were dry, but everything else was soggy...go figure. I have never been a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings, but this one is the worst one. The place was totally crowded so I gave them some slack in getting our order to us. I had the chicken Garden salad. The grilled chicken was very cold and the tomatoes were not ripe. There weren't any purple onions on the salad, as stated on their menu. The garlic toast was cold and stale. The bartender, Leslie, was curt and unfriendly. I just hope the rest of Carlsbad is more friendly since we came along way to look at the caverns. read more

This is literally the worst restaurant in Carlsbad. Our waitress was very good but the place is an absolute mess. Had to complain to management to get the tables around us cleaned after a half hour while 4 bus girls texted on their phones. Manager just said "ya they don't listen to me" Weak minded manager leads to weak minded staff. At least our waitress was attentive and friendly. Stopped here on the way home. Kids were excited to eat somewhere new. We were less than impressed with this restaurant. Upon entering the place the music is very loud, almost 80 decibels. The girl at the host station took a while to find us a table even though the restaurant was only about 2/3 full. Then my family of 5 was seated at a 4 person table when there was a 6 person table available across from us. When I asked about the bigger table we were told it was already given to the party behind us. The floor had trash over most of it. The chairs were dirty, we had to brush them off before sitting. The waitress gave me the wrong soda then took forever to come back to the table. Our fried pickles came out half cooked and cold. We sent them back. The main dishes were right and delicious. The only problem was they brought out ranch for everyone, but didn't ask if we wanted it and we were charged for it. I would have declined the extra if I had known that. Our fried pickles showed up again after everyone was done eating. The waitress didn't apologize or offer to take them off our ticket. When my son ordered a small traditional wing basket my husband asked how many wings there would be. The waitress said 9. My son, who has been to a different location before, said it should be 10. The waitress said they had changed the number of wings in a basket about a week before. When we got home from our trip I called the Pasadena TX location my son had been too and they said a small traditional comes with 10 wings. I don't know what is going on with the Carlsbad NM location. What I do know is we will never eat there again. The single worst service I've ever received in my life. It was so horrible i was tempted to not pay and just leave within 30 seconds. Went in at 11:00 am on a Sunday, the place was steady but not busy. I sat at my table in the bar for 15 minutes. I made eye contact with multiple servers who never came over to take my drink order or welcome me. After 15 minutes I got the managers attention. I asked if I could have a drink I'd been here for 15 minutes with no service. He said, "oh it hasn't been 15 minutes." So either he saw me waiting that entire time and didn't care, or the reality was that he has no idea how to interact with his customers. We have been here several times but tonight was the worst. Waited for refills, silverware, and to top it off was charged an extra $17 dollars to the credit card to a 22% tip we did not approve of. Server did not bring back the card receipt for us to sign. Took another 30 minutes arguing with the manager on duty. After that wait the guy behind the bar said my order should be out shortly even though he never took it and I still had not put my order in with any other server. I was walking out and briefly talked to a manager who told me they were short staffed which was an obvious lie since I was able to point out 6 people standing around while we talked. Service was ok but fairly slow because our server would forget when we'd order something. Overall they are decent. Service depends on which waitress you get. Most of the time they get the orders right but several times they have gotten wrong. It's always an issue to correct it when it happens. They have tried to charge us for bringing us the wrong beer. The appetizers contain half the food they did when they first opened. And the thing that bugs me the most is that recently they started charging for ranch and blue cheese that should come with the meal. I shouldn't be paying $1.20 more for two little things of ranch. read more

I never do this, but this was so stupid, I have to say what a ridiculous place this is.....I wanted ZERO stars since I could never get service but Yelp won't let you do that....so I walk in and ask if I can sit at the bar...I go to the bar, and there are spots, but apparently those are being 'saved'...so I go back and get a table....the waitress walks past me at least 3 times, totally ignoring me....ok....so I walk up to the bar and wait and finally the bartender asks if she can help me...I tell her I would like a vodka 7 please...she tells me "we don't serve anyone who is standing"...I explained I tried to get a place at the bar and then got a table, but the waitress had never taken my order...the bartender said again, "we don't serve anyone who is standing"...at that point I just walked out....I have been to many places - all over the country- and I have NEVER been told, "we don't serve people who are standing" read more
