By far the worst experience ever. We had to ask several associates for our order that took over 35 minutes along with refills/extra ranch since our waitress was no where to be seen. When we finally got our food it was cold and still had to wait 10 more minutes for our fries. Absolutely no sense of urgency and everyone lacked basic customer service skills. I have been to this location several times and NEVER had I had such a poor experience. The hostess with her ridiculously huge eyelashes had a piss poor attitude from the door opening. The waitress was nice but only visited the table when called on. We had to refill our own sodas at the bar. By the time our food came out about an hour and a half of ordering, it was cold. My kids had to share a meal because the only brought 1 of the 2 out. Half the table was served, cold food. The other half cold food about 30 minutes later. When drinks were served one of the waitresses literally threw the straws on the table. It was an absolute waste of what we thought would be a good evening. I chose to go healthy by ordering the carrots & celery, but with Caesar as dipping sauce. Hey, I was sorta healthy ;p While waiting for my order, I chatted it up with Bryan, who even let me sample their new Gamechanger beer. Now, I'm not a drinker, but a little less than a shot glass full of beer is okay. I mean, the kombucha I drink probably has a higher alcohol content. Yep, another BWW review, this time in Cerritos. I really like this location as it has a big patio area which keeps cool with overhead fans when it's hot and keeps warm with overhead heaters when it's cold. The interior is much like any other location with all the TV screens encircling the room. Very sports bar-ish. The food is pretty much the same too. If you're not in the mood for wings you can do what I did and order a burger. But first I got some Buffalo Chips as an appetizer (delicious sliced potatoes). My honey bacon BBQ burger was enormous (the meat was bigger than the bun) and the sauce was quite tasty. Big thumbs up on the burger. For the first time ever I tried dessert at BWW - their chocolate fudge cake. If you love sweets you MUST save room for this. It is very moist chocolate cake with a thick & rich fudgy frosting and chocolate chips on top. Well, another BWW - another so so experience. This time, I have to admit, the service was better at first, but then it eventually settled into what I've become accustomed to. I met up with a friend to meet his significant other for the first time. So, we all met up at the lounge area and I have to admit, the service in that area was pretty good. I don't remember the server's name, but he was on his game. He was friendly, funny and knew what his place offered and didn't. Anyway, when our party was moved out of the lounge area to the dining area, that's when the service tanked. I do have to admit, this time I will partly attribute the lack of service to how the restaurant is situated. I was sitting at the furthest point away from the bar - where my drinks were probably being made which meant a trek for my server to get my beverages. And either they were short handed that day or management should learn to rezone the server's stations so that they're don't have a table at one end of the restaurant and a few in the middle. Whatever the case, there were times when our party was left waiting, looking for our server. The assistants who bring out the food should be more helpful as they dropped off the food however, didn't ask if we needed anything. At one point, we had our food for a few minutes before we could flag our server down for utensils. Anyway - the food was okay. I opted for the hottest of the hot and as usual, it wasn't hot enough for me. I didn't even break out with a bead of sweat on my nose. But, I can't fault BWW because I'm used to very spicy foods - it's just I love how servers act like the heat is so intense that they'll be ready to speed dial 911 when I can't handle it. All I have to say is, at least it's open late with lots of tvs playing sports (if you're into that) For some reason, my cherished Goose Island IPA wasn't as good here. I had it on tap, maybe that's why. But my Angry Orchard was pretty good. My cousin braved the spiciest wings, at 4 of them, but said they weren't THAT spicy. I had a bite too. Kind of lacked flavor and heat to boast spiciest level. Blazing wings, that's what they were called. I also had mozzarella cheese sticks, roasted garlic mushrooms, and the lemon pepper wings. The mozzarella sticks were standard. Nothing to wow about. They were pretty good. The mushrooms vane as a surprise because I didn't think they'd be deep fried. I must have missed that on the description. I was a bit dismayed at first, but then when I ate one, I was glad I ordered them. They too, were pretty good. What was awful were my lemon pepper wings. If I could give this place a negative 0 star I would. This is not my first bad experience with this place. But I always feel because of covid they are understaffed and want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Well...wings mainly, and then you have your burgers, flatbread pizzas, salads, appetizers. You can't really go wrong with the wings or anything else, pretty much bar food. There are also discounts on wings on Tuesdays (maybe other days also), and the wings are $.55 each and sauces and veggies are like $.60. Good deal! They sell the wings at 5 pieces an order when they're $.55. They also have two happy hours (like BJ's Pizza) from 5-7pm and 10pm-closing. Service? The place was packed so we sat at the bar (first come, first serve at the bar). Tons of TVs, tons of seats. Service wasn't bad at all.
