My family and I stopped by Amor Y Tacos for dinner tonight, and both the food and service were outstanding! We made our reservation through Yelp, and after arriving, we were greeted warmly and seated within about 15 minutes. For dinner, we ordered the Hatch Spaghetti with grilled chicken, quesa birria tacos, a taco plate, the chile relleno burger, and the ceviche. Everything arrived quickly, was served hot, and most importantly, was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavor, and everyone in our family enjoyed their meal. Overall, we had a great dining experience and will definitely be back the next time we're in the area. Highly recommend giving Amor Y Tacos a try!

This was my 2nd time here and it was just as fabulous as the first time. My husband and I shared the potato taquitos, chicharrones, and the new york steak. Everything was fantastic. I thought the sauce on the steak was a bit spicy, so next time Id get that on the side. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare. There was a lady at the front making homemade tortillas. They were amazing. The bartender was very friendly and made fantastic mojitos. We made reservations well in advance, as we know this place gets packed. We ended up sitting at the bar top, since that is our preference. I look forward to dining here again.

Hey everyone, Hope you're all having a fantastic week! I was just thinking, what better way to brighten our day than to kick it off with some seriously delicious breakfast? I'm talking about Amora Tacos - their morning spread is absolutely incredible. Seriously, from classics to unique delights, they've got everything you could possibly crave, and Lakina totally vouches for it too! It's the perfect excuse to get together, enjoy some amazing food, and just have a great time catching up. So, what do you say? Let's make a plan to head over there and celebrate good food and even better company! They have the best Chilaquiles the best service I tell you gotta check this out. I know there's a restaurant right next-door to them. There's no reason why to come back.

Met a friend here for lunch and, after looking at restaurants in the area, decided on Amor y Tacos. Made a reservation and there we were. Gianna was our server, very friendly, personable and honest about her recommendations. After a quick glance at the menu, we made our decisions. We did a taco plate with a mixture of tacos, ordered the pork belly tacos as well as the short rib entree. Meats were nice and flavorful, and all cooked well, nothing overcooked. Presentation was simple and appealing. The pork belly tacos were particularly interesting with diced watermelon, giving it a little crunch and sweetness. The avocado salsa on top was a little overly runny and felt more messy than adding to the taco. I would have preferred that not added and put on the side to add as you see fit. The short rib was cooked perfectly, just get sister with your fork and had good flavor. Overall, nice Mexican restaurant in Cerritos serving up some quality food. Also, I got a Mai Tai and it may be the largest Mai Tai your going to get, well worth the money. So, if you're in the area, stop by Amor y Tacos and grab someone to eat. And kudos to Gianna for the recs!

We wanted to try this place since it got raving reviews. Upon entering, we had to wait a few minutes as the person who walked in right before us was placing a to-go meal we assume. No one greeted us for a few minutes which is fine if they're busy. They asked us to wait to finish cleaning a table so they could sit us in a corner since we had a stroller. There were several tables open. We ordered micheladas, the surf and the short rib with runny egg on top. The plating looked amazing, however the food fell short. The short rib plate came with veggies which consisted of zucchini and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were still slightly cold while the meat was hot. That was not good. My husband said his plate had the same problem as his were not fully warmed up either. The meat was good but it was also drenched in sauce and parts were extremely fatty. I didn't finish my plate because of this. My husband also complained of the same, stated the meals were both full of sauce that you can't tell the quality of meat. Another issue we had was everything was extremely salty. Given that I love adding salt to things, that is saying a lot. The chips were super salty where I had to wipe the salt off the chips. The micheladas had way too much salt as well and the sauce used on top of the meat. A good amount of people there so it just seems overrated to me. There were also several flies around us that kept us from enjoying our meal. Overall, I would not come back.

Ceviche Tostadas, Chile Colorado (short rib), Shrimp à la Diabla, Chips and Salsa

Avengers Assemble! Updated review: we've gone here three times in the past week and the quality is still as good as ever after all of these years! No need to travel back in time à la Dr Strange with the Time Stone. It's just as good in the present! Or maybe, just maybe... We are actually from the future and came back in time this week to try this restaurant twice. Kinda like Captain America time hoping to live his best life (or life to be. Or life lost?) with Peggy Carter? Our two absolute favorite dishes are the Chile Colorado and Shrimp à la Diablo. The former is hands-down, one of the two best short rib entrées I've ever had. And I've had various types of short rib in various states, as well as locally. Much like a dish that the hungry Asgardian God of Thunder would devour with hearty appetite and swinging hammer! The latter dish has such a wonderful spicy sauce, with slightly crisp potatoes, with neither one being overpowering or too much. just like Iron Man, setting his suit to the right power levels to stun an opponent with his repulses, but definitely not kill anyone. OK, we do sometimes add a little extra side of spice to this, but don't worry, we have to tell the tale. And one of the major sins is that we order the chips and salsa. I'm diabetic, but I will definitely cheat here and take a temporary glucose spike, so I do a lot of calf raises and brisk walking immediately after. But boy, are there freshly made chips wonderful. You know they are freshly made, because they are handmade and then deep-fried in their original round shape, rather than in triangles. so these chips are the full, round fried tortillas, much like they were made for Hank Pym as giant man, rather than Hank Pym as Ant-man. We now have to add the Ceviche tostada to the list. This one is not too tangy, as I think Manny put too much lime and it makes them tart. This one is not tart. They have a lot of seafood on them, as well as guacamole and some cheese, which gives it a slightly different flavor. They are very large portions, as we have seen other places, although serving excellent CBA tostadas, are much smaller. These are giant and extremely tasty and fresh! Namor the Submariner must have summoned these beasts from the Marianas Ocean depths! Service is always excellent. The last two times we were served by Gianna. There was a mail server as well today, but I didn't catch his name. He was just as good! Parking can get crowded during peak hours, but they share a parking lot with the bowling alley and the supermarket, so there's always plenty of parking, maybe just not right in front. So if you are looking to park your Quinjet or your hover cycle, you may need to actually walk, hover, or roll over from a slightly further parking spot. 5 stars!

Came back here for lunch with one of my friend's last weekend. Place was busy on a Sunday but we were able to get seated right away. Even though they were busy, service was quick & efficient. I was glad to see that they still served HH drinks on weekends. Both of us had their classic margaritas. My friend ordered enchiladas & I had fish tacos. Drinks were made on point. Fish tacos were flavorful & delicious just like last time. Portions are generous here. We both enjoyed our meals.

AMBIANCE Amor Y Tacos has a wide indoor and outdoor space with Mexican art, wood decor, a tortilla maker, and Michelin recognition 2021 & 2025. The place had a healthy amount of customers around 3pm. SERVICE I placed a take out order with the friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff at Amor Y Tacos. I gladly accepted an offer of water while waiting. FOOD I couldn't decide just one taco to pick from, so I ordered The TOUR DE TACOS (five tacos with rice and beans): 5/5 SHORT RIB (tender) habanero crema, grilled onion, cotija, pickled radish (tart), cilantro CARNE ASADA salsa de arbol, guac, cotija, grilled onions, pico, cilantro CARNITAS (tender) amor & avocado salsa, pickled onion, cotija, cilantro, chicharon (crisp) AL PASTOR avocado salsa, (sweet) pineapple, cotija, cilantro Rice and pinto beans (has pork) here hits different

Stumbled upon this place on my way to Ralph's thinking it was going to be a quick little taco spot... only to realize it was an actual sit-down restaurant. So naturally, we stayed lol. The vibes were really good right away. They had upbeat Hispanic music playing, a decent-sized bar, and the whole place just felt lively and welcoming. Our waitress was super friendly, and since it was our first time there, they brought us a little sample of their chilaquiles for free, which was such a nice touch. I ordered the green cheese enchiladas and they were BOMB. The tortillas were handmade, which made them extra filling and honestly so much more delicious. My boyfriend got the taquitos de papa, and not only were they good, but the presentation was surprisingly boujee lol. Like these taquitos came out looking fancier than me on most weekends. Thankfully, they tasted just as good as they looked.

Came here after a school night activity with my kids. Had been here before. The Mexican themed wall arts and indoor decor still draw my fond attention. If you come during the day, you may be able to catch the worker making the fresh tortillas by hands. We ordered the trio tacos and the wet burrito. Great flavor. The burrito is of generous portion that you could save the uneaten portion for a second meal. The servers are attentive. Will definitely return.

I stopped by for a late-night bite. We were in the area, and feeling a bit hungry. We were craving some Mexican food, and we saw that this place had good recommendations, so we decided to stop by. There was no wait, and we were seated right away. It looked like there were only two front staff working that night, just a waitress and the bartender, who seemed to handle pretty much everything. I wasn't expecting much, but the hospitality was on point. I didn't catch his name, but the bartender was one of the best servers I've ever had. He was super friendly and went out of his way to accommodate our order after it came out not as expected (I'll get into that later). We ordered a few things: chips and salsa, the wet burrito, and the chipotle agave pork belly. The chipotle agave pork belly was hands down the best thing we ordered. The pork belly was tender, a little salty, and a little sweet from the glaze. The potatoes that came with it were amazing. IT was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just delicious. Everything in this dish was just so well balanced. On the other hand, the other two dishes we ordered were just okay. The chips and salsa were standard. The salsa was a good light starter to the meal. I did want to mention that the chips were huge, practically entire tortillas! They were unsalted, but strangely addictive to munch on. As for the wet burrito, it had the potential to be good and would have been a hefty meal. It might take two people to finish, or if you're extra hungry, you could tackle it solo. We got the burritos with carnitas, but it came out too salty. It was noticeably salty, and even the other fillings and sauces couldn't balance it out. The bartender offered additional condiments to help cut the saltiness and even asked if we wanted it remade. However, by the time we figured out why it tasted off to us and concluded it was the saltiness, we were pretty much done with the burritos and our meal. We decided not to have the kitchen remake the burrito, as we didn't want to waste food, especially since we wouldn't finish a 2nd burroito. We barely took a few bites of the first and just thought it would be too much of a waste. Overall, the experience was solid, and the bartender's excellent service definitely stood out.

Italian Food? Me?! Say It Ain't So…read more.. First things first... THE MAP IS LYING. If your GPS takes you somewhere that looks completely wrong, map to Lazy Dog Café instead--the restaurant is on the left-hand side. You're welcome! Parking on a Saturday around 10 AM is HORRENDOUS, so be prepared to park a little farther away and get your cardio in. Nothing wrong with earning those brunch calories! Now let's talk about the vibe because WOW. I'm not usually a huge Italian food girl because I find it a little too carby, but the interior and exterior here are STUNNING. Modern, chic, and honestly the exact indoor/outdoor, open-bar vibe I'd want in my own home. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside for our girlfriend's birthday. Jumpstart -- $7.50 | 7.8/10 Coffee mixed with chocolate, and it was definitely chocolate-forward with a nice espresso kick. I only had a sip, but it was tasty! Mango Chamoy -- $15 | 6/10 Unfortunately, not my favorite. I wanted more mango liqueur flavor, and the homemade chili-salt rim was different from what I'm used to. I personally prefer Tajín, but maybe you'll love their version! Truffle Garlic Bread -- $18.50 | 8/10 Okayyyy, I see why everyone orders this! I'm a TRUFFLE GIRLY, and this definitely delivered. They went a little heavy on the butter, but the truffle and cheese topping was delish . I can absolutely see why this is a bestseller. Must try! Seasonal Burrata -- $18.50 | 7/10 Heirloom tomatoes, burrata, and bread underneath. The burrata was nice, but the bread became pretty soggy from the tomato juices. I've definitely had better, but still worth trying. Seasonal Salad + Heirloom Beets -- $21 | 8.75/10 I'm not normally a beet girl, but these were surprisingly sweet and delicious! Mixed with corn, asparagus, peas, romaine, and green goddess dressing--WOW. The dressing was fantastic . My only complaint was that some of the asparagus and peas were pretty fibrous, but overall, a winner! Trottole Chicken Pesto Pasta -- $26.50 No rating--I didn't get to try it! The birthday girl ordered it, but I guess I'll have to come back and investigate myself. Hot Honey Pizza -- $25 No rating--also didn't get a bite! But it looked delicious and is definitely on my next-time list. Roasted Salmon -- $29 | 8.8/10 THIS was my dish! Perfectly grilled/crusted salmon over basil pesto pasta with broccolini--my absolute favorite vegetable! The salmon was beautifully cooked, the crust had a great texture, and the pesto pasta was DIVINE. We had already demolished the appetizers, so I couldn't eat as much as I wanted, but I would absolutely order this again. Hazelnut Torta -- $13.50 | 8/10 Our wonderful server Cassandra surprised the birthday girl with this dessert on the house! I'm not sure what that crunchy layer was, but whatever it was... KEEP IT! Such a delicious texture and a sweet way to end the meal. SERVICE Cassandra was wonderful! She checked on us often, was super patient, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for taking such good care of us and making the birthday girl feel special! OVERALL: 4.5/5 The bill came out to around $220, so definitely not the cheapest spot, but you're paying for the food, service, and GORGEOUS atmosphere. Honestly, this place opened my palate to Italian food a little more. I went in thinking, "Too carby for me," and left thinking, "Okayyy... maybe I need to explore Italian food!" If you're around Cerritos Mall, definitely give this place a try--especially for a birthday, girls' brunch, date night, or just because you want to eat somewhere pretty. Beautiful space Friendly service Truffle garlic bread Pesto pasta Birthday dessert New appreciation for Italian food Definitely coming back to try what I missed! Happy Eats & Happy Brunch!

There are about 6 talented bartenders who work the bar and each of them bring a unique portfolio to mixology. Let's get back to Amanda! One of my friends who was visiting from Hawaii found Amanda on social media and asked that I take her to Kuduowl to experience this unique mixology. We were greeted warmly by Amanda and she explained the concept of the bar and the drink options. All were absolutely beautifully crafted and served! Delicious! I had a drink a few years ago (Sloe Gin Ramos) and not many bartenders know how to make it, nor do they want to take the time to make it. Amanda and Chris jumped right in and made it (takes 10-15 minutes to make). It was delicious and the preparation was a show! Loved it. All bartenders, servers, and bar backs were working in unison, like an orchestra. You could tell they all enjoyed their jobs and coworkers! It made for a beautiful ambiance. The bar welcomes everyone - from old to young, from gay to straight, and a rainbow of diversity of ethnic backgrounds! This has to be my favorite bar in Southern California! Bravo Amanda & team!

My wife & I ordered Mexican food & both agreed it was only so so. We ordered the empanadas, queso fundito, chicken street taco & asada street taco. With the most bummer part of the meal being the queso. Despite it being served on a cast iron skillet the cheese combo they used ended up becoming hard & difficult to finish. It came with soft little tortillas instead of chips which we weren't expecting. Almost like making them into mini hard cheese quesadillas. The food wasn't a total loss though because there is another partner with a different menu that we are willing to try. Overall we will definitely be back for the drinks & other food options.

This is a great date nite spot, weekend brunch eatery or quick Happy Hour joint. No matter your desire, ROKKA IS 4U!!! It's in the heart of Bellflower and is beautifully decorated inside. Sit @the bar or request a booth or eat in their patio...the choice is totally yours! ENJOY

So decided to try the tomahawk Tuesdays. I got there roughly…read more6:45 pm ordered a drink for me and my girl ,so our drinks arrive which I thought there were our drinks wrong the server only gave me my beer and my girls drink was in tray as well but he took it ànd gave it to another table . So we waited 7 more minutes to get my girls drink so we can cheer together after that time my beer was warm but ok It was a mistake so I let it go or was it just careless Who knows . So I ordered some coconut shrimp for an app . Which were ok . And then we ordered a whiskey salad which was good ànd I ordered my tomahawk a medium well which I was splitting with my girl . So we finished our appetizer ànd salad . Ànd no steak yet . Ordered 2 more drinks finished them and nothing . Then I notice a couple that came in 25 mins after us getting their steak and I was questioning myself like where is mine . Then another couple that came in 45 mins after me got theirs . So then I was concerned ànd call the waitress and asked Whats going on she was very defensive telling me medium well takes longer that medium rare that's why they got theirs before me . How is that possible when 1 couple came in 25 mins after me and the other 45 mins after . So then the manager comes and tells me they cook the medium rare first then the medium well . So let me get this straight i had to wait 45 mins for someone to arrive so they can cook theirs first . It doesn't make sense . As management she shouldn't lie or cover up for anyone else mistakes or lack or work performance. On the contrary she was defensive and thought it was ok to bring a steak after waiting 1 hr and 15 for a steak after it was ordered . She came after I ordered a box to go If I wanted a free desert . Like really à desert. No I would have been a ok with honesty ànd treated fairly ànd tell me they screwed up. I wish owner ship reads this ànd reviews their surveillance video . This Is steak house not à fast food joint I am paying for service ànd to get treated well The food was decent but the service and management is poor ,eventually they will run the customers always if nothing changes .

There is plenty of parking in their lot or on the street. We ended up talking a lot and our poor server came back often to see if we were ready for drinks or appetizers. Thank you for your patience. We ended up splitting a bottle of wine and ordered the caprese. The caprese was so fresh and even had pesto in the middle. It was a great start to dinner. We were even given rolls with butter as well. We actually chose this place because they have a cheese wheel and no one ended up ordering that. They also were very attentive and refilled our water without us asking. I got the rigatoni a las vodka with chicken, and my two other friends got the baked rigatoni and the fettuccine Alfredo. Our dishes were delicious and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered the chocolate Gelato and tiramasu for dessert. Those were a perfect night cap to our dinner and catch up session. The restaurant is deceptively big and had a whole back area, I am guessing for large parties. It was very clean and we were able to catch up without any issues. I definitely recommend coming here for the food and excellent service.

The food and drinks have always been consistently good, and the service has never disappointed. On one recent visit, my coworker and I went to Eureka, and I fell in love with the fried pickles! That is something I normally don't ever order but I wanted to try something different. They were so good that my boyfriend and I came back a few days later just to order two baskets before heading home! Like I mentioned previously, I never had a bad experience here. The food is consistently good, the drinks are even better, and the service is always on point. Eureka is definitely one of my go-to spots, and I will absolutely keep coming back.

I started with an Old Fashioned drink, which was solid - strong enough to pack a little punch but still taste good. We ordered a few appetizers - the Korean Beef Frachos were especially good and the Brussel sprouts were very solid. With so many appetizers, I went with a Caesar salad and two soft tacos (shrimp and fish). The Caesar salad was good and healthy sized, so I could share with others. It was a typical, but good, Caesar which didn't have anything fancy about it (no anchovies, egg yolk, etc), but nothing was really lacking either. Both soft/street tacos were good, respectable in size and very tasty. Other people in our party got burgers, goat cheese salad, chicken sandwiches, and everyone seemed very happy with their meals. Service was friendly and casual. Our server was the one who really recommenced the Frachos, which was a great call. I've been to Eurekas before and always been satisfied. I'd probably rate the typical location a 4-star experience, but this one seemed extra friendly and the food I enjoyed more than I expected, so a solid 5 star experience in my book.
