I was on my way to Missions BBQ but saw Buffalo Wild Wings and decided it was a good option...well...I ordered the medium 14 wings...half salt and vinegar (extra seasoning) and half Asian zinger. I was disappointed with both...the salt/vinegar didn't have a nice strong flavor...it was very mite and tasted like regular under seasoned wings and the Asian zing were unseasoned but was coated with a spicy sauce. Let me start by saying that usually BWW is on top of their game. Excellent service and awesome food. However today, that was not the case We called ahead to let them know that we had 12 people in our party. When we arrived they got the tables set in record time and seated us. The server came over and took out drink order. After bringing the drinks, we all placed our orders. One hour later, 5 out of the 12 orders came out to the table. Half and hour later the rest of the meals arrived. They were all cold. I'm am executive chef with a large corporations, and have been in the restaurant business for 30 years. This was the worse excuse for a BWW I have ever seen. We asked 4 times for a manager, and none came to our table. Most of us sat , not only without food but drinks as well. I know our server was embarrassed by all this. I will be certain to let everyone I know that if they want great food with great service, 100% AVOID Buffalo Wild Wings. You folks in Greenbriar need to re-evaluate your kitchen system. It DOESNT work. Customers suffer, and your profits will start to diminish.. Food is what you expect from one of these places. If you're a fan of wings, then you're in the right place. There are plenty of flavors to choose from. I chose the Spicy Garlic this time and it was very tasty. They have the trivia game where you get buzzers at your table and that can help pass the time when you have enough people playing. I gave it 3 stars because it was just pretty low key. No real games or other events going on so maybe it was just an off night. So my co-workers and I ordered Buffalo Wild Wings take-out today for lunch, which we usually end up doing several times a month. I ordered a Buffalo Ranch Chicken Wrap with medium buffalo sauce and a side salad. They have many buffalo sauces to choose from but I love the traditional medium so most of the time I order that. My side salad was nice and fresh, with purple onions, chopped tomatoes, and croutons. They forgot my Italian dressing, however which I repeated to her several times over the phone, so that was huge bummer. I love the food at Buffalo Wild Wings, whether I'm getting take-out or eating it BUT it seems like every time I do take-out there something is wrong with my order. The last few times I have been they have either forgotten my dressing, or my side of ranch, etc. Today they forget my Italian dressing as well as giving my coworker chips and salsa when she asked for fries. Basically, I think the food here is great (I'm always a huge fan of anything buffalo sauce so perhaps I'm biased) but the service isn't quite up to par. Sure, the staff is always friendly but that really doesn't matter when I'm back in my office eating lettuce without dressing. Yet another crappy experience on August 4. I arrived at 10:30 pm. Although the dining room does not close until 11pm, I got a lot of attitude from the bartender when I asked for a menu. I was immediately told that the dining room closes at 11 pm, then I was told they had already dumped-out the iced tea...because they close at 11pm. When did a closing time become the time at which the employees are in their cars with keys in the ignition? It is the time at which you no longer seat customers --- but, I guess good business goes out the window when you have as few customers as they have at this BWW location? Most of the long-time employees are very accommodating at this place -- but the few continue to ruin it due to apathy and laziness. read more

I don't know how this place is in business. I had a gift card a coworker gave me for Christmas. Why she didn't get me a Chic Fil A one, I don't even understand. I digress. So I ordered online at 10:58 AM and got an email saying that my order would be ready at 11:10. I arrived at 11:10 and it's not ready. I LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings-I've frequented many locations, and this is by far the worst one I've visited. I've visited this location a few times and have been underwhelmed with the service and cleanliness. I normally do not write poor reviews, but my latest interaction (along with a cumulation of other poor experiences) has me completely irritated. On multiple occasions, including this evening, I have attempted to order take out via phone call. Immediately upon the hostess answering the phone, she said she was going to place me on hold-except she hung up on me-before I could utter a single word. I called back and again, before I could say anything, I was placed on hold. After about five minutes of being on hold, the same individual would pick up again, only to PUT ME BACK ON HOLD, without me being able to say anything. This happened THREE times in a span on 10 minutes, after the third time of being put on hold, I got fed up and decided to take my business somewhere else. After the first take out wait I experienced on the phone, I moved on after deeming it a fluke. I was wrong-this is apparently standard protocol. Don't bother wasting your time here. This was the second time I have visited this establishment. The first visit had long wait times for seating and kitchen staff preparing the food delays. The Servers had to make excuses for the overall poor performance of the team. Ensuring the food will be coming out in a longer duration of time. Even though the first time when I came to BWW on veterans day. I witnessed staff members being dumped on by customers because of the wait times and causing the Karen and Kevin outbursts. I do believe there is a right to refuse unorderly customers and the Staff should of exercised that how ever I did see a manager step in and fix the situation as best aa possible. As for the food I can say it is what it is! Disappointing I have found my new diet plan to quickly loose the weight . It might of been from the dipping sauce and or some improper food handling what ever it was it has done its job. Now trying to give this place a second chance on Friday the place was not too crowded however the seating staff member was not that great. She Looked at us and then did the speak and walk technique which in my book. They think their doing a good job in the seating it just shows the rudeness and just hurry up and sit down and wait. Now the server was better Ms. Lorin was great in her job working effectively and got the ball rolling . She got the drinks efficiently and took the order and gave us the heads up if their were delays. I wish more workers can take a page in her note book and LEARN. Dumpster fire and probably the worst dinning experience I've had in about a year. After 30 minutes of being seated, I received my first drink. Ordered 3 beers off the menu three different times, waited on the beer each time after about 5-10 min and was told they "don't have that beer available" try again. I asked would it be easier to just tell me what you have available out of this whole drink book? The waitress replied "yes but I'll have to ask the bar tender". Received the appetizer and had to ask for napkins, plates and silverware. Finally got what we ordered (kinda, missing items) 45 min after being seated. Choose which size wings you want--snack, small, medium, or large. I snacks are 5-7 wings depending on if you get traditional or boneless and large are 20 wings. I always sit in the bar area so that I can get the specials. Happy hour is from 2pm-6pm Monday through Friday. I always get the half price fried mushrooms, pickles, and queso dip. We came for dinner on a Thursday evening. Our server was very nice however, I'm pretty sure he was new at being a server. We ordered the cheese sampler appetizer in hopes that we could give the grilled cheese triangles to our picky son. When it finally came, we realized it had a spicy sauce on it. Our server nicely offered to bring back another one without the spicy sauce, but instead sent the whole appetizer back. We had to wait another 10 minutes or so. I don't understand why they couldn't just take the grilled cheese back and leave the rest with us. This rubbed us both the wrong way. The food was very good. My cod sandwich was much bigger than the bun, I couldn't eat it all. The coleslaw was ok but lacked taste. My husband enjoyed all the wings he had (mango habanero, parmesan garlic, and spicy garlic). The mango habanero was extremely hot...beware! Ok so this is where the straw broke the camel's back. We ordered a cheese quesadilla and a black cherry limeade to go. Our server said he would time it so it would be ready when it was time for us to pay the check. When it came time to pay the check, it took him about 10 minutes to come, and another 10 minutes to get our card back. My husband had to ask him where our to go order was, he went back to look for it and came back to tell us "I think they threw it out because it was there and now it's not." Seriously? Love coming to BWW. Every time I come here I always get the Honey BBQ boneless wings. It never disappoints. This time around we also got the spicy garlic and chipotle bbq. I sill found the honey bbq the best flavor. If you ever want to try other flavors, the servers there can bring samples of the sauces before you decide to buy! You can even add any dry rub seasoning to your fries. I always get the chipotle bbq seasoning on my fries. We also ordered the fried pickles there & it literally came in less than 10 min of us ordering it. I also highly recommend the fried pickles there! It comes with a southwestern ranch that perfectly goes with them. Although their wings are good, I find them a bit pricey. If you want to come here, I suggest you either go on a Tuesday or Thursday for half off wings. read more

This is probably the worst BWW location I've been too in Hampton Roads. We came in with a party of 8 on a Sunday around 6. We all ordered beers and it took about 10 mins to get our beers. The tap beer is super cold & delicious so whatever it's okay. So ordering a 2nd beer took even longer and our waiter only seemed to bring us 1 drink at a time rather than bringing all of our drinks at the same time. He kept running back and forth to the bar to get all of our drinks. So we all ordered wings because hey it's Buffalo Wild Wings right? Holy Jesus it literally took 35 mins to get our wings and half of them were wrong. He somehow didn't ring up one person's wing order but put someone else's wing order in twice. So he took back the incorrect wings & literally came back in 30 seconds with the new ones. So that was great. When we went to get the bills and check out he had our bills all wrong too. He had people rang up with drinks they didn't have and food that wasn't theirs. We literally had to tell him what everyone had. I think the wait staff need more training or a better system of taking orders. I have been to many Buffalo Wild Wings in different states. At this particular one at 2pm it was nearly empty and we still had to wait to be seated because the waitress was distracted. After being seated the waitress was very nice and attentive, and came back quickly with our appetizers. Sadly our food did not come as quickly and took a bit longer then it should of, the quality of the food was a little above average and the wings a little dry but it still made a good meal in a pretty good atmosphere. They are still an appetizer, right? Well, they came out with the wings. We sat there it seems forever, nursing the tall boys. I was adamant about it being a one-beer-evening. Finally the wings arrived - mild, medium, dry buffalo, chipotle bbq, and desert heat. There were two sets of medium - one spicy and heavily sauced and the other lightly sauced and not hot at all. I have to say... I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I realize that it's a chain, but for my first visit to a buffalo wild wings, I didn't really know what to expect. Lots of big screen TV's with a nice selection of channels and sports. A huge selection of beers on tap.. including woodchuck cider!.... A friendly barkeep...and Wings that are VERY good. (Not quite on par with Hooters wings, but close). It's too bad (or maybe a good thing) that we don't have any of these near my home....or I'd be a frequent visitor. :) read more
