I am a super fan of Longhorn I've been to three locations here in the 757 area and they all have exhibited five-star experiences! This location in particular my husband and I decided to dine in after a basketball game that ended a little bit after 9 p.m. so it was almost closing time but we were able to walk in and sit at the bar and had about 45 minutes before they closed during a weeknight. The bartender/waitress greeted us and she didn't make us feel rushed or even mentioned the time. She greeted us as if the doors just opened so that was by far a sign of great customer service!! Stellar in my opinion!! We ordered our food and it arrived within 20 minutes. I ordered the wings and a simple salad. I cannot remember what my husband ordered but we finished it all and it was delicious. Oh I remember he at least had fries and I helped him finish them. Now I will say, they did not have any fresh bread available. We were told that the last loaf was given to a table that sat prior to us but it was cool. We were good without it. We will definitely return. Plenty of parking. This location is located near my favorite store Ross... If we wanted to we could have easily walked over and walked off our food a little bit before we headed home since Ross closes at 11pm or later. Is it crazy I had never been to LongHorn Steakhouse until today!? Met a friend here for lunch. I immediately looked at their lunch menu first, and I wasn't impressed. They offer a chicken sandwich, a burger, and a 7-pepper steak. I decided on the 7 oz salmon that comes over rice with 1 side. The salmon was a little too overcooked for my liking; the rice was terrible, but the crispy brussel sprouts were the highlight of my meal! They are SO good and would recommend them over and over again. Oh and the complimentary bread was good Our server was nice. Although he did not give us his name. We were able to be seated immediately despite there being a nice crowd. When it comes to steak houses, I think I prefer more high-end restaurants. I like my salmon, steaks, and lamb chops cooked a certain way, an I think the higher end places nail that aspect better. I recently visited LongHorn Steakhouse and ordered the sirloin and coconut shrimp combo with mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. I also got a Wallaby Darned and let's start there. The Wallaby Darned is SO good. It tastes like sticking a straw straight into a peach icy, fruity, and smooth. It's not super strong, so if you prefer a heavier alcoholic drink, this might not be it. But if you like sweet, fruity cocktails that go down easy without burning your throat, it's perfect. I ordered my sirloin well done (which can sometimes mean dry or tough), but it was cooked perfectly for me. No complaints. The mashed potatoes were good, and of course the complimentary bread and butter were solid as always. Now let's talk about the Caesar salad. This is actually the first restaurant I've been to that automatically gave extra Caesar dressing on the side without us having to ask. Normally, my sister and I always feel like Caesar salads don't come with enough dressing, and we either ask for more or just deal with it. This one came lightly dressed plus a container of extra dressing on the side so we could add as much as we wanted. We really appreciated that. And another thing I appreciated they placed the dressing container on the side of the plate, not sitting directly on top of the salad. A lot of restaurants put sauce containers right on top of your food, and I personally don't like that. So that small detail did not go unnoticed. The coconut shrimp was good as well, but what really stood out was the service. When my plate first came out, the shrimp were a little darker than they should've been. Before I even had a chance to say anything, our waitress came to check on us and immediately said she was going to bring me fresh shrimp because those were overcooked. I didn't have to complain or ask she noticed on her own. That says a lot. She brought out a new batch that looked much better, and the manager came by afterward to make sure everything was okay. It was handled quickly and professionally, and I truly appreciated that level of attentiveness. Customer service was 10/10. Service is horrible, from reading the reviews I see it is a natural occurrence for silverware to not be placed on the table, condiments to not be given until the food is gone cold. My steak I requested medium well was also very well done with a char crust. I have never been to this establishment but I will make it my business not to return. I like to dine out with my only child 2x a week. From fine dining to mom and pop wing takeouts. This will never be an option again. If the wait staff expects a tip they should invest in their attitudes and how they present themselves. I left a $10 tip after requesting boxes and multiple underwhelming experiences. Waited approximately 25 minutes past the to-go order pick-up time for order to be brought out to my car. No apology offered from employee who delivered the food. Tried to check order before leaving, but did not notice until after returning home that items were missing from the order. Employee who answered the phone seemed fully prepared for me to drive over 20 minutes back out to the restaurant to retrieve the missing items - still with no apology - but required a manager who was unavailable to simply refund the cost of the missing items...which wouldn't happen until the shift end some hours later. Suffice it to say: I'm not happy with the service on this order. I used the app...how are ordered items missed when everything that I ordered was printed out? And if you've accepted that sometimes you're going to fail to deliver a complete order, why are you not prepared to refund the cost of those missing items on the spot? read more

Had dinner tonight 6/1/2026, with family.The problem with the restaurant was the odor. The place reeked with the small of sour dirty carpet. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The chicken sandwich was 4 out of ten because of the stale white bun! The option should be the customers choice, also I asked for more coffee and she wanted to take my cup somewhere and fill it not use to that. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. From the start, the restaurant didn't feel clean--the floors and table were visibly dirty, which should have been a warning sign. I attempted to visit the restroom but quickly turned around after noting the state of it. The final straw was when they brought out our appetizer plates, and they were clearly dirty with residue still on them. At that point, we completely lost confidence in the cleanliness of the kitchen and decided to leave before even ordering food. Overall, the lack of basic hygiene was unacceptable. We didn't feel comfortable staying, and we definitely won't be back. We have enjoyed other locations of Longhorn and won't let this ruin our opinion of every location. Longhorn has been my favorite steakhouse and pretty much my favorite chain restaurant as well for a long time. This location has always been good in my experience, which doesn't happen very often. A place that remains consistent for so many years is practically unheard of! I have tried many different things here since 2018. All of it has been really good and filling. I appreciate the wild west theme with terms like "Outlaw", "Maverick", "Renegade", etc. Makes for a really fun vibe. This location in particular has been top-notch for me, so far, so good. Ordered curbside pickup. Was told when my food wood be ready. Waited in line for 30 min after that before the food came out. When they brought it out, the utensils, which were asked for, was not there and my steak was well done when I ordered medium well. Will not be back any time soon. My husband and I love Longhorn steakhouse. We frequent this location on a regular basis. Everything we have gotten is absolutely delicious. They have great value lunch meals for $10. Which usually include a hamburger, chicken sandwich and your choice of a side or soup or salad. On our last visit, we both got the New York strip. I got mine with the Sweet potato. The sweet potato was topped with brown sugar, cinnamon butter. My husband side was the smokehouse bacon mac & cheese. We each also got a salad and the warm complementary bread. I ordered over $100 worth of takeout only to get food that was not right and after weighting over 15 mins for no one to answer the phone I had to drive back and the lady had the nerve to tell me there is no weighting phone call and am I sure I'm calling the correct longhorn. Tik Tok made me do it! Longhorn had been on my list for YEARS, but I just never went. That was until the Parmesan crusted chicken went viral on Tik Tok... I went on a random weekday by myself to grab a quick lunch. I went when it opened so it wasn't packed but by the time I was done, there was quite a few people in there. The complimentary bread was delicious, hot at soft. I opted for the parm crusted chicken, fries and the Caesar salad. The salad came out first. It was a huge portion of a side salad. by the time I ate the salad and some bread I was almost full. Then came the entree. It was everything I hoped it would be! I love the parm crusted topping. My son and I went back the next week, this time I ordered it to go. We both ordered a medium steak with the baked potato and brussel sprouts. The sides were good, the steak was tough. Waited maybe 10 mins for a both, then another 20 for the server to come to our table to take drink orders. She then proceeds to bring out bride and sits dirty dishes at our table and walks off. It's now 710p and we have yet to receive our food, Salmon, steamed broccoli and street corn for an additional up charge. On top of the restaurant being very noisy today it's also super untidy and the care and attention you normally receive is non-existent. On this day, I had the rock grilled shrimp which comes served over a bed of rice. Rice has to be cooked to a certain texture for me, so if it's tough or under cooked I won't eat it. We went in around 6pm and had a wait of about 10 minutes. The restaurant was western themed, with cowboys, longhorns and cowboy gear on the walls. When we sat our server greeted us kindly and took our orders. She promptly brought out our drinks and bread. We waited about 20 minutes for our meals. It was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. My steak was cooked exactly the way I like it, medium rare. So tender and easy to cut into. It melted in my mouth. I had added roasted mushrooms for my steak for a little up-charge and they were a delightful twist. For my sides I had broccoli and a sweet potato with cinnamon and butter. I have not dined in a Longhorn Steakhouse in a few decades, yeah really that long! I'm not a chain guy, but also not opposed to choosing them once in a while either. Keep in mind I'm a steak lover and eat at fine dining locations and often order steak. After seeing strong reviews of this location from friends like Terry T. I could not hold off any longer and joined them for a birthday meal on a Saturday. I however did not provide a heads up to my birthday reservation as I feared waiters chanting around me. I downloaded the Longhorn App and joined the Waitlist and immediately received a text back of confirmation to check-in when I arrived. The restaurant is located in Virginia Beach's Landstown Commons closer to the intersection of Princesses Anne & Dam Neck. I found the best entrance is Dam Neck by the Walgreens. Surface parking is on three side of their storefront. Valet is not offered. The best lot is to the right I feel. I found the lot tidy as well as the walk up to the door. Signage is excellent from the front and you can also see them from the rear on Princesses Anne. There were cars in front lined up for curbside pickup. Also some guest were outside on a wait. For a close to 14 year old building it's well maintained. A hostess greeted my wife and I at 545 PM and promptly guided us to our table with menus. There was a line present inside the door. I highly recommend the Longhorn App. We were seated in a less desirable location just off the bar, but no complaints considering they seated us immediately. Also the hostess did confirm we were ok with being just off the bar. Our waitress Brooke arrived with a smile and bread. She got drink orders which were waters and hey why not margaritas since we were celebrating. The order for a large Perfect Margarita was split allowing for a better value with even leftover in a shaker. A bit stingy on the tequila, but tasty. The bread was a miss and although warm the loaf was dry and butter could not help. Also a knife was missing and we had to use a large steak knife. There was no rush as we allowed plenty of time prior to a show nearby. Brooke returned for orders in a timely manner. My wife a shrimp entree with house salad & broccoli. I was not going to let a golden opportunity to get by for a steak. The Outlaw 20 oz medium rare with sides of Cesar salad and sweet baked potato was my choice. We did tell Brooke the bread was off and she apologized and offered to replace which we declined. Our salads came out first as expected in less than 10 minutes brought out by a runner. Both of us were pleased with the size and freshness. Brooke popped over to ensure all was good. About another 20 minutes and Brooke arrived with entrees. She politely asked if I could check the meat for accuracy. It was a perfect med rare. No sauce was offered. I was downright tickled pink that my steak was bursting with flavor with a tasty bark over top. Little fat on the ribeye with nice marbling. No sauce was required. The sweet potato was good, but I question if it was put together as trained with a lump of brown sugar. In any event I enjoyed. My wife was very satisfied with her shrimp entree and the steamed broccoli was crisp. Brooke checked on us in less than 10 minutes after the arrival of entrees. She was so on top of everything making this an even better experience for my birthday. As a matter of fact a nearby table had a celebration with lit candle in a martini glass and thankfully no chanting occurred... ha! At just over the hour mark we requested our bill and declined desert from Brooke. The tab was accurate and with a 22% tip ran just under $90. In my opinion the value was worth the price. I saw no GM activity at any table which could have elevated this review to a 5 even with the disappointment of bread. The restaurant is without question well managed. An observation was that they were adequately staffed for servers and short on bussing as empty tables were around us pending to be wiped down. When departing at 6:55 they were still on wait as well curbside activity continued. Longhorn is a Darden Group property with a formidable steak portfolio which includes Capitol Grill and Ruth's Chris. Although chain they know what they are doing in the steak department. I've been a fan of Darden for years. I a tried to complete the survey on the receipt which I never do with chance at a $100 gift card. The page would not load. A solid 4 stars fits for this visit and I look forward to returning. read more

For the price and atmosphere, you would think that the food would be top tier. Honestly, the only thing that was good was the service. We were a party of 12 and our waitress was so patient with us. 10/10 for her. Food - I got the house salad and one of our friends got the cesar salad; they drenched our salad with dressing, to the point where neither of us couldn't finish it. it was just too much. my husband and I got steak (dont remember which one we got), asked for medium rare and I kid you not, it was rare. Someone else from our table got the crusted parmesan chicken I believe and she couldn't even take a second bite out of it. it was very overwhelming. pretty much everyone in our table didnt like their food & neither of us wanted to bring it to go. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced. We sat in the bar area, which was kind of busy. Bartender took our drink order and brought us a loaf of bread, without a knife to cut it. We waited for several minutes without any acknowledgment. As he was delivering food to an adjacent table, I asked for utensils so we could enjoy the bread, which is usually very good. He hustled off and I thought that surely we would be able to cut the bread soon. He showed up behind the bar without giving us even the slightest hint of utensils. I approached the bar and asked again. Immediate attitude telling me to be patient. He handed me the utensils, I went back to my table, and waited for appetizer we had ordered. It was delivered by someone. I asked my check and a manager. She was a service manager and acknowledged my complaint about the bartender. My husband and I decided to come back because he enjoyed his food as well. And it was just as good as the last. Definitely my go to dish. I hadn't been to Longhorn Steakhouse in quite a while so last month, we decided to have a date night at Longhorn. We arrived around 8pm on a Friday night and even though it was a little packed, we only had to wait about 5-10 mins until we were seated. Our waitress, Wendy, was awesome and started our order right away! We decided to start with some cocktails and ordered the " The Perfect" Margarita! They have great portion sizes for their margaritas and they tasted great! The complimentary bread was outstanding. It tasted very fresh and was served warm with softened butter. We definitely ate the first loaf in the matter of minutes...and asked for another lol. For our entree, we decided on Ribeyes cooked Medium. When requesting a Medium cooked steak, most restaurants either under cook it or over cook it but our steaks were cooked PERFECTLY and were seasoned so very well. The broccoli was also seasoned wonderfully and the loaded baked potato was amazing! Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and made our dining experience that much more better!!! Overall the food was okay , however my salad was served in a dirty bowl. Our server wasn't that attentive to our service , and it took about 10 minutes to receive our drinks. This visit was a mess from start to finish. There would be a host to seat you but he also does bussing when it's busy to clean tables for more availability during rush hours. After waiting for him like few minutes, we got seated and It took forever just to place our order, and when food finally started coming out after almost an hour, my ribeye steak was cold when it arrived, and the porterhouse was so overly seasoned it was barely edible. It was way too salty and too much peppers. On top of that, we had to wait a long time just to get the check and ended up paying from our phone. I had to ask for attention from the server just to get my food corrected, and the response felt rushed and uncaring. Also the french onion soup was horrible.
