Came in yesterday afternoon during happy hour I ended up getting the 10 piece wings I got half spicy garlic and half mango habanero bone in wings. And I got a Long Island iced tea ended up getting 2 of them because it was so good. My husband got their cheese steak sandwich it was super small but he said it was good. When we came in we were not greeted or anything even when we sat down at the bar area . When we came in there was only a few people in the restaurant at the time but by the time we left there was more people then when we got there. The restaurant was clean, the bar tender was nice and made sure we were taken care of. When I got my wings some of them weren't hot or even warm and some of them were warm and some were hot temperature wise. Normally when we come in all the wings when I get them are HOT to the touch but this time they weren't at all. 10 or more tables and booths are open. After waiting for more than an hour, I asked to speak to the manager because we were to be seated more than 30 minutes ago. He tells me 7 people called out sick. He says I can have a seat and wait, and that talking to me is just making the wait longer. I've been standing for over an hour. I said "no, I'm crossing my name off the list", and the Manager says "perfect". No apology, or any kind of polite regret over the situation. Because of his attitude, I'm calling BS. Definitely a solid place to catch a game. I'm not a huge beer person, but if you are they have a wide variety! I often go for a cider. I'm pretty sure they have mixed drinks too. The food is bomb, and it goes way beyond "wings" but honestly, I usually get wings - because in the names of the place, right??? I feel obligated in some way... maybe because I do t have wings very often? idk... but their burgers and other foods are good too. Hard to go wrong with whatever. As crazy as this sounds, it seems as if I only step foot into a "Buffalo Wild Wings" (a.k.a. "B-Dubs") once every 10 years and now I know why. Their wings are the ONLY real winner here while all the food items is honestly just average at best. However, this place seems to always get its fair share of customers. The location I am focusing on is in the heart of Citrus Heights at the Sunrise Marketplace where you will find a ton of eateries, retail stores, and many other businesses that serve the public. However, this city in general lacks a serious amount of large scale restaurants that serves food and drinks as there are many more options north in Roseville. Located directly on Sunrise, this Buffalo Wild Wings neighbors many other popular eateries including Texas Roadhouse, Red Lobster, and Chuck-E-Cheese. I came here with my lady during the evening of Thursday 7/3/2025 at around 6:15pm. Surprisingly, there was a lot of customers dining here. To me, the inside of this place leaves a lot to be desired. The lighting seems to have a rather outdated look to it while much of the decor and bar area is similar to that of an Applebee's or even a Denny's. Keep in mind that they did open back in 2010 but from the looks of it, nothing has been done to keep the inside looking modern. However, there is a ton of seating for very large parties, lots of TV's for viewing sporting events, and a respectable outdoor patio. As I mentioned, the wings here are absolutely delicious, tender, packed with flavor, and a huge assortment of sauces that range from mild, sweet, savory, and downright spicy. They also offer specials on traditional wings, boneless wings, and everything else chicken-related. However, their non-wings items consists of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, desserts, and a ton of beer options. Since it was just the two of us, we decided on splitting an order of their "House Sampler" (priced at $18.99 as of mid-2025). This sampler consisted of breaded boneless wings, nachos, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. Our server did a good job bringing us iced waters, menus, and explaining some of the specials. Within about 7-8 minutes after placing our order, our food comes out and everything is piping hot. The food itself tasted fine but was just average to me. The mozzarella sticks tasted as if they were frozen and heated up in the air fryer while the nachos were just blah to me. And the onion rings were eerily similar to what you'd get at Jack-in-the-Box. But the wings had excellent breading with super tender white meat in the chicken. If I was ONLY rating the wings, it would be a 4.5 out of 5. But the other food items brings down the overall taste experience. Keep in mind, this place can get loud to a point where you're shouting at the top of your lungs. Even more so when they televise major sporting events. I'm not much of the sports bar + comfort food person as much as I used to be but I would much rather go to a "BJ's Brewhouse" or "YardHouse" for a much better dining experience. However, this is about as good as it gets in Citrus Heights. With just average food, good service, and a someone depressing interior, I am giving the Citrus Heights "Buffalo Wild Wings" just an average three-star rating. read more

My wife and I wanted to watch MNF when the 49ers played the Panthers. We chose Buffalo Wild Wings as we hadn't been there for some time (since they had a hot wings eating promo-impressed my kids that I finished in the time allowed). Upon entry, we were pleased to see the game on nearly every screen, even in line. The wait was a little bit, but the staff was friendly and efficient in trying to seat everyone. The restaurant and bar had plenty of seating, was well lit, and screens all around so viewing was great from nearly every angle. We elected to go to the bar area instead and easily found seating where we watched the game without feeling crowded. Macy was our server and she was quick and friendly with our drinks and food. There were Niners fans throughout and while they got loud, it added to the atmosphere as no one was overly obnoxious or offensive just enthusiastic. I've never been to this location before I've always been to a Buffalo Wild Wings and always had pretty good experiences. When I walked in the young man told me that I would be seated shortly. I got a great seat for the Monday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys vs the Las Vegas Raiders. I had no idea what I was gonna eat, but the menu was in front of me. Let's go crazy! He took my order for my drinks really quick brought him out very fast. He was a great waiter! First of all, I tried the buffalo chicken tater tots. They were delicious. The flavor was just all there the buffalo and the chicken. The tater tots were nice and crunchy. It was super yummy! So I watched a little football and then I decided what am I gonna do next? Oh I know let's try the tater tot puffs now this is four or five. I think it was five big tater tots that came out on the plate. It had two really good sauces and it came with. I think one is called the B dub and the other one might've been the basic ranch but the B dub sauce is really really yummy! So those got me through about another quarter or so, and then onto my next yummy decision, what am I gonna have next so I put the two dips aside so I could have whatever I was gonna have next and was able to dip those and yep it had to be deep fried pickles. I'm not gonna lie. I was a little disappointed in how many deep-fried pickles you get for the amount of money you were paying, but it was good anyway! Dipping them in the b dub was super yummy. That sauce is really really good. Fourth-quarter came out. I decided it was time for dessert. What am I gonna do? Should I do the cheesecake? Maybe a cookie who knows all right time for decision let's go with the cookie ice cream whipped cream so good came out of a nice hot pan and it definitely topped off the fourth quarter. Very full of flavor and lots of us! All in all this was definitely a five star visit. The service was really good. The restaurant was really clean. The booth was clean. We are regular customers of bww but God forbidddd this location get a little busy because it is HARD to get any service, these servers get tunnel vision and don't acknowledge new customers when they're having a busy day. We love coming to bww and we honestly have had great experiences at this location when it's very slow.. Our food comes out hot and our servers have been great, specifically an Asian man wearing a head band I hate that I don't know his name but he is the best server! He has helped us a couple of times and is so good at his job! I believe his name was Dean The last time we came we were totally ignored at the bar for at-least 10 minutes so we left. This time it's a little busy and the same thing is happening as Im Writing this review. Bar area seating is first come first serve so We sat at a table that had a box from a next door restaurant that we assumed someone left and instead of the server asking if we've been helped she said "someone was sitting here that's why the box was here, but it's okay" Obviously it wasn't okay if you made a comment and walked off.I said oh I assumed someone left it on accident. So we moved tables and not a single acknowledgment from her or anyone else besides that. I believe the employee was saving the table for her or someone she knows, but I can only assume based on how she treated us. We found out her name was mikayla, not sure if that is accurate info. Maybe the manager can confirm if they give two shits to read these reviews. The staff run around with their heads cut off if they have more than 4 tables, where I'm from bww STAYS busy regularly and they handle it well. I think this place just cannot handle a busy day very well. That's the only time we have a bad experience. We just got our food and it's piping hot which I really appreciate, so that's a huge plus. Service was great today tho Michaela seemed to be the only server for 5 or 6 tables. Typically service has been awful since Covid. We very rarely go here any more as our order is usually messed up and/or food is not really good. Last night hubby and I decided to give it another try and ordered wings for pick up. He ordered boneless wings which he said were very over done but sauce was good. I ordered bone in wings with a rub as I normally do. Everything ordered was our usual order. Let me say that if you are going to charge us almost $50 for 20 wings they better be more than good! This was our worst order yet. My 10 wing were so dry and burnt, any meat that may have been there was shriveled up, tastes so burnt I couldn't even taste the rub, and it hurt my mouth to chew . After trying to swallow 5 of the shards of burt chicken, I had to throw the other 5 out. The most expensive disappointment I have had yet. I ordered the plain chicken and it was the most disgusting piece of frozen chewy gummy bear "chicken" I've ever seen. Service is fine. Tuesdays have buy one get one wings half off up to 15. This location is disgusting, especially the bathroom, my son went to the urinal and there was a pee soaked carpet underneath it and the stalls were far worse. It looked like someone had recently thrown up all over the walls and there were poop stains all over the toilets. I tried to bring it to the managements attention and was brushed off. Then the food took forever to arrive and I noticed many of the other workers and managers were standing around doing nothing when my poor server seemed to be the only one working. We usually have a quick wait and a good time when we come here. Unfortunately we came by on a Sunday afternoon to find at least a 30 minute wait when there were numerous table available. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but it was quite uncomfortable sitting near the door. Each time someone came in, the cold air blew in and gave me chills. Each time new customers came into the door and they were told at least a 30 - 45 minute wait, they would leave. I must have seen at least 25 - 30 people leave due to the wait. Once we were finally seated, we were rushed to order and rushed to leave. I did not enjoy this visit at all. We shared the nachos and boneless wings as we were told the oven was broken and certain items were not available. This was also disappointing, because my husband enjoyed the pizza, but they could not cook it. Really it's a 2.5 for me. Summary of issues: Excessively loud, dirty floors, dirty restrooms, late delivery for one of our burgers, failure to describe primary menu components online. We arrived at 5pm on a Sunday. Despite being below 30% capacity the place was SO loud that it was difficult to have a conversation. First they were playing music AND sports but eventually they turned off the music and turned up the TV volume. They set us up by a loud group of football fans, most likely to make it easier for the wait staff, but that just made it even more difficult for us to talk. I could barely even understand half of what the waitress was saying. I just waited for her to look at me and then I kinda yelled my order and hoped she didn't have questions. Despite having so many empty tables, they didn't have the staff to sweep up the floors around the empty tables. The restroom was dirty, with towel and soap dispensers hanging crooked. I got a feeling that no one cared about the place at all. One of our burgers arrived late, so late that the kids were already done eating and some of us were sharing bits of our food while he was waiting for his burger to arrive. Lastly, I was disappointed to find brisket on my dirty dubs tots because I wasn't expecting it. I checked the menu online and it wasn't obvious to me that the tots came with meat. The picture is too dark to see what all the stuff is and nowhere on the ordering page did I see brisket listed as a component. I didn't read the restaurant menu because I had already made my decision based on the online menu. Buffalo Chicken tots clearly stats in the name that there is meat, but I had no way of knowing there would be steak on the dirty dub tots. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't like the texture of steak meat. I had to pull a few fatty, rubbery pieces off which my brother ended up eating while waiting for his burger. If you like sports and TVs, well they have TONS of TVs all over the place. SO many TVs. Just really isn't a place to go have quality time with family. It's more like a sports bar. Flavor of the food was OK, except I wasn't a fan of the mac and cheese. It's just not even worth it to eat out anymore. No one cares, no one tries.
