My wife and I met Mo, he told us about the brisket special. It sounded too good. We ordered that and split the spicy chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Even my espresso martini. Usually people put way too much alcohol in it. This one was perfect. Even the bathrooms are clean as heck. They were so amazing, left them a $20 tip. This place is a hidden gem!! Don't pass it by! Location might surprise you but make sure you go in! Great prices and atmosphere. Super cute rustic interior. Tons of seating inside and a patio outside. The food was phenomenal! We met the owner and he mentioned some of his favorites - we tried it all. The Mac and cheese is super good and very Smokey. The chili is a MUST get - so delicious!! Bang bang shrimp are amazing - that sauce is to die for. Get them as an appetizer or as a taco. Special was the brisket plate - absolutely great! Raiders! Definitely a Raiders bar. Went on first preseason game of 2026 and it was lit! Everyone was having a great time. The bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Just came for the first time and let me say I am not certain if I would come or recommend to others.. the drinks were mediocre and the service was not good at all. The food itself was the worst thing I've had ever honestly.. the vibe on the inside just is not welcoming. My girls and I had the carne asada fries, the came out freezing cold.. after 25 minutes. We didn't get the servers name but she did not come to check in on us once. We sent the food back and it came out 5 minutes later and could tell it was microwaved and still after that they were lukewarm not even hot. Not remade either.. just now soggy and warm.. our fries were reheated or just sat under the heating lamp so the sour cream and the toppings were now just soaked into the fries.. the sauce was some type of mustard sauce and does not belong on the carne asada fries... not to mention we paid an extra $6 for a teaspoon of brisket...again after getting our food the server/bartender still then did not check in on us; we couldn't even finish the fries.. we then flagged down our server/bartender for the check and it seemed as if she just did not want to talk to us, serve us, or anything the service was slow until we asked for the check, and she practically sprinted for the check. I just think this place could really thrive if they made some changes... overall experience 4/10 looking forward to going back and having a better experience! read more

We can't believe it took us this long to try Shenanigans because we'll definitely be back. The beer was ice cold, the tatchos were absolutely delicious, and the quesadilla and carnitas taco were so good we ate them before I could even snap a photo. There are plenty of TVs if you're looking to catch a game, and the overall vibe is perfect for hanging out without feeling rushed. The bartender was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They also have a pool table, though we didn't get a chance to play since we were in a bit of a hurry. All around a great spot with good food, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Sorry we waited so long to come here, but glad we finally did. read more

ordered the steak melt and it was horrible. not what was expected at all. i assumed that BBQ meant fresh, not reheated.

Bartender was friendly and poured good pour. However, she never returned to ask if we wanted a refill. Sat at a table. Ordered food to go. The cook didn't deliver us our food to our table even though we had a food number... so our food sat at the bar for at least 10 minutes.... Empty drinks. The food was just very mediocre. BUT my salad had a fruit fly and a spider looking bug I also didn't get dressing. I didn't tell my husband or grandma that I saw the bugs because they are both starving and I knew that it would totally ruin their appetite. Lettuce was starting to rot.... I met my husband here back when it was the couch lounge and they had BOMB food then. We wanted to return just for memory sake. I think it's safe to say that we probably won't be returning. Definitely think you also need a second bartender. Not sure if the cook was the owner, but he was more worried about hanging out with his friends and having a smoke in the back when the bartender could've had help. read more

The bar was advertising a 90s brunch on FB so my friend and I decided to check it out. This spot used to be The Couch and just recently changed ownership. The menu was limited but they had a few good items. I went with the avocado toast and unlimited mimosas. The mimosas were pre mixed and when you wanted a refill you hear to the counter. The bar was super packed and table service wasn't the best. I had to wave someone down after 30mins to take my order. Events like these they might think about getting more staff to assist because it was pretty frustrating. The food was good and the music was great. The Dj played all the good 90s jams. The Food.. horrible.. I am sorry .. I was served cold tasteless French toast and undercooked potato.. there were 4 of us in our group and none of us were happy with our food ! I reordered a different food choice and though it was slightly better.. The fish and chips.. the fish pieces were so small and the coleslaw was a tasteless waste of space on the plate wow .. the fish and chips were edible however at $16.99 it wasn't worth it for 3 small pieces of fish nuggets and fries.. SMH .. the service was ok , nothing special nor did anyone check to see if we needed anything other than to keep asking if we wanted to order more drinks smh .. the atmosphere was lively and festive so they get points for that .. Dishonest and disappointing!!! Ordered an American burger with bacon...WELL done (reason is their menu states burgers come Medium). Burger arrived barely medium. We came here after el tapatio's brunch was packed on a sunday. We hadn't been here since it changed from the couch so we figured we would try it since we live close. So we came in to maybe 8 other people watching football, its worth noting there were more flies in the room then people, that shouldve been the sign to leave. But for whatever reason we still sat down at the bar to watch the 49ers game. And we ordered 2 of the 6 items, i ordered tri-tip scramble with potatoes and a over medium egg. After we ordered, the plastic utensils were given to us (sign #2 to run). Our orders came and so did my dry tri-tip, overcooked (non runny) eggs and potatoes that almost broke my plastic fork. My wife had the biscuits and gravy and our kids could've made something better,no flavor, plain, just bad. Also worth noting, the flies were so bad that my wife had to put a coaster over her bloody mary glass to keep them out, which i might add that it tasted "off" too, it felt like it had too much of something or maybe was just expired. I had ordered the bottomless mimosas because i figured we were going to be there for the full 49ers game, but we left in the 2nd quarter and ran home. We felt like we were in an episode of bar rescue, but unfortunately we weren't and now this visit will live in our nightmares for years to come. And wouldn't you know it, i got food poisoning, throwing up for a solid hour, i couldnt leave the bathroom it was awful. This place is definitely a mood, a vibe, a scene....however you wish to characterize it. There are definitely a set of regulars, and that's cool, but this is the type of (supposed) sports bar where people come to get happy drunk....that may annoy nearby customers (i.e. me). The pulled pork sandwich was ok...but was missing the cole slaw. The fries were inconsistently cooked. So, food is a "meh." Long story short, this is a "dive" for the regulars to enjoy on a weekly basis to get sloshed. As this advertises as somewhat of a sports bar, I asked to change a channel to the obscure station of ESPN. The bartender said sure, and two hours later after frequent convos with her regulars, she never got to it. So...I was stuck watching the XFL on multiple screens. The Couch also has several flat screens all throughout the bar. We ordered drinks and several appetizers to share - The Couch Sliders w/a house salad, onion rings, and garlic parmesan chicken wings. Our drinks were great and the food was really good. I do have one critique for the sliders - the meat itself had no flavor. She was the only person working aside from maybe two people in the kitchen. bartending, waiting tables, cleaning etc. The place got super packed and one point and this poor girl was working her ass off!!!! We first used them and their pizza truck at a corporate event. They were super friendly and fast and delicious. We just tried them at their location in Citrus Heights to try their barbecue for our next corporate event. Super surprising that a sports bar like this has delicious food! Went for the 90s R&B brunch and I don't think they anticipated as many people coming that did. We got there around 11:30 and the event started at 11. Not a single table available and was already so packed. They only had one server for the entire restaurant which bless her heart she was doing amazing for being the only one!! I hope home girl took home ALL those tips because shoot. It took an hour to get our food which we debated on leaving prior to getting our food but as soon as we said that our food came out. The staff was so nice with how busy it was but if they hold another event like this one I don't think I will be attending again. And they are very nice here. And the bathrooms are nice and private and clean. I don't care for the fan blowing though when it is cold outside. The fries were kind of stuck together at the end with the melted cheese. Which made it hard to eat at the end. There was not enough ranch dressing for the salad. parking is easy though. read more
