Short staffed is when you can't run a functional restaurant and there was only one table and 10 people sitting at the bar, a manager should be ashamed if they cannot handle and additional 3 people. When you arrive at Bdubs, they will tell you that there is an hour wait and that it will take 30 minutes for food to arrive out of the kitchen. It is like they are trying to scare you away from eating here. When you arrive in the resturant, you will find many open tables that are closed off. Traditional wings will come out overcooked after waiting for 30 minutes and then you have to wait another 30 minutes for a fresh batch to be prepared. Boneless wings will come out but they will not be the flavor you ordered. Again, 30 minute wait for the first batch then another 30 minute wait for the correct batch. Your appetizer will arrive after your entree has been delivered. Waitress/waiter will not prebus your table so dishes will pile up on your table. When you have finally had enough of the shenanigans and say something to the manager, the wait staff will stand around and talk about you. If you are lucky, for all of the issues, you might get a 50% discount. Many of the seats in the facility look like what is in the photo. This Bdubs is going downhill. Their claim is that they are having staffing issues, however, it just seems like a poorly run resturant to me. Even during the pandemic, we never received service this horrible! read more

This is a hard review for me to do because I do go here all of the time and still go here a lot. The reason I give it such a low review is because the food here is just not why you come here and if you do it's like specifically for wing nights and stuff like that. Their regular stuff like burgers and what not are not really worth the prices. The thing that they do very well on is their different sauces for their wings. I think if they upped their wing standers and it would be combined with their sauce menu they would have some really top tier game, but that's not the case. Again this is a place I do go to a lot, but it's a place that you go with a large group of friends and can get seated. So I know they put alcohol in the drink but at the Englewood Bull$#/+ Zoo so I told them about it and the response was they use the corporate mix recipe which is orange juice in a glass So I asked for a shot of vodka to help it out willing to pay for it. Then I get it and they served it in a shot glass so thick you could use it to magnify an ant's eyeball . I have been a huge fan of BW3 for years. Since there are no locations nearby I actively seek them out when on the road. Sadly, my love for their food is a double-edged sword. (Triple-edged if you look at my gut.) Almost every BW3 dining experience suffers from some major flaw. The wings will be overcooked. Or undersauced. Mozzarella sticks will still be hard in the middle, or just downright empty tubes because all the cheese melted out. Not at this location! Absolutely every aspect of the meal, from being greeted at the door through service and quality of the food was on point. My girlfriend even looked at me during the meal and mentioned that we haven't had such a great BW3 experience in years. (Get out of my head!) I went so far as to ask for the manager and congratulate her on such a well run location. All of this on Memorial Day, when many establishments have staffing issues. This is use to be favorite place of mine to go for lunch, but that has changed. The last few visits were just plain horrible. My recent visit was slow to be seated, it took 14 minutes to get a table and this was 3:00 in the afternoon and it want really that busy. The server was slow getting drink order another 6 minutes after I was seated. She took my order. 15 minutes to get order. Food was hot and good. Drink refills were brought to table quickly. This isn't so much a review against BW3 in Englewood, as it is the patrons who park illegally in the Tim Horton's Parking Only spots, including Tim Horton's Handicapped Parking. I'm sixty with a disability and find it very hard to walk, but tonight all the Tim Horton's Handicapped Parking spots were filled with BW3 patrons. Difficult to find a parking spot, challenge to walk that far when we did find a spot, and there was zero patrons in the Tim Horton's. All the Handicapped Parking Spots were taken up by BW3 patrons. I have frequented this BW3's location for years and had considered this to be one of the best in the Dayton area. However I now believe that this restaurant has begun to have some serious problems - especially in the kitchen. It's main specialty is wings and tonight they couldn't seem to get things right after 2 tries. When the wings I ordered came, I felt they were undercooked. I have never had this issue before. I had also ordered them "wet" (extra sauce) and didn't get that. The waiter returned them to the kitchen and about 20 minutes later another plate of wings came out. This time they were cooked fine but again had very little to no sauce on them. They failed my request for "wet" wings both times. The service was great, the appetizer was OK and the fries were great. However, when you screw up your main dish (and specialty twice over), it leaves a lot to be desired. I will not visit this location again. read more
