I only stopped in here for an appetizer but everything was fantastic. The hostess was awesome and very kind, welcoming and friendly. He told us about the specials for the day and sat us in our preferred seating area (a booth). Our waitress was also very nice and helpful with the menu. They have a lot of choices. We opted for the platter of nachos to share since we wanted something quick. The food was 5/5 and ready very quickly. I would highly recommend! Used to like this restaurant. Last two visits not so much. Went there with wife and 2 teenage grandchildren. Ordered onion rimgs at same time as drinks. After 30 minutes, no rings. Ordered entrees and rings came at same time as rest of the meal. The rimgs wer not made in house as they had been before. Premade frozen if I had to guess. Breading was too perfect to be housemade. Entrees were acceptable but not as we remembered. Will seek a different restaurant in the future. read more

Came here on 5/4/24 for dinner with family. Seated promptly in a window booth without reservations. The fried pickles were a hit--crispy and flavorful. My husband and I split the Baja tacos and they were very delicious. However, our meal took a turn when a hair was found in the Rueben ordered by my in-laws. My husband and I came to the Rusty Bucket for lunch hoping for delicious food and excellence customer service. It took almost ten minutes for our server to come take our drink orders. When she came back with our drinks we ordered. My husband got the Ruben and said it was ok but not worth price. I had the nachos with chicken and though it was a good portion size, it was honestly gross. Not sure what kind of cheese they used on it but it was thick and the taste was horrible. Good food and good service. We liked their fish & chips and Rueben sandwiches. One problem. We ordered fried pickles as an appitizer. They just came out of the frier and were just as hot as the oil they were fried in. I've never burned my mouth this badly before. Five days later and the roof of my mouth is still sensitive to hot liquids. Talked to the manager and he seemed indifferent and said all food is hot when it comes from the kitchen. Went here to watch a football game on a Saturday afternoon. We had a couple rounds of beers and then ordered dinner. My salmon Caesar salad was very good. Used to be really good, but this location is going down hill. Two in our party got a NY strip which has always been excellent in the past. This time both had hardly any sear on the outside and were even cold to the touch. Sent them back to be seared more. They came back slightly better, but the steak was just tough and tasteless, did not taste fresh at all. I've never had a bad meal at Rusty Bucket. Decided to dine here with my family because the menu looked pretty good. However, our experience could have been better. After being seated, we waited about 10 min and no one came to the table to greet us. I had to let the host know that we had not been waited on. Furthermore, the drinks were great. I definitely recommend the draft bucket punch ! The quesadilla I had was really good, just wish there was salsa that came with it. We stopped in here after being on the road all day, and it was decent! The fare is definitely pub food with a few more options than you would normally find at a bar (I think a few of us ordered pastas, wings, soups, sandwiches, etc). I had the french onion soup, and it was good. Nothing to write home about in terms of flavor, but I did enjoy it. I'm giving this place three stars because the consensus among all of us was that we definitely got what we came for, but it wasn't amazing. I'd definitely come back and try a burger, and definitely grab another french onion soup. It's great for groups as the place is huge with some outdoor seating that is also covered for more options during the winter months. My wife and kid left me alone this evening so I made my way over to Rusty Bucket, Restaurant, and Tavern. I chose to sit at the bar this evening. I was greeted by two awesome bartenders by the name of Sam and Madi!! These two worked really well together. The chicken finger BLT, which is not on the menu, UNLESS you ask nicely. It's literally the only thing I have ever eaten at this place since it opened a number of years back. Once again, the sandwich here was flawless and the service was outstanding! Buffalo chicken sandwich is always good to me to where I have a hard time branching out. I got onion rings tonight for the first time and they were great and probably in the top 3 of the best I've had. My picky eater 5yr old ate half of them and she has always refused to eat onions. She was tearing them up lol. Our waitress was in training and did great. She didn't seem to need much, if any assistance from her trainer while we were there. Once again, Yelp delivered! Atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Many TVs and we were able to get the game we wanted at the TV at above our table - nice!
