They all seemed on edge but were trying their hardest to be nice. The food was less than sub par. Two bandmates and I stopped in for a quick bite before going to work. We thought this was the place, but we should've gone anywhere else. Sections of the restaurant were closed, and there was a large group, a baseball team I'd guess, but they were already eating, so we thought that we'd be in and out with not much else going on. NOT! The waitress was nice enough at first. We even good naturedly laughed at her joke about Mexicans being used to spicy because we asked about spice levels. One of us is half Honduran half white, and I like spicy, but not before a gig. LOL! Order in and the wait begins. At some point we begin to wonder where our waitress and food were. I mean, at best, it takes 20 minutes to cook wings and our soft drinks had been consumed. We were about to ask for our waitress when the food arrived about 35 minutes later, and it was not good. Our food had to have been sitting back there for at least 15 minutes. It was cold and my fries looked like the staff had been eating them because maybe they thought it was fair game because it must have sat there so long. All that was left were the smaller crumb-like ones that hardly anyone eats. The food wasn't even brought by our waitress, AB. So we asked for the manager, and that's when AB made her appearance and the manager, Dominic, right behind her. We found out he was the general manager later. We told him what happened, and he said he'd take care of it right away. Twenty or so minutes later, still no making it right. No apologies, no drink refills, no nothing. Twent-5 minutes later, he is at the bar, talking to the bartender, and one of our party went to ask what the holdup was. It was getting late and we needed to get to work. I said, "We should just go." Another manger with him said that they were just waiting on fresh fries. Really? That's the excuse after another 25 minutes? After a sec, we told the manager we're leaving, to which he flippantly replied, "Have a nice day." We left, upset about the whole experience but found a place down the road, Daddy's. A drive through seafood and chicken place. Fast, friendly, and we were able to scarf our food just in time to high tail it to work. Upon arrival, the parking lot was clean with ample parking. As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a smile by the hostess. The dining room was extremely clean. I chose to sit at the bar because I was dining solo. I was immediately greeted by the bar tender who was very nice, attentive, and moved with intensity as she served everyone at the bar alone. I ordered 6 Caribbean Jerk bone in wings, 6 honey barbecue wings served with ranch dressing, and tater tots. As I waited for my order, I had an ice-cold Bud Light bottle of beer and another one shortly afterwards to compliment my meal. The food came out within 10 minutes, and everything was served hot. The tater tots were cooked to golden brown, not soggy, and with a touch of salt. The barbeque wings. 3 flats, and 3 drums were well cooked and not dry. The barbeque sauce was sweet with a touch of honey and the sauce did not overpower the taste of the wings. Used to work here as a cook for 2.5 years and a manager for 2.5 years. It was as bad for me as it was for the customers. Part of the problem in this location (new building now) it was and still is situated across from 2 casinos, open until 2 am so it was hella busy at all times.Day, night all week long just nonstop. Mathematically the kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand and the kitchen wasn't large enough, on top of the terrible conditions and expectations for staff. I have actually done the numbers back in the day and it's just a terrible business model. Basically there are only so many fryers and only so many wings can fit in each basket. Those wings or boneless take a specific amount of time to cook, 6.5 to 8 minutes. On a busy night in this location...in 8 minutes you will get 10-20 tickets. Each ticket will have a minimum on average of 20 wings and or boneless, in 8 minutes you may have to make 200 wings or boneless on the low end, it takes even more time to finish those tickets and IN THAT TIME there is even more coming through. This kitchen at it's peak running like a well oiled machine can't keep up. So there is a "Time deficit" on the back end of the process that compounds the whole service, so you regularly end up with 30-45 minute ticket times at peak hours and lots of unhappy unreasonable customers and rightfully so. Owners and management could care less why business is bad they just expect you to fix it without knowing why or how etc. Owner was a terrible guy, berated a server one time for not ringing in ticket because he "Couldnt put his son through college" if she didnt ring in drinks.(She didnt because it was the owner) There was a no tolerance policy on complaints, it you got complained about by name you were fired 95 percent of the time. Unless I was doing the firing then someone would go over my head and rehire people who rightfully deserved to lose their jobs for things like, leaving with all of their money and not coming back or stealing an entire 5th of Jack daniels, then I would get berated for being afraid to fire people. Unless of course the other managers didn't want to, for example, fir the 4th girl that got pregnant by another manager. Was told they didnt want to do it, turns out they had a reason because that girls Grandmother sent in a complaint about me saying "The manager that got her pregnant fired her" wasn't me that got her pregnant. Management staff is lazy as all hell, if you don't see one in 15 minutes of your visit walking around, it's because they're in the office on their rear ends feeling self important. Don't let them lie to you, they are the quintessential stereotypical manager who does what they need to do to keep their job and do as little work as possible. I was told "You have to know when to work because they watch the cameras. When they arent watching you can chill in the office." or "If you ever go against me I will Thanos snap your job." I seriously thought about writing a book but was threatened with a lawsuit after I was fired for saying things they didnt like, the manager in question thought I was talking about him. Nope, it was the other guy that had nude pictures of servers on his phone and let them sit on his lap. Granted I started to lose my sanity literally toward the end of my employment, I was going through my own problems in life on top of workings 11-12 hours days, staying on my feet , doing "Figure eights" while my coworkers shopped for new shoes in the net and gossiped in the office. I worked my butt off as a manager for two years with few long term coworkers until old heads got rehired, then I got pushed out. I wasn't appreciated, not like they could, they didnt pay attention. It was all a high school level popularity show. I was doing my job, everyones else was playing a game I probably should have been playing too, but I thought being good at your job in practice meant more than in theory. I should get over it, that was way back more than ten years now, but this isn't even a tenth of the stories I have from that place. The moral is this place has been a one star for a long time and the owner is a pretty vain, spoiled uncaring dude. When I think of Jaded by money, I think of him. Dont get me wrong I love those people and not everyone was bad, the servers and cooks and hostesses and cashiers were awesome people doing their best with what they had. It's just hard when everyone keeping the money coming in with blood sweat and tears get treated like garbage but the guys in the collared shirts forgot where they came from. I've got to say this is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. First I get there and ask for a booth. The hostess seems like the most confused and overwhelmed person in the world. She tried to explain why we couldn't get the booth that was cleaned and clear right in front of us. Appetizer got there within 10 minutes, but then as the restaurant emptied more and more, we realize it has been 50 minutes since we ordered food. It took over an hour to get the food out. Now I would understand if understaffed or anything like that. But they had the most employees I have ever seen on the floor. You have a table sitting there trying to get attention and service and nobody has the customer service to help and acknowledge. Waiters and waitresses were trying to not get tables. Nobody wants to work anymore and service is getting worse and worse. The manager apparently went to the kitchen to try and help but never came to apologize to anyone for wait times or anything. I always choose BWW for wings and drinks and sports. This place is the last place I will ever go to again. The icing on the cake was when leaving, I drove around the back. Sooo many employees outside smoking and hanging around. Didn't look like they were really working hard. Meanwhile I had to take my food to go as it was 10:35 when I finally got my food and I got there around 9:15. Then I told the waitress we wanted the check and were gonna take it to go. I have been here several times and every time I say "I'm never going back." I ordered wings and fries. They came out within minutes of ordering so I know they were just sitting under the lamps. They were room temperature and very very dry. The fries were horrible; very old. The two ranch cups served with 12 wings were not even filled halfway. When I requested another one to try to choke down the wings, they said would be an additional charge. I, essentially, only received one ramekin of ranch dressing because they were both not even half full. I don't know how they think that is sufficient for 12 wings and fries. Somehow really good wings some of them have really dry wings some of them have a good chicken sandwich and some of them have really dry chicken sandwiches. Wow where do I start with this. It been a long time since I have done a review because being a Chef going on 25 years, I am always flexible when it comes to little minor things going wrong in a restaurant or some kind of Food Establishment. But when it came this place, this was just pure negligence on a whole new level. When my family and I walked into the restaurant the first thing we noticed was the hostess ignoring us because she was watching TikTok on her phone. She even noticed we were there but instead felt she needed to finish the video first. Finally, after taking us to our seat my wife noticed a Booger on the chair, she was about to sit at but instead of getting upset she just changed out the chairs because she was already not in the mood to bring it up. When we thought things truly couldn't get any worse when the waiter brought us our menus the drink menu was completely disgusting it was sticky and greasy. when my wife brought it up, he just blew us off and said oh well I'll get another one. When we finally placed our order my wife was really looking forward to the General TSO's wings which were displayed on a giant Vinyl Sign on the outside of the establishment clearly stating they had it at the restaurant our waiter proceeded to tell us that " oh well we don't have those anymore" when my wife ask then why do you have the sign outside, he responded back " we are waiting for corporate to give us updated menus. Honestly how hard would it have been to take down the signs outside or make sure when you sit a guest your knowledge that the item is no longer in stock. Then just when you thought this night couldn't get any worse my wife ordered Everything Pretzel Knots, he said " oh well our ovens are broken so you can't order that". The employees seem not to like their jobs or maybe that's just their attitudes. I placed an order tonight and was told that my order was LOST. Really!?
