Love this Texas Road House! Been here several times, each with the same consistent food and service. The ambiance is good and is on par to all other Texas Road Houses. I always order the Rib-Eye and Shrimp Combo (Medium Rare with a Cesar Salad and French Fries). So delicious! We did curbside service, we received everything we ordered. The steaks were all very good and had great flavor. Two of us ordered a side of macaroni and cheese - that was a complete joke. It was literally some boiled elbow macaroni that they poured some type of sauce over, didn't even have a cheese taste so we don't know what that was about just that it was a disappointment. There was an order of fries with the added cheese and bacon, the cheese was just somewhat melted shredded cheese, not a cheese sauce, so that was another disappointment. The rolls with the cinnamon butter were also really good. Overall not bad, we would try it again but just avoid the Mac n cheese as well as not bothering to pay extra for cheese and bacon on the fries. I took my granddaughter to Texas Roadhouse on 19 May 26. I was leery having eaten at another steack place about a week before where my steak and her hamburger were not good at all. But at Texas Roadhouse the steak was awesome, and my granddaughter enjoyed her burger. The staff and the manager who came out and said hi were awesome. Very pleased with the resturant and dinner. I've eaten Texas roadhouse for years in many different states. Typically it's a go to. After my experience last night I would NEVER return to this lake Charles location. I've eaten fine dining to diner steaks, almost every different cut. I've never had any steak with the texture of minced potted meat. They are selling bad meat. I instantly vomited. Fantastic. Everything we had was above an 8.5. Warm fresh bread, savory hand tossed Caesar, piping hot fried onion, perfectly cooked and seasoned steak, and a mound of sautéed mushrooms. I ordered a bacon burger and it came out with hair on it. I thought well things happened but then they took it back and forgot about it. I asked the waitress to check on it like three times. When they finally brought it out the recooked the burger with the hair on it. Lol it was burnt and the bacon was burnt ithad everything I asked for it not to have on it. I was very disappointed because in H-town with never had issues with service or food. The staff is mainly younger people and all they did was talk and laugh instead of waiting on people. Well maybe it was just my waitress. The manager's came over to my table first guy made excuse and the lady fixed the issue. I always loved the food but now I'm handicap, leg/walking issues. Just know this for handicap people, this restaurant will not do curbside delivery. I have called to give credit card number to order meal, offer 25% tip but they will not carry your order to your vehicle, in the parking lot. I was in Lake Charles for three days for work. I went there the first night I got in town after a long drive. The server was so nice and knowledgeable. She brought me a gluten free menu and made some suggestions. I had a couple of cocktails, and sat back in the really cool atmosphere. The food was fantastic. 11oz sirloin smothered in mushrooms, cooked to a perfect medium. I had broccoli and a loaded baked potato. $22.50 before tip. That is amazing. I liked it so much, I went back and got the exact same thing the next two nights. As a matter of fact, my next time there, I'll do the same thing. We had the worst experience here. They sat another couple in place of us. The cactus blossom was fantastic. My husband got a ribeye and got the prime rib (this is our usual order). Both his and mine were cooked adequately in the center with one end of each raw (not undercooked). When I cut the part not cooked and sent it back the manager brought it back to the table looking just like I sent it (bleeding profusely). I told her it was not adequate and she snapped " don't you want to cut into it". She then took it back and brought it back burnt. Our waitress was hit or miss. She was unobservant about drinks and slow to get them once asked. Overall a bad experience. read more

We headed right down the road to Texas Roadhouse and thought we'd see what their wait was like...we didn't even find out because we got lucky and snagged two seats at the bar. Texas Roadhouse was once my favorite restaurant but unfortunately I've had a couple of poor service experiences as well as food not being up to par. The latest bad experience was a few days ago in Lake Charles, LA. I decided to pick out a steak that looked excellent in the glass case near the entrance. I've never done this before but that steak looked so good I decided to try it. Well, there seemed to be some confusion with our server as to how the process worked. She did take the ticket that I was given to identify my steak, BUT when my food came out it was not the steak I had picked. No way was it the beautiful piece of meat that I had picked out. My wife's chicken looked burned on the outside and very dry on the inside. I told her to send it back but she did not want to wait another 30 minutes to get it. My steak was good but it wasn't piping hot when it finally came out The server completely forgot about us. After 10 minutes of my glass being empty I actually had to get up and go find her so she could refill our glasses. On the way out I told the manager that I was disappointed with our experience. We've had much better experiences at Saltgrass lately so I think I will stick with them. read more

Second time here at this location and the service was just like the last excellent to say the least. One seated kitty or server was spot on on taking her drink orders and offering recommendations for appetizers. I normally get the same thing when I come here 8 ounce sirloin with the two sides, but this time I was in the mood for something different, so I try the filet-medallions. And wow they were amazing. I think this new dish has changed my mind on what I will get an order when I come to Texas roadhouse. Katie did a great job ensuring, our drink stayed filled the entire time and that we had everything that we needed and prepared to our liking. One thing that I do when I travel because I make sure that I bring the kids home snacks from different locations that I visit. My wife and I come here to regularly for the football games and the food, obviously, and have never had a bad time. Today was a different experience, but still extremely pleasant. We typically order a Miller and Dos Equis on draft while we sit up at the bar, complimented with their fabulous rolls and outstanding menu, but today the lines on draft tasted somewhat "dirty", so we finished our appetizer and paid our bartender as usual, this time not indulging in as many drinks as we would normally. However, after we left, my wife called the manager to alert them of the issue. In any other restaurant, you would most likely be greeted in a brazenly rude manner, but in this instance the manager (didn't grab his name, but all managers are super attentive and very friendly consistently) was more than willing to hear her out and not only that, he thanked her for bringing it to his attention and assured us he would contact the sales representative to come and take care of the issue. 10/10 experience every time we come here, even if it wasn't as expected. Management and staff always takes care of us and our needs without fail. Would 100% recommend coming and spending your money here!! read more

I understand that today was busy but our waitress was horrible. We were sat in a 2 seater right in front of the bar aprox 130pm. Our waitress never bought our drinks ( we ate our salads, chilli and bread and never got drinks until we asked a supervisor. She never checked on us besides when we had our food, she pretty much neglected us the entire time. She asked us if we wanted bread when we asked for the check and just bought our boxes and a bag, no bread. She obviously is forgetful and needs to write things down. Such a horrible experience. First let me say that Dallarie was hands down the best thing about this visit to TRH. First thing I noticed was a "14 oz Ft. Worth Ribeye" in the cooler. That thing looked like it had gotten into a fight with a dog and lost. I would have been ASHAMED to have that piece of meat in my cooler. Golden Corral would have turned it down. Appetizer was good, but the remoulade for the onion was a little gritty. Order was 2 16oz ribeyes RARE. Got one Medium Rare and one MEDIUM. Tough as tripe. Steak sauce didn't help. Good thing I have 3 dogs at the house. Dallorie offered several timescto take it back, but we were eating late already and didn't want to wait any more. Got home with the carcasses of meat that were supposed to be steaks and I was right...the dogs loved them. I hope so, it was a $40 meal for them. On a positive note, the baked potato, the salad, and the bread, were excellent. read more
