Went to B-Dubs last night. Happened to be my Birthday and there was a little World Cup Soccer match between the USA and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Of course knowing it was my B-Day, the US won. But honestly, the highlight of our night was Sarah. The place was busy and a bit understaffed. We had to wait for the kitchen to catch-up before we were seated. Hey, it happens. But Sarah our waitress apologized for the wait, took our drink orders and eventually our orders with a great smile and an even better attitude. Our orders were wrong from the kitchen and half of our food either went to another table or got lost... Who knows!? But man Sarah was on top of it. She had them redo our entire order which finally came out right & fresh. We didn't mind so much cause we were so into the soccer match but man Sarah checked on us, kept our drinks full, I got my free birthday wings. She worked it out that I got the big cookie and ice cream for our trouble. I'm glad this is our local B-Dubs and they hire great servers like Sarah. In the restaurant business things happen, long lines, short staff, messed up orders etc. But great staff, empathy a smile and amazing service ~ you earn repeat happy customers, who write reviews that champion your employees. Very disappointing got there at 8:30 on a not busy night finally got sat at 8:57 ordered food was not served until 9:42. We had to leave for a movie at 10 and ordered a cookie skillet and requested them to put it in with my food so that it would come on time server did not put it in and until after we finished our food, got the cookie skillet at 10:03 and it looked disgusting. There was like half a cookie, the sadest scoop of ice cream and barely no whipped cream very disappointing. read more

Just want to come here and say how frustrating it is to come in at 8pm on a Saturday and be quoted a 55 minute wait time for the bar side with 10 open tables. When I asked if I could go sit at the bar (that also had multiple empty seats) I was also told no. Seems like a poor business model. I understand the wait is most likely due to a staffing issue. However, it make zero sense to tell someone they can't go to the bar and wait. Since when is a bar not first come first serve? Also wouldn't you want the customer spending money while they wait 55 minute for a legit empty restaurant?! This is not the first time this has happened so I'm finally writing a review. Restaurants are about making money. Not turning people away due exorbitantly long wait time for an empty restaurant. A good rule of thumb would be seat people and let them know at the table the kitchen is running behind or something along those lines. The experience was nothing special. The employee was fine... not good, not terrible, just fine. I downed my water before my food came and was never offered a refill, which sucked. Flavors were delicious, as expected. I actually didn't know you could get carrots with wings (I thought it was just celery) so I appreciated learning something new. A friend asked for their meal in a to-go container because they had to leave soon, which they stated to the server, and unfortunately their meal was brought out LAST, after they had left. It wasn't a difficult order (chicken tenders, and maybe fries), so it was awkward that it came out last when the patron specifically said they were leaving and wanted to order it to-go. A "specialty" lemonade from the bar took longer than anticipated, but whatever. It's BDubs so you know what you're gonna get. I will say, this one probably has the freshest wings I've had in the area. Food always comes out nice and out and full of flavour. Service has been pretty good as well. Garlic Parm wings and fries with garlic parm on the side is always a winner. read more

Its my favorite spot for traditional wings. I love their Thai curry sauce. The ambience is good but I usually take to go. Tip: Every Tuesday they have buy one get one 50% off on traditional wings and Thursday on boneless wings. read more

Efficient service, especially for takeout. I love that they are bikeable from downtown Lake Orion. The cauliflower wings are surprisingly good - I tried one first and thought "I'd be fine if all I ordered were cauliflower wings." Then switching to chicken you definitely notice the difference. But even then switching back to a cauliflower wing, I still enjoyed the non-poultry version. Just recently, an order of cauliflower wings survived a trip back to our house without turning soggy - I was pleasantly surprised. As for flavors, this is mostly a note to self: -Mango habanero: starts off fairly tame but the heat builds; my favorite -Jammin jalapeño (despite not alliterating when pronounced): a close second, and my wife's favorite -Asian zing: excellent, the favorite of our middle child -Teriyaki: tasty, though my oldest though it was a bit salty -Orange: I genuinely do not remember this, so I guess that means good but not great -Thai curry: to my mind, a bit too thick and salty, but I should give it another try -Parmesan garlic: to me, this is just salty and boring -Honey BBQ: the favorite of our littlest -Sweet BBQ: somehow, our littlest thinks this is too spicy, even though it tastes mostly like corn syrup -Caribbean jerk: a little too much clove for me, but not bad read more

To me our experience was exactly what we thought it would be for BW's. Food options were a bit limited, but good. Wings are very good, IMO, which is what many people would go for. Sides and appetizers super-average bar food offerings. Server was friendly, if not a bit slow and I would not say on her A Game - apologizing for dumping a bit of my wife's beer on/near her, but not offering a fresh one or cleaning up the spill on the table. Such an amazing location to have a really disappointing Buffalo Wild Wings. The view and patio are incredible. A rare find in this part of Michigan that almost feels like traverse city with the view of the lake. This is so utterly ruined by having a Buffalo Wild Wings here instead of a really fun and exciting restaurant. Honestly would be amazing if Sagebrush bought this place and expanded. The highlight of the night was our waitress. I cannot remember her name, but she was outstanding and made the evening bearable. One of the best waitresses I have honestly had. That was the only good part besides the view. The food was absolutely sad. The Wings, although cooked okay, were some of the most dry and bland Wings I have ever had. The sauces were disappointing, although we probably didn't order well. The fries were terrible and the only decent thing was the boneless pizza flavored wings. Terrible take out experience. I have never taken the time to give a restaurant a bad review during COVID but this was awful. Ordered 10 boneless and 10 traditional wings with fries. Got there and had a B Dubbs gift card that took about 15 mins to process because they said "their machines don't do well with gift cards". The manager had to come fix it but he was very unapologetic. Got in the car, no fries. Went back, they just seemed as if it was just business as usual no big deal. They bring me a box with about 15 cold French fries in it that looked like they were cooked 12 hours ago. Tried using rewards points at this location during a take out order and was told we could only use them while dining in... today we returned to dine in and let our waitress know we were using points PRIOR to ordering, she said no problem... when the bill came she said we can only use points in take out order... let customers know prior to ordering! We arrived with a group of 25 and the manager, Daniel (Woody), was so accommodating. He didn't hesitate to quickly get tables put together for us, waters and menus placed on the tables and sent a few servers our way. Ordered for pickup and they were well over 20 minutes longer than scheduled, on top of that they seemed to think I did not place an order....even though one server verified it right when I arrived. Got the food home and there was so much wrong. The salad barely had any salad.....the chicken on the salad was cold and chewy....soggy lettuce. The portion of fries was a joke AND they were colder than this review. The wings were cold also, not frozen, but not even close to pleasant. Love the Lake Orion location. Must grab a seat on the outside deck when it's nice! It's one of the only restaurants with a view of the water around here. Kids love the game area they provide here and their food is great along with the price. read more

We came to support the Lake Orion Optimist club, a organization the helps give scholarships to needy students. We enjoyed our food choices. I especially loved my pulled pork sandwich. It was so moist an had a wonder smoky flavor. My hubby had the traditional fare of Buffalo Wings, half regular, and hall boneless Both equally tasty This was my first time this restaurant and it was a good experience . Afterwards I noticed a big outdoor patio overlooking a lake. What a beautiful picture . Next visit we'll be eating our dinner on the patio. 20% of our dinner price will be donated to the lake Orion Optimist Club . Place was full of people here to give their support. read more

Have been here several times and the food is always average at best. This visit the wings fell well below my "average at best" expectations. The boneless wings came out with very little sauce on about half my order and no sauce on the other half. I had to ask twice for additional sauce. Once I received the sauce my waitress stated there were only 4 people in the kitchen and they were backed up. Not sure why she would even serve the wings that way to begin with.
