This is one of those places where the food quality is a hit or miss. Some days they serve good wings and some days they serve nasty dried up wings with a splash of sauce but the atmosphere is usually great. Service is good too. Our server got us every thing we ordered and regularly checked our table if we needed any water, drinks or more food. Pretty Good, Considering Sports bars are not my usual thing, but I had a hankering for some wings. Plus, I'm on a bit of a mission to find the best wings in mid-Pinellas. Buffalo Wild Wings holds the current lead. The place is a bit dark and loud. Service is somewhat chaotic. I tried a couple cocktails and they were only OK. Probably best to stick with the beer. Here's the good and the bad. First, we knew we were ordering burgers from a place known for chicken. But it was National Burger Day and they offered BOGO's $12.49. Can you go wrong with a burger and side for $6.25? We ordered from the app. You have to choose any of 7 toppings. One of those being the bun. The others grilled onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mayo and mustard and choice of cheese. There is not an option for raw onion or ketchup. Also, there isn't an option for the "cook" of the burger.... Pink, medium, well. The options for included sides, without an up charge, are fries, chips and salsa, carrots and celery. There isn't an option for fries to be well done. I was surprised at the size of the burger. It has two large patties. Ample toppings. Soft bun. However, the burger had no seasoning whatsoever! In fact, it wasn't the best tasting beef burger. The flavor just wasn't there. We had to wait at the counter a considerable amount of time before acknowledged. Then we waited even longer for our food. Which by this time was a lot later than our supposed "ready for pick up" time. Overall, as the saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans." First time, and the last time here. We have never been here before so we thought we would try it out. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings. It took an extremely long time for our order to arrive. As we were famished we dug into the onion rings, and alas they were over done and hard. We brought this to the attention of our server Sarah, only to be told, " yeah they're busy back there." Finally our meals came out. My Bride had the all American cheeseburger, which was huge, and very good according to my wife. I had ordered 10 traditional wings and an Asian sauce, medium heat. Sadly again my wings were way over cooked. At times it felt like I was eating bones. The sauce was very tasty. When Sarah dropped off our check the onion rings were still included. We left all the onion rings in the container that it came in. Both hosts' were very nice and cheerful. They received us and walked us to our table. *The atmosphere was very nice and mellow. *Tables and booth looked cleaned. *Bathrooms we're clean! (That's a Plus!) Our Waiter was Dylan he was awesome! He was on point with us! From the drinks to our orders and even with everyone's different "likes" of sauces! He constantly came back to ask how we were, how everything was going and giving us our refill! Dessert came around and He recommended the Chocolate cake for dessert and it was Amazinggggg! My partner and I come here very often and everything is always great. The food is spectacular, especially the mozzarella sticks and wings. Service is top notch. I didn't go to a Buffalo Wild Wings expecting a Michelin starred experience. Nevertheless, this dining experience was inadequate in every way My wife had a hamburger. It was 2 thin patties, greasy and overcooked. Do not order this unless your beverage is a Janitor in the Drum. I ordered wings, ostensibly a BOGO, but you can't get that unless you register with all of your personal information. They were semi fossilized and greasy as well. Beer was cold and tasty. Service was snotty but adequate. If you want to eat out at this level, consider a hospital cafeteria. It is less expensive and of generally better quality. read more

We have order from here twice and the order is wrong both times. We got delivery and they offered to refund us the missing items but everything was cold and why did I get delivery through their app to have a refund. Tom Terrific here with another honest review. I wanted to check out this particular BW3's because it's managed by Lauren Nobles who previously managed the now closed Buffalo Wild Wings in Clearwater. That one closed for various reasons and you can see my review of it here on YELP. I was banned from going into it for (I assume) giving it a damning review because Nobles hired servers with booger rings in their noses. I went in to this Largo BW3 to do a booger ring inspection. I find these rings attached to the septum and hanging down like mucus to the upper lip as unclean and nauseating. Nobles had two booger ring servers at the Clearwater location. I checked the few employees there and was happy to NOT see any booger rings. It was two in the afternoon and few customers were present. Lisa was my server and i ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad. It came with perfectly cooked chicken and a very good Caesar dressing for about $12. the lettuce was fresh and crispy, no complaints on the food. The men's restroom was clean as were the doors. In wing restaurants you'll often see dark spots on the entry side of the door because of sauce on the fingers. Why four stars instead of five? The salad, while very good was a touch small and with only 7 customers in the place it took 17 minutes to get to my table. The industry standard is 12 minutes. I tipped Lisa $3. I plan to come back to this restaurant when they are busy with a full staff to do another booger ring inspection. I want to see if Lauren Nobles has learned her lesson. read more

I've given this location a few tries and every time there have been problems with no one wanting to seat us. Tonight we arrived and waited over 5 minutes for staff to acknowledge us waiting to be seated... the patio had patrons dining and when we requested outside seating we were told it was closed at 10pm (this location doesn't close until 1am). Every single table in the dining was filthy with plates and trash all over the floor. I loved the first BWW I went to when I was stationed in GA. Now thanks to this one, I'll never go to one again. It's like nobody is running the place. They're never around up front to seat you, they can't seem to remember to give you silverware, it's like a bunch of kids with zero experience and no manager on duty. Went out for a girls night out to what used to be one of our favorite places to hang. Got handed the new menu...not a fan! The menu has lost many of our favorites, ie Fried mushrooms, Tailgater Sampler, etc to mention our top two. The menu is bulky and not user friendly, ie pages flip back at you and are big getting in the way. What happened to the Limited Special Wing Sauces? The food is no longer served in paper trays, but now it's an ugly metal tray. Where do I put my bones? The queso Sauce also has changed...not for the better. Disappointed in the new menu and design. Lisa is the best bartender in the area. The wings are always big and juicy and yummy! Sometimes weekend staff is not as good as during the week, but they definitely do their best. This place is literally one of the worst run businesses I have ever dealt with... and I was a corporate trainer for NERCO for years. How is the kitchen staff so bad? Worst part? They probably don't know... they probably think they are decent or even good. They are trash. But, the managers should know better and not let them get away with it. Over and over our Grubhub orders are wrong and when we call... 'you can come back and get it done right'. I ordered Grubhub because I don't want to drive there you dense tool. And to get it done roght, I have to call Grubhub and report the issue, but the delivery fee to re-order can't be waived so I am out because the management and kitchen staff are terrible. So then I order snd come pick up... but at 10pm, which is two hours before they close and there is nobody there, I pick up and get dead cold fries... Again, this is just terrible. Ridiculous. I went into this restaurant to watch NFL football. The bartender was pleasant and waited on me right away. My drink was supposed to be a double tall but tasted like a very weak single. I watched as a young lady came in and sat next to me. Mind you there were about 5 people at the bar. She waited at least 5 minutes and was not once acknowledged. She finally got up and left. I then ordered some wings. I ask the bartender if the wings were crispy. She said yes. They drop them for 25 minutes. That seemed a long time but I was like ok. At least they would be fresh. Literally 4 minutes later they arrived. They looked like they had been sitting around for awhile. Hardly any sauce. I took a bite and knew instantly they were not fresh at all. 35 minutes to get a drink and order taken. I absolutely loved BDubs for years and would eat it several times a week when I was on the road. Since living in FL, Pinellas Co. in particular I have yet to have a good experience when I visit. I love the Mango Habanero sauce so much that I have to venture back about once a year to get it. At over $11 for a medium order of traditional wings you would think there would be sauce on the entire order. Wings aren't terribly difficult to make and I'm sure they don't have to kill the chickens so I'm not sure why it takes so long to get an order here. My wife had boneless wings and they were more like chicken patties, one looked like a chicken fried steak it was so large(haha). Her order was really light on sauce to the point of none. Overall we were here just under an hour and a half and I requested a water when I was finally asked if I would like another beer 20min before we left just to have a drink prior to leaving. I considered going to another location to see if it is just our neighborhood store that is lacking but we were right by it when my wife suggested it. Our family of 4 placed our orders. Only 2 orders came and then 15 minutes later the other 2 came. My order (street tacos) said it came with chips & salsa, but waitress said no that it came with fries. I double checked the menu up front and I was correct. She brought the chips & salsa finally. I wouldn't have eaten the fries anyway because they came out cold and zero salt. My chips & salsa had zero salt as well and didn't finish them. The refills took a long time to come especially when our son needed a drink because of the spicy wings. Not complaining about the spicy wings, just complaining of the lack of drinks. When I got there she didnt even know about my order. Sent it thru when I got there. Chicken was dry and very chewy. Too much breading, barely edible. Went there for lunch today. The server told me the special. Get 6 wings, fries and drink for $8. I was the first one in the door and it took about 20 minutes or more. No fries. Just 6 wings and drink for $10 not $8. I was in a hurry so I didn't wait on the fries. The biggest reason I will not be back, the mask was covering the servers chin only. I have been to two other BWW's in the past and although I didn't think the food was spectacular, I did like it. I was quite happy when this location was opening so much closer to my house. The food was disappointing. Especially for the prices. Adults had a sampler platter and a burger, kids had mac n cheese and nuggets. Most disappointing were the boneless wings. Lots of breading, not much chicken. Burger nothing to write home about I thought but the wife did not like it and refused to finish it. Kids ate it as a snack later without issue. Mac and cheese looked like it was a Kraft instant cup, literally. I did find the mozzarella sticks to be the hands down winner of all the food at the table. Even if they were frozen, they were great. I was really hoping to add a nice, clean sports bar to stay and spend 3+ hours at watching football, but I can't spend that kind of money to get food of that quality. Especially when my bill showed $5 for a pint of Coors Light. Not the big glass, not a microbrew, a pint of Coors. It is a nice, clean sports bar though.
