Amazing night! Foid was delicious and my son had his first sirloin steak medium rare. We had a ribeye medium rare with Parmesan crust. The homemade blue cheese dressing was so good. We had a side of brussel sprouts so good had to order two!

    Nothing like bar seating!

Not a bad outing even tho Chrissy doesn't work on Sundays...as usual we sat at the bar. We both ordered ribeye as usual and we started for once with an app. We were conflicted between the Wild West shrimp or the parmesan crusted spinach dip...I asked Ms Jen for an informed answer and opinion. So we wound up going with the shrimp. Jen said she's not a seafood eater but still loves the Wild West shrimp. As I've had it previously, this appeared a good way to go. Once it finally showed up, that decision was validated by my own taste buds. I must point out, however, that my dear Queen Bee found said shrimp dish too salty. For one who puts salt on an ice cream sundae, I was shocked she pushed it away and handed the whole thing over to me. Peppers were quite piquant but also pickled in a rather salty brine. Shrimp themselves were fine. As we already know that both Queen Bee and I like our ribeye, I must mention that dear Ms Jen is not the most attentive of barkeeps. While she seems nice, it also appears that her ability to multitask is highly suspect. Fortunately Ryan showed up just a shade past 1600/4pm...of course Jen told one of the tables behind me that he was "a little late." It became obvious that Jen was a little overwhelmed by what became a rather full bar. Needless to say, I did NOT cash out with her when it was time for her to head off to the horizon. We both did Caesar salad, 12 oz. ribeye medium and baked tater; such variety, huh? Ryan didn't even blink when I asked for his attention. Yay! Here's where we make this adventure into a 4 star rather than three...he's a whiz. Anyway: salads sucked, taters are taters and two good ribeyes. They're lucky to get four stars tonight, but star quarters and halves are non entities to the zipperheads at Y E L P....

We stopped by for lunch. We were there for their lunch specials. We were pleasantly surprised on how good everything was. I've always liked the interior of this restaurant. For entreés, we both ordered the Half-Pound Steakhouse Cheeseburger Combo lunch special. You get a choice of one side. We ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Chowder and the French Onion Soup. Both soups were outstanding. The burgers were huge and they had their nice seasoning. They didn't have mayo or mustard but their own "Signature Burger Sauce" which was sort of 1000 Island which was fine by us. Since we opted for soups as a side dish, we ordered their Texas Tonions. They were OK with a fine horseradish dipping sauce. Would I order it again, probably not. Overall, we had a great lunch at about the same price point of Five Guys. The staff was friendly and speedy. You should definitely try out Longhorn for lunch.

9oz. Filet with parmesan topping...20 out of 10!

We had a party of 9 for a birthday celebration. They were very accommodating considering it was a Saturday night at 6pm. We had the spinach dip and onion pedals for appetizers...delicious! Then everyone had their dinner which each person was extremely happy with their meal. It was my first time having LongHorn. I will definitely be back real soon!

Went there with my neighbor (05/29/24)for appetizers late afternoon. Had the stuffed mushrooms, bang, bang chicken along with the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla Ice cream.. soo delicious . Service was exceptional ( well it was also very early), food came out great hot/ bubbly.. no complaints. Not my usual restaurant.. (chains) But it was very good .

This was our dinner tonight. Total perfection

It's about the best deal for a steak meal via corp chains. Decent happy hour for draft beer. Caesar salad and French onion soup was good.

It IS goooooood!!…read more This is what these ladies tell you and they're not lyin'. In fact, just eat what they tell you. "Everything's gooooood"... Juicy, smoky, and reaaaalllll goooooood. Came to visit our folks all the way from North Carolina and you know our BBQ is lit in North Carolina. Well... this was on time and reaaaaallll gooooood. We gonna be big girls if we keep it up. Today, I was driving past, starving but with a full schedule of errands to run. If it had been any other place, I would have ignored it and just gotten coffee somewhere to keep me moving. Brakes, u-turn, park. I waited a couple minutes while some people gathered their order. I was too hungry to choose and asked the kind lady in the window to help me. She was patient and helped me by simply being patient. A few more people came up and I got nervous I was taking too long. But people just smiled. I decided to try a lot of stuff, but not so much I'd waste anything...including money if it wasn't as good as I hoped. Brisket wasn't ready yet so I went with Pulled Pork sandwich... Tender tasty meat nicely sauced on a white bread hamburger bun, with extra sauce on the side. I added sauce, but not so much as I wanted to taste the meat more. The sauce was good enough to eat like you would Chocolate sauce with ice cream. You're not going to leave any behind. Perfect sandwich saved me. Collard greens...perfectly cooked and seasoned, not too salty, pieces of bbq meat flavoring it nicely. Perfect side. Mac N Cheese...correctly cooked noodles, perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper, and cheese throughout, though not the gooey cheesy saucy kind of cheese...not velveeta "cheese". Really nice side. Banana Pudding...this is homemade with chunks of banana and chunks of (shortbread?) cookies. This is one of my favorites. Can of soda. She apologized it wasn't that cold. Her caring made it taste better. As you can see by the stars, I really liked this place. I'll be getting back to my errands now, an hour later after eating in my car and pondering a nap. I have a couple more bites of the pudding, which I will not be saving for later. Highly recommended for anyone who likes barbecue. And actually for anyone who thinks they don't like bbq. They will soon.

Courtney was my waitress, and even when slammed, she never forgot me. She was professional and did an outstanding job both times I ate with her. As for the food, it was the best I had in Clearwater. I prefer Diner and Dive local eats compared to overpriced and pretentious restaurants. I had the seafood platter and the Grouper sandwich, and both were outstanding and grilled to perfection. I enjoyed my seafood scallops and grouper with green beans on the platter, but I LOVED my sandwich and fries! This was also my FIRST stop on the Cocktail Challenge (four stops for four signature drinks at four locations), and I enjoyed my drink on a humid day and, if I'm being honest, loved my Dockside Lemonade the best of all the drinks on the challenge. I had the Banana Hammock and, of course, the Rum Runner, which was outstanding, but this Dockside Lemonade was cool and refreshing and welcomed. Little sweet as a heads up, but really a nice summer drink! At the end of the day, this was a great way to start my challenge and Clearwater vacation. It can get busy with its proximity to the beach, so beware! ***For the record, if you are interested in the challenge. Go South Beach, Rockaway, Saltwater (for the views and true on-the-beach dining). End with a grouper sandwich (the best I had) at the Original and then cash in your passport at the next block at Off the Hook!

My, "char-grilled" grouper filet seemed like a frozen fillet that would be normally breaded and put in a sandwich. It tasted like it was cooked on the plate in a warming oven. The coconut rice was old, dried out, and smeared onto the plate. All of this was nearly cold when I got it, like it had been sitting out for a long time. Then the coleslaw side was about 2-3 tablespoons worth in a plastic dressing cup. It was such a mistake to order. I get it, it's on the beach and convenient, and the waitstaff was polite enough, but if you have a health condition where you need to avoid fried food, I'd go somewhere else. It definitely left me feeling taken advantage of.
