However, Ms Jeanette used to work at this location & she must have rubbed off her magic dust on the staff here bc they are all so professional & so wonderful, the service & food here is also tippy top OuiOui. This location is the oldest in the area, it's been here almost 30 years. It's a very small location & it's def worn in. Like a fine wine that's gotten better & better over time. It's got the thing, the JE NE SAIS QUOI OuiOui. The bar area is the coolest here, like an episode right out of "Cheers" during happy hour, which is the BEST, everyone knows everyone & Ms Chrissy is the best bartender EVER! Mother's Day they wouldn't fix the issue of an over cooked steak at a table of 5. When I called the so called manager told me I'd waited to long to report the problem. Tonight, weeks later, we received an order of mushrooms with 3 instead of 5 or 6. The manager I spoke with, while she was polite, said "my partner would've never said that" and he "never would've told you that". WELL HE DID or you have a server or male hostess who picked up the phone so WAKE UP and stop accusing my mother and I of not doing things on time when she and I called the day of! Forget this place. As always, the food was very good. Unfortunately, our server/bartender (Rebecca S) was too busy, flirting with the guy at the end of the bar to pay attention to any of the other customers, including my wife and me. Rebecca S was loud, obnoxious and consumed with her conversation with this man to pay attention to anything else. When I mentioned to her that I had been waiting for a while for a condiment, she replied "I'll try to do a better job at taking care of this end of the bar", but then proceeded to go right back to flirting with the guy at the other end of the bar. Several patrons were also visibly frustrated with her lack of care to them, as well. If I go back to this establishment and I see her working the bar, I will turn around and leave. read more

Not a bad outing even tho Chrissy doesn't work on Sundays...as usual we sat at the bar. We both ordered ribeye as usual and we started for once with an app. We were conflicted between the Wild West shrimp or the parmesan crusted spinach dip...I asked Ms Jen for an informed answer and opinion. So we wound up going with the shrimp. Jen said she's not a seafood eater but still loves the Wild West shrimp. As I've had it previously, this appeared a good way to go. Once it finally showed up, that decision was validated by my own taste buds. I must point out, however, that my dear Queen Bee found said shrimp dish too salty. For one who puts salt on an ice cream sundae, I was shocked she pushed it away and handed the whole thing over to me. Peppers were quite piquant but also pickled in a rather salty brine. Shrimp themselves were fine. As we already know that both Queen Bee and I like our ribeye, I must mention that dear Ms Jen is not the most attentive of barkeeps. While she seems nice, it also appears that her ability to multitask is highly suspect. Fortunately Ryan showed up just a shade past 1600/4pm...of course Jen told one of the tables behind me that he was "a little late." It became obvious that Jen was a little overwhelmed by what became a rather full bar. Needless to say, I did NOT cash out with her when it was time for her to head off to the horizon. We both did Caesar salad, 12 oz. ribeye medium and baked tater; such variety, huh? Ryan didn't even blink when I asked for his attention. Yay! We stopped by for lunch. We were there for their lunch specials. We were pleasantly surprised on how good everything was. I've always liked the interior of this restaurant. For entreés, we both ordered the Half-Pound Steakhouse Cheeseburger Combo lunch special. You get a choice of one side. We ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Chowder and the French Onion Soup. Both soups were outstanding. The burgers were huge and they had their nice seasoning. They didn't have mayo or mustard but their own "Signature Burger Sauce" which was sort of 1000 Island which was fine by us. Since we opted for soups as a side dish, we ordered their Texas Tonions. They were OK with a fine horseradish dipping sauce. Would I order it again, probably not. Overall, we had a great lunch at about the same price point of Five Guys. The staff was friendly and speedy. Won't go back! Even with waitlisting, had to wait to be seated. After seated, no server came to our table and finally had to ask. A server finally came to take our drink order. We ordered our food, brought to our table and my husband's sirloin was tough, I had french fries with my chicken dish and they were cold, and waited for server to ome back to the tablle so I could tell her and brought back fresh, hot fries. We had a party of 9 for a birthday celebration. They were very accommodating considering it was a Saturday night at 6pm. We had the spinach dip and onion pedals for appetizers...delicious! Great to eat a steak. I love that the food came hot and our steaks were cooked to perfection. The bread there is amazing. We love the fact that they offer a 6 oz or 9 oz for your wine glass. the food here is great but the service was absolutely horrible. the server we had looked mad she didn't seem to care about our experience and left immediately before we could ask for things that were missing. when my sister was choking she was there and just turned around and left immediately without even asking if she was okay. we also saw that she treated other customers with more respect and we feel like it's because my father was in his work clothes and other factors of our appearance, my parents tend to tip a decent amount but this time we felt mistreated so therefore my dad didn't leave any tip. read more

She was so friendly, humorous and attentive we were blown away! She personified excellence, skill and dedication to her profession like no other! I'm in a man who has had many a steak from the fanciest of the fancy to the gulliest of the guilliest. So where does this joint rank you ask, a few rungs up from the gulliest. We actually came here to celebrate my moms birthday as this was her choice to come here. A big reason we came here was because it was close to where my Grandmother lives. We started off with an onion app that had some Chipotle type spread that was just ok. The onions were deep fried and when I say they were well done, they sure were. They also provided some bread (not sure on the type) but I was sure it was hard. Then the best part was the salad. I had a basic salad with a balsamic. I truly appreciated it was served on a chilled plate. Then the medium rare Rib Eye came out. To the eye, it looks great but when you cut it and take a bite, you might as well opened the salt shaker and pour salt on it. Waaaaaay to salty and it was a tad like medium but no time to argue as I wanted to jet out of there. Don't even get me started on their old fashioned. What was I thinking. No reservations and a limited parking lot when crowded. Next time I'm going to persuade to drive down to Sam Seltzer's in St. Pete. read more

I generally like Longhorn, but I will NEVER revisit this location, because they allow people to bring dogs to dine with them, and I didn't expect to spend $50/ person to dine with some pathetic excuse for a human who can't go anywhere without their dog. If you need that much emotional support, maybe Doordash, and don't subject everyone else to accept your inability to leave the house without your pet. This is what patio restaurants are for. Longhorn used to be our favorite but recently we have been ordering more from outback due to them having a machine that makes sure steaks are cooked properly. Well tonight we decided to try longhorn again. We placed an order for 2 filet mignon dinners with loaded baked potato & caesar salad. We picked it up & everything was great. That was until I cut into my steak. It was medium rare to rare despite ordering it medium well. Now, we do prefer our steaks medium but ordered medium well in hopes of getting them cooked medium. I guess that wasn't in the cards for longhorns cook... maybe they need a machine like Outback has? I generally prefer longhorn but don't like paying $30 for a filet if they forget to cook it. The potatoes are actually in the fridge, the salads were great. The bread was hot & fresh as well. Unfortunately the steak is why we ordered & they could not even get it close to the temperature we ordered it at. Well this location has come a long way since my previous review posted above. It's one of my very favorite places to eat these days. I used to get the bone in Ribeye but that sucker is just too big for me. I get the 6oz filet parmesean crusted. That parm crust changes the game and is the best two buck you can spend in a restaurant. I always order it rare and it's always perfectly cooked. Their vegetables are also propely cooked and that vegetable butter is bangin. The service is incredible every time, which matters to me. My Husband was putting his leftovers in a to-go box and caught it on the little lip at the bar, and it dumped to the floor. We saw the restaurant as we were driving by. We stopped in for a quick lunch and decided to sit at the bar -- for faster service. Most seats at the bar are freezing cold as there are multiple a/c vents above them. We moved chairs until we found that two open seats on the end were the only ones without above vents blowing frigid air. We both ordered their steak salad. I got mine without the pepper seasoning and cooked medium well. He had his as on the menu but medium-rare. They switched the steaks on the plates -- because my side was a baked potato and his was mashed potatoes. After we switched salad bowls so that I'd get the steak without the pepper seasoning, I sent the steak back to be cooked more. This time the steak came out cooked and hot. I didn't care for the salad itself, but what there was of the steak was tender. My husband said the brown gravy on his mashed potatoes was the best part of his meal. Service was okay, but nothing special. As the steak salad was part of their lunch specials, the prices were quite reasonable. Visiting the area and came in with a party of 6, Brian was our server and he was awesome! He knows all about steaks, all about the menu and helped make some great choices. Great service from him, always making sure we were good, . The service was great overall, food came in good timing, even our wait wasn't bad. I was told 40-50 mins but it was probably 20 mins. And the system is great, they text you and you're able to see how many parties ahead of you that gets updated. I have a lengthy background in the food industry and tend to have high expectations of service and I really enjoyed it there. The food was great, the steak eaters at my table all loved their steaks, cooked perfectly at the temps requested. The French onion soup was a nice beginning, the gooey cheese melted over, perfect cup size to keep some room for dinner. I had salmon, flakey, flavorful with a nice glaze. Came here with a group of six people, a rather large group for our Bi-Weekly geekly dinner. They were able to accommodate us easily! We were seated at a long table at the back of the dining room, and our waitress was with us in just a minute. Our group was accommodated fairly easy, we're 2 couples and 2 singles, so the breaking up of the check can be sometimes annoying, but the waitress didn't complain. We ordered our appetizers and our meals and then chatted until the food came out. My husbeast and I ordered the Wild West shrimp, which is always delightful and tasty, it came out done to perfection and with an extra side of ranch that we didn't ask for but certainly needed. We also ordered a Delmonico and the New York Strip, both came out cooked to our liking with our preferred side of Baked Potato and veg. The meal was delicious and it's a great place to hang out and chat with our friends. For the two of us, with our tea, appetizers and the expensive steaks I think with tip (Our party of six didn't get gratuity included, which surprized me) came out to $85. So not terrible. It's about the best deal for a steak meal via corp chains. Decent happy hour for draft beer. Caesar salad and French onion soup was good.

My husband and I ate ate this restaurant last night. It was a HUGE disappointment for $70. . I ordered ribeye medium rare because the menu said it was the most popular and so flavorful with all of the marbling. and my husband ordered the New York Strip. They brought us bread which was not good, crumbly and very dry. We had salads to begin, mine was Cesear that was watery and tasteless. My steak came and my first thought was this is awfully thin 1" for a ribeye which is normally thicker. After a few bites my mouth and throat were burning so badly I asked my husband to try it and he experienced the same burning. We asked the waiter what they put on my steak and he said "Oh we heavily season it". That should be something that's disclosed to customers before ordering and offered as a choice to customers. Not everyone likes a steak smothered in hot peppery, salty seasoning. We asked that they bring me a steak with no seasoning. When the new steak came I realized why they heavily season it, without seasoning the steak had no flavor at all and was like eating tasteless meat. It was a low end cut of ribeye that they enhanced with a ton of pepper, paprika, and salt. I took about 3 bites of the bland new steak and had no appetite anymore with the continued burning in my mouth and throat from the first steak and then the tasteless replacement steak. My husbands steak was ok until about half way through at which point it was grey and tough, but no heavy seasoning. We packed up our plates in to go boxes paid $70 and left. I regret that when they took back the first steak I should have just told them "no thank you" and had them take it off the check because my appetite was ruined. A good cut of steak is flavorful on its own and doesn't need seasoning, which should always be optional. I've thought about going back into the restaurant today and asking for my money back. It was that disappointing . I would never not recommend this restaurant. read more
