Beef O'Brady's is a chain. I have been there before at other locations. This one was different. Great feel. Everyone welcoming and working hard. We had the pizza, wings, and pot stickers. Everything was excellent and beyond my expectations. If you live in the area it is well worth your time. Definitely my pick for sports from now on. Although we ordered from a delivery service on two occasions, the fries that came with the order were not cooked . It's like they put the basket into the deep fryer for seconds , not minutes When you order you are asked if you want crispy or extra crispy. Why? If you're not going to cook them. SOLID 5 STARS! This five star review is probably as much a surprise to me as well as probably everybody else. I visited the Beef O'Brady in Brooksville Florida when I had several hours to kill. I had to drive about 20 miles to find civilization, dodging cows, sinkholes, and farm equipment all intent on damaging my car (To be fair, I don't think the cow had any malicious intent), and they got four stars simply by providing me with a decent meal in the middle of nowhere! This Beef O'Brady's in St. Petersburg has a higher bar to cross and they made it! My wing man, Gary, and I arrived about 1:30pm for lunch (Why do I call Gary my wing man? That's because Gary is a USAF pilot, retired). The place was only about 1/4 full, but for a Wednesday afternoon on a workday that's not bad. It did enable me to grab a handicap parking spot right near the front door. The whole restaurant by the way is handicap friendly. We were led to a booth that had a little spot nearby to park Gary's walker. Started off with Mozzarella Sticks ($9.99). They mere perfect. Crunchy on the outside, and hot and melty on the inside. As an added touch, shredded mozzarella cheese was sprinkled on the sticks while they were still hot. What could be better than mozzarella sticks with extra mozzarella? (BTW Took the picture after 2 sticks were removed because we couldn't wait!). I ordered the OMG burger ($19.99). It came with their signature french fries or their spicy curly fries. I chose the regular fries. I also did not want any tomato or mayonnaise, but asked for pickles and onions. Our excellent waitress, Alicia, told me that if I got the grilled onions it would be an additional charge of $1.99. But raw onions are no extra charge. I went with raw onions. This burger has to be the largest burger I have ever tried to eat. Two huge beef patties, four pieces of cheese, four strips of bacon, lettuce, pickles, and onion. There was no way It could stack up! It was kind of like leaning over on its side with a 6 inch toothpick spiked through it to stop it from falling apart. Pulling out that toothpick made me think of arming a grenade; I half expected the burger to explode. This burger really does make you say OMG (And I'm not even religious!). Gary ordered a Shrimp Caesar Salad and reports that it was just what he wanted: Something crunchy with shrimp. I don't watch TV. I turned off my television in 2019 to preserve my sanity (As a side effect my blood pressure dropped 40 points), But I couldn't help noticing the 27 Large Screen TV's on all the walls. At first, I was panicking on information overload, until I noticed that there were really only about 10 channels, some of them being repeated, but never on a TV close to another one so that it LOOKS like it's 27 different channels. Fortunately for me, I was wearing a hat so I could lower the brim as a partial block, and they were all sports channels which has no appeal to me, So I survived with only superficial mental scarring. I did not hold this against the restaurant since it IS advertised as a Sport's Bar. I'm also not a beer drinker, But I can notice beer without harm. 10 different beers on tap with appropriately labeled taps (Again: Sport's Bar), but it is my understanding that 10 on tap beers is a LOT! 5 star meal with 5 star service. read more

Good was great and our service was good. I'm so glad they opened a location in St Pete.

I know they just opened this location, so I'm considering that in my review. The restaurant is clean and they have lots of TVs! The bartenders are nice, it just took quite a bit of time for someone to get my drink order. But the marg I got was good and on happy hour. They have happy hour everyday from 3:30-6:30. I got a pizza and Caesar salad. Pizza was good, very saucy which some people may not like, but there wasn't much pepperoni. Using iceberg for a Caesar salad was interesting. It did advertise romaine.. Love that they have a freestyle soda machine which is uncommon in restaurants. read more

First time at this location. Haven't been to a Beef O Brady's in a long time. Service was fine. Felt a little rushed. I had a buffalo chicken salad. It was awful. The chicken had the same texture as the croutons. My wife had the steak nachos. The steak was the texture as beef jerky. My kids had a grilled cheese and chicken strips which were ok. We don't like to send food back so we dealt with it. I know it's new so hopefully the food improves. read more

Very disappointing. I've been to other BOB that were very well managed and this is not one of them. We couldn't get them to find our wnba game which was on ABC, so an hour in we decided to get our food to go only to then find out our order never got put in. At one point all the employees were in the kitchen for almost 5 minutes. Nobody was in the main restaurant or bar. I really hope this new BOB gets a new GM and fast. read more

We have eaten here twice and have had several food items. It literally tastes worse than a cafeteria. The burger tastes like it was previously frozen with a stale bun. The fries were chewy and stale. The Philly cheesesteak tasted low quality with hard bread. It just tastes like everything was frozen and they microwaved it. It's just gross. Disappointing since locals were looking forward to a new place to go. I don't even want to go back. The service is also very slow for being empty. Not sure how they will ever handle anything more than slow. I wish it was still an Applebees. This food is disgusting. I hear the management fishing for good server reviews and they seem desperate. Our server was great, so that is not the reason that this review is only 2 stars. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap, and received the wrong wrap (a club). The server immediately tried to solve the issue, and due to no fault of her own... I did not receive my food for another 15 minutes. I got my first, wrong wrap in less time than the one I actually ordered. Once I finally received my correct meal, it was just alright... nothing special. The manager brought out my food , but it was not discounted or comped off of our bill. As someone who works in the food industry, this was very disheartening as if this were my table, more would have been done to accommodate especially with how long it took to get something so simple. I have been twice and was not impressed. This restaurant seems really bare bones, the inside reminds me of sitting at the county tax collector office. Numerous tvs, all the walls are blank, and no decor whatsoever. The foods quality was extremely poor. I've tried the Philly, a burger, and the nachos. The meat seems to be lowest quality previously frozen meat possible. The server on the first visit was personable despite food times being late. The second visit our server never checked back, the fries were stale and cold upon delivery. We tried to wave her down and she looked at us and kept walking. It seems like the staff avoids the tables and chats with each other up front ignoring customers. I'm waiting on the AI generated response I see from the owner for this post. Eaten there 3 times. Twice at lunch and once dinner. The servers and bartenders were great. Love the cleanliness of the place. Kitchen back up 30 mins for food to come out. Had a burger and wing special . Order burger medium rare. It came out well done. Burger roll cold. Wings were like warm at best. Managers need to get their act together. 3 were having a meeting at 7:30pm while your kitchen is back up and putting out sub par food. I was told one was from corporate. He was more interested in his phone and watching the Olympics than what was going on in the restaurant. After waiting around 30mins for food it shouldn't be wrong or on the cold side. Maybe managers should help where help was needed to serve people. Didn't send food back because who knows when I would get my food to eat. I've been to many beef's before over the past 20+yrs. Food wasn't the greatest but we had this server who went above and beyond with his service. A-a-ron was the only person I saw on the floor that was busting his ass dealing with customers, tables, foodrunning etc. He even found my wallet and returned it to me. Very Poor. Even though it was only about 1/3 full, it is so noisy you can't hear anyone. Even the server had a hard time taking the order because it it so loud. No steak sauce. Was charge double the price for happy hour drinks. Looked it up when I got home. Should have been $5 and was charge $10. Asked for the lowest price well drink. We will pass on going back. read more
