Absolutely unfortunate experience today at Buffalo Wild Wings. With most chains you can expect average service and decent food, fairly quick, easy and simple. Today? Not so much. Came in on a Sunday around 2pm. After the lunch rush and before dinner service. It took 3 hours to get our food and check. Over an hour and a half for the food to arrive for a party of 10. Asked for managers who were "profoundly" apologetic, yet only applied the military discount our party earned through years of service to our country. Poor server was on his second week and had no support or training from his two managers who were on staff but hiding in the back. Prior to the opening of the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Linden, the closest location was the one in Watchung. Our last visit to the Watchung Buffalo Wild Wings was horrible. Bad food, bad service, bad atmosphere, so we really went into this lunch with low expectations, and we technically only stopped in because we had been out all day and were starving. The service at the Linden Buffalo Wild Wings was 100% better, the food came out just the way we ordered it, and our waiter even threw in an extra side of fries. I'm not the biggest fan of their theme and I think the idea of 10 different TVs playing at once without subtitles is a bit pointless- but for what it was, I can say it was decent in a pinch. My only real gripe is the price range. Yes, I understand that on their promo nights it's probably pretty cheap at 50 cents a wing, but $60 for 2 beers, a burger and a small order of wings? It's a great place, no matter what some say. I have been there more than 20 times (I know !! But I have been working in the area and sleeping nearby in the past few months so it was an easy choice for dinner) What I like: - good choice of beer (tuesday and wednesday I think are $2 beers) - the staff is great, I know most waiters/waitresses and they are always friendly and professional. I've been a steady customer for years and always thought the food was just ok ... wings are decent and so are the nachos.. everything else is not good.. burgers are microwaved and so are a lot of other things on the menu... what got me today is I paid 47.00 and change for a chicken sandwich, six wings , one pretzel and two Pepsi's ... the prices really went up .. I came here with friends New Years Day 2023 after we ate from the buffet next to them. We went there to basically get some dessert and some beer, the server there was amazing. I'm terrible with names but she recommended cheese curds with Carmel sauce which was good but I'll get into the food in a bit. First, it was sort of quiet in the restraint, I mean you get the loudness from the tv and some talking but nothing to loud. The food though was not that great which is why the 3 stars. We decided to order the chicken hot dog dish which was okay, the chicken could have been cooked a little bit less it was stringy and dry and bland as all sin even with the sauce. The cheese curds weren't that great either, the cheese wasn't even melted it's like they bought cheap string cheese and made "food". Cheese curds were also very rubbery like chewing on a fried rubber. The drink I got was the black berry drink and that was very good. Also got a sweet and sour drink and I wasn't a fan. I ordered the Asian Zing cauliflower wings and fries. The cauliflower was delicious! I asked them to put the sauce for the cauliflower on the side since I was taking it to go and they did which ensured it wouldn't be soggy. The fries on the other hand were COLD and dry like they had been sitting there all day. I placed my order while in the TJMAXX next door and gave it 10 minutes before I walked in to get my order. There was no reason for me to have cold fries. They need better heat lamps or something to ensure people don't get cold food. read more

Terrible service. Went there yesterday . My friend ordered platinum margarita it was too sweet almost like juice. He asked the bartender about it and she said she can give him extra shot but has to change him. She said it's the recipe and nothing that she can do. She was just not customer friendly and not accommodating at all. Then for the rest of our stay she never came up to us to ask how was the food or anything like that. I absolutely love coming here with my small group of friends! Usually very busy and have to wait a few minutes for a table but it's generally worth it! The boneless Asian zing wings are my absolute favorite! It's hard to even finish a small size so no need to worry that you won't get full. The customer is also great! Every time I've gone there I've felt almost obligated to leave at least a $5 tip because of how nice and helpful the waiters are. They're friendly and funny creating a great environment to just hang out eat and watch one of the million tv's in that place! Definitely recommended to all my friends! read more

I always get BWW love chicken wings, i dont know what is going on with this since they have become popular their service and care for costumers have slow down. Came here Fiance and I we got seated, waitress never ever showed up 5mins, 10mins, 15mins passes us by. We got up and left i gave a complain to the manager, in this location they have young and uneducated people working here they are not professional. 1st Experience: we were waiting for 10 minutes seating for over 30 minutes. We got a waitress who had an attitude because she felt over worked. I get it. Went to this location last night and had an great time. We sat at the bar and our Bartender was Brenda. We found Brenda to be warm, attentive and efficient. Brenda also made great menu recommendations which turned out well. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, which was a plus. Lastly, our food and drinks came out timely and were very good. Decided to go today with a few coworkers for lunch at this location. Ordered items from the lunch menu in where you have the option to order an add on which in our case were wings. While ordering our food we all chose to go for the add on wings and found it strange that the waiter asked us "how many wings?" The menu clearly states at least 4 for boneless so we each pointed at the add-on section and said 4 wings with choice of sauce. The food arrives within the guaranteed 15 minutes, awesome. We noticed that the orders of wings were large and we asked the waiter if this was correct and didn't seem right. We reiterated that we chose the add on wings and not a full order to which he replied, "that is the option he rung up and we must've received extra wings." Not one to turn down free wings we proceeded to munch thinking that was pretty awesome. Till the bill arrived. When reviewing the check we found that in addition to the 3 entrees ordered there were 3 upgraded wing entrees equaling $10 a piece. We thought for add on orders that came with "extra wings" this didn't seem right. We presented this to the waiter to which he went to call the manager. The manager introduced herself and then proceeded to lecture us on how we should've noticed something wrong and brought it to their attention. I thought we did that? (Refer to paragraph 2). I didn't want to get into detail with her and throw her employee that was next to her under the bus (possibly a new hire). She said she noticed the large orders and thought it strange but didn't think to ask her employee about it. Apparently it's the patrons responsibility to hunt down management and scrutinize orders for legitimacy. Though we explained the situation she still thought it was incumbent upon us to investigate further (again refer to paragraph 2). She adjusted the price and accepted fault on behalf of the restaurant with a notable sarcasm. And mentioned our having to sort things out at the time the food arrived (as we thought we had done) before again "accepting" fault. All in all not sure I'll be returning for the lunch time as apparently this menu is a difficult concept for the staff and an added burden on the consumer to fully vet the servers' comprehension of said menu. I must've been in a pretty good mood a the time because I didn't feel the urge to let the manager have it. I live 5 minutes from this location and always drive 15 minutes the next location. however, today we wanted to give it another try so we placed our order online well LONG story short, order was missing items , food temperature was cold, and packaging was not pleasing and I did not feel comfortable eating. I was reading the reviews and I am shocked that this place has such a bad rep. Someone actually complained that it was too loud? This is a sports bar. That's like going to a concert and complaining that the music is just a tad bit too loud. Enjoy this place for what its supposed to be! Anyways, I love this place. I have been here so many times, I lost count. The bar has a fantastic selection of beer and the hard stuff. You'll get the best experience sitting in the bar area. The staff are super friendly and I always make friends here. I have had almost everything on the menu and all of it is more than edible. Try their burgers, and go medium rare if you aren't afraid of some blood. My favorite is the screaming nacho burger. Its spicy and oh so good. The wings are the focus of this place. And they are actually really good, it all depends on what you like and what type of sauce you prefer. So expect not to like them all. Keep in mind that the traditional boned wings are harder to eat, but you are rewarded with a more richer taste of chicken for your hard efforts! The curry sauce is my favorite! What a blast of flavors! They even have dry wings with seasoning. One particular favorite of mine is the salt and vinegar wings. All of these wings are washed down extremely well with a nice cold beer. Tuesdays and Thursdays have great deals for 50 cent wings and cheap drinks! And if you have a party, they can set you upstairs where you'll have a nice view of the whole bar and those huge tvs! Not a bad place to plan a bday or some special occasion. Last night I visited this location simply for a few drinks, around 10:45, the manager of the establishment refused to seat/serve us claiming they aren't taking anyone else due to them closing at 12... never have I witnessed an establishment refusing customers an hour prior to closing.
