My review a few years ago deserves an update. Due to lack of viable options in MHC that we weren't tired of, we decided to give B dubs a shot again. I must say we were quite surprised. Gone is the puke and mold smelling carpet replaced by concrete which cant absorb the traffic of people spilling stuff on it. The staff was pleasant and attentive. Wow! BWW was always a place to go for really good food til and of course, good wings. What we got out of this location on vw was pure disappointment. Not sure if these were chicken wings or Cornish hens. They were the tiniest wings I've ever seen! And after we realized they were wings, we couldn't decipher if they were chicken or Styrofoam! THE MOST dry, overcooked wings I've ever had! Nothing, seriously, nothing was satisfactory! What has happened to this brand of consistency? Maybe it's this location. I certainly hope for BWW that this is the isolated case and maybe will change rather than the overall brand that has failed. After spending $90+ on a meal that consisted of three orders of 10 piece wings, onion rings and wings, nothing, really, nothing was satisfactory! We contacted the manager and it was met with blatant disconcern and no followup reparation to remedy the situation. I can only hope that maybe, perhaps, they read this and realize that their 2 star reviews for this location is something that is concerning enough to their brand to address why this is and improve upon it. Over the course of the last 3 weeks or so Sundays have gone down hill. Not the servers or bar tenders. But managments fault. From taking the papers down on the TVs that allowed patrons to see what games were going to be on what that. To extending wait times to get a table or seat at open bar or table due to kitchen back ups. Hire more staff.....this isnt a new thing. It's lunch time on a Sunday. Come in for some beer, wings, pub fare, and to watch the game with fellow fans. BWW is known for its wings. I'm one of those that like clean hands after a meal. I like wings, but I'm not a fan of sticky fingers. I normally get their boneless wings. They are akin to mini tenders. They aren't great. The onion rings weren't crispy; they were wet. I did like their black pepper-seasoned fries, their fried pickles, and the variety of sauces. Next time, I will get regular wings. This location had one local beer. This bdubs is always very slow service. But this specific time they were also out of hamburgers, fries, potato wedges, mozzarella sticks, and a lot more. I tried to order 3 different things and had to order something completely different. The waitress was very passive aggressive when we told her we wanted an appetizer after we were told they were out of a lot of items. Went to the Morehead restaurant yesterday February 14 to have lunch with my husband. We got there at 11:00 got seated and ordered our food. While we sat there watching 7 more tables come in and order. We watched all the tables get their food as we still had a empty table. We kept asking our server for our food we were told a lot of call in orders came in and they were working on them . That did not make sense to us with everyone getting their food but not us. So after little over a hour we got up to pay for our drinks to leave. It didn't seem to faze them that we were very upset, that will be a mistake I won't make again. I had an awesome experience, I was gifted a gift card by a coworker and we order a good bit of food. We tipped on the rest of the gift card and gave more cash tip when we got there. Deanna was the one taking care of our pick up order, the receipt on the bag says. For a restaurant that is normally not very busy the food was great, fresh and exactly as we ordered. Update: Our food arrived and was not up to par. I had to send my fries back due to an excess amount of pepper that had been added. When I asked as to why I had pepper on my fries I was told that that was the seasoning they add to it. However no one else had pepper. I will start by saying the lady we had was very nice! Upon walking in, the place had a sour smell to it but I couldn't put my finger on as to what it was. The floor was sticky as well and I have to question if the rest of the place was also very dirty. I only stayed because of my friends. In most experiences here it takes forever to have things done with one visit taking 3 hours from coming in to receiving the check and having to wait 45 minutes and multiple times asking to get the check. I had lunch with a friend yesterday, Monday between 1:30pm-2:00pm at Buffalo Wild Wings in Morehead City N.C. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant (even know it's during Covid). We walked in and there were only 2 people sitting at one table and the waitress only gave us one menu. I asked can we have another menu she stated we only give one when it's busy. Well the service got worse from there, I had to ask for plates for our appetizer and were not given any utensils. My friend had a burger, from across the table I could see several streams of grease dripping fast. The grease from that burger caused a puddle in the beat up pan we were served our food on. Pricey wings, slow service, but great spot for late night gatherings. Good non alcohol mix drinks, such as citrus limeade is fabulous! Asian Zing sauce on the traditional wing is my favorite, wouldn't go with any other sauces. The wings does take a longer time to prepare, usually around 20 mins, and the servers normally don't check on you very often. Upon being seated we requested to sit by the Cowboys game, hostess sat us on the complete opposite side of the room saying we'd have to wait on a table and no promises we'd be seated. This has to be the worst BW3 ever. We arrived at 1250 onSunday to watch a game with a bite and a brew. There were 5 couples waiting when we walked in. The hostess said it'd be a 10 minute wait . After five minutes I went to the bathroom and noticed 4 tables and a booth that were empty and clean. I asked the hostess why she couldn't seat the people waiting at those tables. She replied that the kitchen was backed up. I said fine just seat us and we'll order a drink while waiting. No that wasn't possible she replied. Why not I inquired, just following orders she replied. We waited another five minutes with none of the waiting parties being seated so we left and found a place has a better concept of business sense and customer satisfaction. But my friend and I went there Sunday 9/3 at 830pm we had called and asked for the wait time was told there was none at 8pm we drove there and in the corse of 30 mins the wait time in dinning room was 45 mins but the dining room was not full and it was cause of big parties, we'll we sat at the bar as they told us there was no wait time . We sat down and got our drinks 10 mins after being there but with that being said we waited 25 mins for our order to be taken then waited another 20 for food, but our bartender did not take our order just gave our drinks , nor did she bring the food out someone else did , we then waited 30 mins for our check until we went and found someone to get it for us at 10pm , this also then took 15 mins to ring out our order, there was only 4 ppl at the bar and no one in the dinning when we came and this was just ridiculous I have never ever waited so long for food and a check , not have we ever had to go get someone to give us our check when there was 2 people working in the bar and it wasn't even full and the girl that took our order was texting while we were waiting .
