Chicken Tenders

Buffalo Wild Wings, I ordered chicken tenders, not chicken tender... scraps. What is this?? A tender for toddlers? I've seen bigger breadcrumbs.. This thing is so small, I thought they accidentally served me fried air.

Parmesan garlic and honey BBQ
Wendy C.

We came in Saturday morning, 20 minutes after they opened and waited for a few minutes to be greeted at the front then seated. Our server was very pleasant and let us know that she just got in and needs a couple of minutes to settle in then she'll be right with us. Which is fine because we took this time to look at the menu anyways. We got the parmesan garlic wings and honey bbq wings. This was our first time trying BWW and had higher expectations in their wings, given their name. The wings were a bit disappointing but not terrible. They weren't very hot (temp) and can taste they just dipped the plain wings in the sauces so wasn't very flavorful. Got the all American cheeseburger and comes with fries. The fries tasted almost like McDonald fries. The burger was very salty but was juicy even though it was cooked well done. There were a lot of different TV screen sizes inside so can watch multiple games at the same time and can almost see all the screens from any seats.

Everything Pretzel Knots Hard as a rock and inedible
David N.

So my wife for her birthday for some silly reason wanted me to come home from running errands with Buffalo Wild Wings . I would have gone anywhere, waited as long as it took and paid up to three times more than what the bill at BWW was. I could have bought my wife food from the Kowloon ,Kelly's roast beef or the 110 grill. Places I dined at and never had a 1 Star rating. The place was empty... on a Friday late afternoon. That should be a red flag. But my wife gets what she wants including everything pretzel knots , Those were hard and inedible. Fried pickles (Ice cold) Cheese curds (ice cold and solid) Wings with Parmesan garlic sauce....(ice cold) I got cauliflower with salt and vinegar dry rub . They were ice cold too but if someone else could pick up the recipe. Salt and vinegar dry rub on fried cauliflower is delicious. So perhaps some other restaurant can serve them fresh and hot. It seems like no one wants to work in there. One of The waitresses was walking around seemingly bummed and Burnt out with her job . The place was clean but that's because nobody was there. Not even for pickup. Sub par worse than fast food quality food . With a staff that gives just as much a care as your typical burger joint. I hope my wife doesn't pick this place again..., I sure won't !

Been here for over 20 minutes and still food or drinks.

This location has to have some of the worst service on the planet. They are understaffed and if I had to give them a food quality report it would be a D+ rating. I waited over 40 mins for traditional wings on their Bogo boneless night (Thursday). My wings and wedges came out cold with barely any sauce on them.

Hard, tasteless boneless chicken

I ordered a box of 10 boneless wings. When I opened the box I received not 10 but 7 of the worst hard chicken I have ever had. I have never ordered here before but enjoy Chick fil A & other fast food chicken strips. The chicken was more hard batter than chicken. Never again!

Can't believe they can look themselves in the mirror calling this a "sauced" wing. It looks like it bumped into a sauced wing for a second

All of my chicken strips were rubbery and a funky texture. I drove across town for that and ended up just eating the fries.

For our main dish, we always get the chicken Marsala. This is one of the better pasta dishes we have had. Portions are generous and the price is great. We also always get the steak and cheese calzone. The portion is huge, and the price is right. The service here is always excellent. I would recommend stopping by here, you won't be left disappointed!

A few minutes go by as we patiently wait at the front and the owner of the place comes over to me and is extremely confrontational about my dog being in his restaurant. I explained he is a service dog and I just want to order to go he then asks for my dogs paperwork which is illegal in Massachusetts by the way. But I show him anyway, because I just want to order food and take it to leave. He then says one of his staff will help me about 2 minutes later a nice older woman comes by and takes my order. I take my dog on a short walk and come back for the food. When I came back I was told he was asking people about a "guy with a dog" from other guests outside... I enter the restaurant and waited patiently I got my food paid for it and left. I live about a 4 minute walk from the restaurant. I get home and try the food and it's mediocre at best. ribs with barely any sauce and steak tips I should of just given my dog. I work in fine dining so I know exactly what it means to make a guest feel welcomed and taken care of but this was the exact opposite! safe to say I won't be dining here in the future. This was a horrible experience. If you own a restaurant you should know exactly how to treat this situation he's quite lucky I don't have the time or energy to make this much worse.

Vast. Like, "do-I-need-a-compass-to-navigate-this" vast, with plenty of options. It's always amusing to me how different parts of the U.S. have their own regional food quirks (like here in MA, where steak tips, roast beef sandwiches, and open-faced turkey sammies reign supreme). I was stuck between a couple of local specialties, but our delightful waitress, Haley, steered me in the direction of the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich, mentioning they roast a turkey every day (cue angels singing). I swapped out the fries for onion rings, because, duh! This sandwich? It could have fed a small village. It was a beast. A delicious beast, but an unwieldy one. I ended up abandoning the bread for the good stuff and tackled it with a knife and fork. All in all? Absolutely scrumptious. Bonus points for the bathrooms, which were clean as a whistle, and fear not! If you're afraid of missing the a Celtics 3 pointer or a Red Sox baseball toppling over the "green monstah" while nature calls, there's a giant screen perfectly viewable from the toilet. Yes, you can literally watch the game while you pee. Talk about a win-win situation!

I found myself in familiar territory and surroundings when I returned stay the Lakeview Inn hotel…read morefor a night, away from metro Boston in early May 2025. I arrived here via uber and decided to have dinner at the hotel's main restaurant, the Lakeside Tavern. This Yelp review is for the restaurant only and not the hotel. I arrived here around 9:30pm. I opted to get dinner here first before checking into the hotel for the night. The service that night I was here was crazy slow. They had loud live band music and the vibe here was generally an older crowd on a Thursday evening in May 2025. I found a seat next to the bar near the kitchen and after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to take my order, I walked to the cash register and waited for someone to arrive. I ended up getting one of their signature meals for the evening and that was that. Since it was close to 10pm that evening, the music was winding down. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. It came in a takeout container with a plastic bag. I would have gotten something at Boston, Logan International Airport, but it was after 8 PM when I arrived and nothing in the terminal was open for me. With that said, I was happy that the Lakeside Tavern was open for anybody and everybody who was wanting to be there. For lunch, dinner, or just hang out and listen to live music with adult beverages. For me, though, I just need dinner after a long day of travel to Boston from Honolulu. I was glad that they were until 10 PM, otherwise I would have took an Uber to see what was around at the time near the hotel that serve food. The overall experience at the lakeside Tavern here in Wakefield, Massachusetts was typically OK, although I was starving and wanted quicker service that night. While the service was very slow, it was nice to partake in the live music that night. The ambiance was chill and friendly. The service was friendly and welcoming too. For the most part though, the experience here was pretty good and most likely will come back again get my troubles permit me to do so. I'll try to get here as quick as I can, but then again their travel is normally the same as it was 10 years ago. The restaurant itself was very clean, although it was dark enough to wear I can't see much. I just was glad that this restaurant at the hotel I was staying at for the night was open and grateful that they were still serving food while I was there. If you decide to stay at this hotel, consider dining in the Lakeside tavern because it is basically on property. You don't need to go elsewhere for your meals if you don't need to. If you're lazy like me, this restaurant is your best bet if you're staying at the hotel. Definitely recommended if you are one of those people who just don't wanna leave the hotel for some reason if you're staying here at the Lakeside inn in Wakefield Massachusetts. The Lakeside Tavern is located inside the Lakeside Inn in Wakefield, Massachusetts. As soon as you enter the lobby, the entrance to the restaurant is on your left. Can't miss it. It is physically located at 595 North Avenue in Wakefield. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a generous and huge parking lot for anybody and everybody who wishes to come here to stay or dine. Or both. Please share the parking spaces with a few other commercial retailers in the vicinity. There is a bank nearby, if you need cash. There is actually public transportation service to and from the hotel into Boston. I did not know this until my most recent trip here and decided to save a little bit of money and ride the local bus service into downtown Boston from Wakefield. It was pretty cool. Don't recommend it if you are traveling in the evening and don't know where you are if you are a tourist. So yes, there is public transportation options to and from the hotel, and they will depend on your original destination, whether it is the Amtrak station or Boston Logan international airport in Boston. And with that said, they have a limited menu, so be prepared for anything they have. The prices here were decent for any restaurant in the area. But if you're desperate and hungry, it's kind of worth it, especially when you're staying at the hotel for the night and you're starving. Which is what my situation was at the time. It was a quick stop for dinner that ended up being something other than quick. But if you like the loud live music to decompress after a nice day of traveling or a hard day at the office, consider coming to the lakeside Tavern for a good meal and to decompress. I'm sure they have alcohol service here, but I did not want to drink so late at night. 3.5 stars for the overall experience, mostly for the slower than normal service. But it is pretty good 5.0 stars for the location, because I was staying here. Support local! C+

Here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: It's a bit of a dive bar and there's nothing wrong with that at all. There's lots of seemingly random swag that covered the dark wooden/brick walls of the open floorplan style restaurant. There are lots of TVs and this place just gives off nice sports bar vibes! Service: Ron the bartender/owner himself was taking care of the entire restaurant so he was killing it! He still was quick, efficient, did things with a smile and still made time to chat! Food: I'm here for the wings and I was able to try out 4 flavors! There are 14 sauces to choose from, but I only had enough room for 4. Lol. First up were the Cinnamon Chipotle Dry Rub. They were a decent size, super juicy, crispy, cooked perfectly. The seasoning was a bit on the salty side and I didn't get a whole lot of cinnamon, but it was there to cut the sauce and give it a extra layer of flavor. Next up was the Honey Honey which had great sauce coverage. They gave me a bit of a grilled/caramelized feel. These had a good kick to them and the honey was blended in nicely. Next up were the Roasted Garlic & Aji! These had a more traditional flavor profile that reminded me of your favorite straight-up roasted chicken. Very class and very good. Lastly, was the hottest sauce on the menu, Chernobyl. These were a BRIGHT RED like a poison dart frog warning you not to eat it. Lol. It didn't smell too intimidating, but Ron did say it was a ghost pepper based wing. Upon tasting them, there was an immediate sensation of heat. Good, pepper-rich sweetness up front. These were very good, but not as spicy as I had predicted, which is totally okay! Value: You get 6 wings for $11.00. A little on the pricey side, but it's Boston, sort-of downtown, but it's okay! It's not bad at all and the food was totally worth it. I loved this place and I'm so happy I finally found a good wing spot here in the Cambridge area. I'll surely try some more flavors and other things from their menu!
