I like the food. Prices are fair (except for the wine). Be aware that when the server asks if you would like a condiment, such as a very small cup of shredded cheese on your potato, there will be a surprise upcharge. No big deal. Texas Roadhouse always brings fond childhood memories of going out with my friends and parents for special occasions. I believe it was a different location, but it felt good to hit up the one in Danvers again. The inside is already decorated for Christmas in November, though I'm told it's a year round thing at this one? Christmas in November is far too early if you ask me but I digress. The environment otherwise stacks up to the feeling of being, well, in Texas. Most of the interior is made of wood and contains several hints of the South with memorabilia on the walls. Our waiter, Tommy, was a joy. Very nice kid and we've had him before. He was quick, attentive, and happy to help and give us the rundown on any deals going on. From ordering with Tommy to receiving the food had to be 20 minutes or less even during peak busy hours on a Friday night! We started with some boneless buffalo wings for an app and their sauce for it is unique and a tad sweet and spicy at the same time- very nice. My partner got the prime rib and I ordered the country fried chicken (I believe is what it was called, but we all know what fried chicken topped with gravy is). Both were delicious and have that unique flavor that I feel only a steakhouse or breakfast place could give you. Service here has always been fast and friendly. my gripe is the food. they are now serving steaks that are beef scraps glued together with lots of fat and gristle. They'll likely deny it, but I see and taste the difference from my pre and post COVID dining experiences here. most chain restaurants have resorted to serving these "fake" steaks. I'm a regular to this location, being mine and my grandchildren's favorite local restaurant. Our server this evening, Nick (Spanos) was wonderful, very attentive and accommodating. Unfortunately, a thunderstorm rolled in just after we placed our orders so we asked to take our meals to go. Being that I'd had as issue with a previous to go order at this location, when our (to go) meals were brought to us I immediately checked my meal. As I feared, instead of a 'dinner sized' entree of caesar salad with grilled chicken, the salad was not an entree size...even less than the size of a side salad. also there was very little chicken, about 1/2 a chicken breast. (almost $16 for less than a side salad). I was very disappointed and brought it to two of the managers' attention as I was leaving, both of whom did offer to redo my salad. Unfortunately , I was in a rush and had to get home asap. Texas Roadhouse is a wonderful local restaurant, one of our family's favorites. But skimping on portions of to go entrees seems to be routine. (To ensure I had a full, entree sized meal, I should have had my meal delivered to our table and then packed it up myself.) read more

To be honest, the first thing I think of when I think "Texas roadhouse" is steak. Like everyone else that attends Texas roadhouse for a nice tasty dinner, I expect my food and steak especially to be done the right way. I go to pick my food up at the window and the customer service was subpar and wasn't really on the level it should be. Anyways that's beyond the point as the real problem was my steak tip salad. I'm going to jump straight to the point here and say that my steak was dry, plain and just overall a limp steak, I selected no onions, tomatoes and bleu cheese on my salad because god I hate bleu cheese! And guess what... I see all 3 of those on my steak. My day was ruined. From now on I expect roadhouse to get my order right. This was truly disappointing. read more

Our waitress was very sweet and was quick to get me something that was missing from my order. Only downside really was the POTATOES. We both got baked potatoes with our meals and these babies were ROCKS. It was pretty disappointing since I love their potatoes normally and look forward to a loaded one when I go. Food was good but our server was terrible. There were four of us and not one time did anyone clear our plates. Stacked in the middle of our table while numerous people just walking by. Not one time did the server ask us if we wanted a refill. Offered my daughter a booster. We asked for pepper twice but never saw it. It wasn't busy at all. The manager even came over asked us how everything was with the huge pile of plates stacked in the middle and he just left it there. Service was excellent, they are very nice. But first thing I noticed when I walked in, I saw the guy grilling steaks playing on his phone. Not a good sign. We got the Salmon and the steak. The salmon was under-seasoned and fishy tasting and came with someone's eye lash on it. The steak was overcooked even though we ordered medium well. When it came for sides, we had Mac and cheese, house salad, sweet corn, and steak fries. Mac and cheese was similar to microwave Kraft Mac and Cheese. The food is always good and I've never had a problem with the servers however the big man (and I mean quite literally) who is the manager is so rude, fatphobic which is ironic, and has such an attitude. Went here with my wife yesterday. Gabby was our waitress and was very pleasant. Food on the other hand not so great. Mostly everything was bland. We got boneless buffalo wings. Not the least bit spicy. My wife who didn't like spicy wasn't bothered by the spice either. Ordered the hamburger. Came out medium just as I ordered. It needed salt and pepper badly so much that I needed to put my own on. I got cheese fries 5 of them which I was shocked with because I was expecting more. They were also very greasy. My wife got the bbq chicken which was drenched in bbq but had not flavor at all. Her vegetables were so crunchy they because they were not cooked/borderline raw. Her mashed potatoes were very chunky and not mashed. I did see a lot of what looked like managers going to random tables no one ever came to visit us (Side note) I over heard the service manager say to a new customer if you come back. The word should be changed to when you come back so customers feel welcome to return. Dining experience was ok at best. Place is very busy but while I know speed needs to be a thing in a restaurant to turn tables, quality also needs to be a priority especially if you want customers to return. read more

This place came highly recommended by a coworker. When you walk in, it's a fun ambiance, with music and lots of southern decor. My original waiter was really sweet and he was very attentive. I ordered the rib eye steak 8 oz with a side of sweet potato and steak fries. I was rather impressed with the flavors! The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because at the end of the night, our waiter swapped and this young man with a tattoo on his right arm (I believe) gave us an awful experience. He kept pressuring us to leave, back and forth. Gave us the check without us asking, and we still wanted to order a few more drinks. He huffed and puffed through our added orders and then 30 minutes before closing asked us if we can wrap it up because he apparently couldn't leave unless we did and we were his last table. Keep in mind, there were so many people at the bar and over 8 tables worth of people in other sections of the restaurant. My daughter and I were in the plaza doing some errands. Instead of Panera (our go to spot) we decided to split something else at Texas Roadhouse. Our server,Bobby came over I gave him our drink order and also asked if he could bring me paper napkins, I do not like the cloth ones that he placed on the table. We picked boneless wings(plain), potato skins, mozzarella sticks. I asked for the sauce options. He got annoyed he told me BC,ranch, Honey mustard. I chose ranch and BC. He read the order back to me, boneless buffalo wings and honey mustard. I corrected him and he got annoyed some more. The order came out (see photo below) I asked if these were the boneless wings? He said with an attitude "ya they are why?" I did they don't look like chicken or the pic menu. He said aggressively "so what do you wnat,huh?" After my daughter raved about her visit to the Nashua, Texas roadhouse, we thought we would bring the family. My daughter and wife's meals were good and my son and I each ordered a full slab of ribs. They each came with a smaller section of ribs and a larger section. My first slab, the small one was excellent. My son told me his ribs (the larger slab) was dry and not very good. I soon dug into my larger slab to find it was dry (overcooked). My son's second slab was very good. It seems as though they split a well cooked slab with an overcooked slab. Chain restaurants seem to continuously be going by the wayside, quality getting worse and worse and business continuing to drown (ultimately causing closures). Texas Roadhouse is one chain that is *ALWAYS* extremely busy, always has great service, and nearly always has great food. My favorite thing here, by far, is the bread and cinnamon butter. In the past I have placed numerous orders of simply bread and butter. Service here was just as expected... very prompt, fast, and accurate. The restaurant was cleaned and appeared very well run. I witnessed a manager coming around to numerous tables and making sure everything was correct. Food came out fast and as expected. No complaints by any means. Came here to celebrate graduation from my scuba diving certification course. Our server was Nicole L, she was awesome! Very attentive, polite, and a great conversationalist. Food was cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner. They even made an announcement to let the restaurant know I was there celebrating my Scuba cert! (Shoutout to Kristen for that announcement!) Definitely recommend the rattlesnake bites (don't worry, I don't think they're actually made from snakes).
