Not only was the cost much lower, but we were told that several of the repairs Stan's claimed were needed weren't necessary at all. In other words, they tried to scare us with "safety" language in order to sell work we didn't need -- and at an inflated price. This left us feeling misled and taken advantage of. Car repairs are stressful enough without being manipulated by fear.
