My kids took me here to eat lunch buffet on a Monday. We were surprised by how busy the buffet was even on weekdays. The buffet is so spacious with so many rows of buffet food trays. Workers were frequently cleaning the buffet area and refilling the food so it was hot and fresh. Our favorite were the sautéed snow peas and mixed clam wood-ear salad from the sushi bar. We ended up coming back another day because we liked it so much compared to another buffet we tried in the area. This day the make your own Mongolian grill station was open and the young man cooking the food at the station did a fantastic job of cooking my vegetables and shrimps just right so that everything is so snappy/springy and plump. My kids especially loved the ice cream freezers. Parking was easy. Weekday lunch prices (11am-4pm): $14 per adult, $13 for senior 62+ Weekday dinner prices (4pm-close): $18 per adult, $17 for senior 62+ Sat & Sun $20 all day dinner price.

I've really only been to a couple of chinese buffets in my life, but this one was one of cleanest ones I've been to. They're pretty quick with it and they do have a leftover charge for excessive waste. (note the excessive part) the sushi is definitely not on par with like a yama, but its edible. i'm honestly not sure where they get their fish from, but it just barely passes the acceptable to eat mark. some key food items i liked where the pepper beef, green beans, cheesy broccoli. the pickles were actually my favourite, very easy to eat, and very well done. the hibachi was good too, it was my first time having it. I think the pork and the veggies part was the best. they also had a spicy sauce... and it was very spicy. lastly for the fruit, i liked the oranges the best, and the mandarin oranges the least. it had a bit of an artificial taste. oh also forgot the hot and sour soup was bad. probably would not come back again, but its a good option for people who like chinese buffets.

Yum! We were starving after a long day of moving and this place hit the spot. Host and server were quick and friendly. Hibachi cook was also efficient. Salad ingredients were very fresh, and they had an extensive dessert selection. Beautiful decorations. Great for families. We'll be back!

While in the Fort Myers area, I became hungry, I saw the sign, Buffet City. Said to myself, "Let's try it." And wow, I was not disappointed. This has got to be the largest buffet in the local area. I came in at the tail end of the lunch rush at approximately 1330 hours. Not too busy at all, still the selection was as far as the eye can see , the food hot and fresh. I've been to a few buffets in the Naples & Fort Myers area. Buffet City, by far, has them all beat. #Foodie #BuffetLover #Naples #FortMyers

All I could get out of them. No wonder they make you pay ahead!! Never there or anywhere else will I pay before I get what I paid for!

The worst experience at a restaurant, ever! Horrible food, horrible service, horrible communication, horrible management. Made a reservation for my 10yr old daughter's birthday. Spoke to young man who sounded like a Floridian. I very clearly stated that I was making the reservation because I have 20 people, and family coming in from out of town. I needed to make sure that the tables were set up and ready to go so we can sit together and if possible decorating ahead of time. So we went over this and mentioned in general they don't sit anyone until the entire party is there. But we cleared that up and he agreed there would be no problems seating everyone as they came, especially since I had family driving into town. So...... They WOULD NOT SEAT MY FAMILY that arrived before me. Finally after most of the group got there they sat us,,.AT 4 DIFFERENT TABLES. I didn't even get to start my salad and finish saying hi to every and she was asking me to pay. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING!!! Inedible! for that many options ( this, and the pretty tree and pond, is why my daughter requested it) you would think I could find something other than a salad I could eat. Everything tasted like, in all seriousness, they have a rodent problem. They were using dirty dishes, The seafood bar does not meet food regulations. That will be my next call. Especially after how I was treated. I said well maybe it's just me. Nope. My entire family did not like anything. Some thought the desert bar was ok. My 2 sisters said the only thing they will eat there is the hibachi grill. Had to ask for the manager 3 times and the server didn't speak English barely so that was frustration enough. 2 different women came to my table. No apologies for the table set up No apologies for the food and how horrible it was. Told them I ate a salad but once I started eating my current plate and ate 2 shrimp and bite of steak....could not eat anymore. So bad I couldn't eat anything at my daughter all you can buffet,' So bad this fat and broke chick couldn't eat. And because my waitress was so pushy, my whole family got to hear the ear full No negotiations. Ummm... not negotiating. You ruined my family get together in multiple ways. I just wanted to even be able to eat what I paid for. I want my money back. Nope, sorry you ate a salad. I didn't stop eating because I was full. That's different. I would be concerned about losing 20 customers, my reputation, and food quality . She seemed to not care or she hears it a lot that her food is terrible. J don't sayI stopped eating because your food tastes like dirt and mouse shit. She was rude and dismissive. Not adjusting one thing onmy bill. Not apologizing for the food, or the experience, the tables... nothing. The end of the back of forth was me wondering why she wouldn't want to help out one customer one time, that just brought you in 20 customers. Instead of losing all of forever. Front desk refused to give me the owners info. Not going back. Ever. I'm eating my microwave burrito at home and it tastes better.

Sushi Raw tuna for sushi and sashimi sitting out for God knows how long and not a fridge in sight

The food is okay so far i havent found another buffet i liked as much as i liked this one. Its a good thing i only ever eat the cooked sushi because seeing this today kind of scared me, with all the risks that come with eating raw fish, letting it sit out and lose temp like this is literally a stomach virus waiting to happen. The workers are always walking around which is a plus so there will always be someone there to help. Now all the other food is kept hot and the salad bar is good, only complaint is that the raw fish is just sitting there. Its a family establishment so kids are welcome and i also think service animal are welcomed. Its warm and cozy in there the lights are pretty dim so the vibes are cool. If youre planning on going on the weekend go early because it fills up really fast but i just wished time temperature control was being taken mire seriously especially with something that you see as you walk in there.

Are there peal and eat shrimp out at lunch?

Are the crawfish spicy boiled or are they cold on ice with no flavor?

They are on a hot steam table with peppers and pieces of corn on the cob. Not too spicy in my opinion unless you get some of the peppers. 🌶️

Do they still have the full buffet with the Covid stuff?

    Yes,full buffet works.

There were plenty of bbq options including butter shrimp, bulgogi, pork belly and short ribs. I loved it all! You can also ask the server for white rice and they will bring it to your table. The hot pot options were great as well. I enjoyed the rolled fatty beef, the crabs, and the many options that were going around on the conveyer belt. They had a variety of broth options. My partner loved the spicy option. We will definitely be back!

We finished our shopping, got in the car, read a few reviews for Jing Du and said 'Let's give it a try.' Glad we did. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has both booths and tables. The adult Lunch Buffet is $14.99 and runs from 11:00 to 3:45. As with so many of the oriental buffets, we had to walk around and get familiar with what was offered before focusing on particulars. There is an Hibachi grill where you can assemble your ingredients and Mr. Hibachi will cook it for you. The sushi bar is impressive. I am not a real sushi person so I'm not sure if it's all legit, but the few pieces I took tasted very good. I found it helpful to have signs above the offerings to get an idea of what was there. All of the stations are just loaded with foods. I happen to be a Hot and Sour Soup fan and I found their soup to be one of the best I have ever had. Really good. I also found the fish to be quite tasty. A mild, flaky whitefish, maybe tilapia or basa, in a broth with light soy sauce and something else. I enjoyed this fish very much. The peel and eat cold shrimp were good, but the cocktail sauce was the best. Nice strong horseradish kicked up the shrimp. One notable item was the pork egg rolls. Most buffets have these small rolls with a few shreds of veggies and not much flavor. These gems actually had pork and veggies in them and were delicious. We tried many items and most everything was good. They have a few dessert items and there is a freezer case with a variety of ice cream. We will definitely go back and bring our daughter who is sushi person so she can evaluate it. The Dinner Buffet is $18.99 and includes snow crab legs. This restaurant is all you can eat, but please eat all you take and not waste food.

This place needs to be shut down and overhauled, starting with the greasy, stained carpet. I've always enjoyed Golden Corral's salad bar. Not here. With just iceberg and romaine lettuce -- where are the field greens and spinach?! -- other ingredients (carrots, pepperoncini, beets et al) appear to have been sitting since last Christmas. The fish chowder may have been too ... but I ate it. And actually sort of liked it. I'm not too discriminating when it comes to fried chicken. After two bites, I had enough. My slice of turkey was dry and flavorless. Other than mac and cheese, every side and vegetable I tasted was lacking. (I noticed that people enjoyed the steak grilled to specs, but as I didn't try it, I can't comment.) So my dinner tonight consisted of conceivably old fish chowder (two bowls!), mac and cheese, olives, jalapeno muffins, the icing off tasteless carrot cake and a ramekin of soft serve topped with caramel.
