So fun and great service always changing out dirty grills and coming around for refills on drinks! Finish off with some cakes watermelon and an ice cream absolutely no complains I think our favorite was the short ribs and the sirloin steak yumm also loved the salmon sashimi option and the sauce bar. First off, they are flexible in terms of not everyone at the table has to get the same choice. If one person only wants hot pot, while everyone else wants both, that's fine. Pricing is decent and competitive. Worth the price tag. We are typically hot pot people but I must say with this restaurant, I think I favored the KBBQ more. There were plenty of bbq options including butter shrimp, bulgogi, pork belly and short ribs. I loved it all! You can also ask the server for white rice and they will bring it to your table. The hot pot options were great as well. I enjoyed the rolled fatty beef, the crabs, and the many options that were going around on the conveyer belt. They had a variety of broth options. There are about 20 tables opened, I walked in and the host asked the group before me how many people in the group then took them to the table. He walked back and asked the two of us then told us we have to wait 15-20 minutes and have to scan the QR code to reserve the table while the whole restaurant is half empty. If this is the way you want to treat your customers ??? I have been to the restaurant multiple times with a big group and wasn't treated like this. This time there were only two of us. The host refused to take our reservation. I am there already why do I have to scan a QR code to reserve a table? Isn't that his job??? Years ago in NY, a boyfriend from Kashmir turned me on to Indian food. My initial experience with pho was with another guy I dated who lived in Vietnam. For newbies like me: choose your broth -- in this restaurant it's one-to-a-customer -- set the temperature control to keep the soup hot, go to the buffet table and select what you'd like to cook in your pot or on the grill. (Most people pay the extra $4 to enjoy both soup and bbq -- $35.99 total.) With no point of comparison, I was pleased with "Hot Pot & BBQ." I took Gerald's advice and ordered a mild broth -- the "original" -- which I doctored up. There are so many things to try: all different fish, slices of beef, chicken, lamb, pork ... the list goes on. (Since my hands were full I neglected to take photos!) There's a wide range of sauce but no condiment containers to separate one from another, leading to a potentially muddled combination. The conveyer belt abutting the tables is interesting. Looks like a stationary surface but hidden mechanisms move ramekins of vegetables, noodles and other accoutrements throughout the dining room. The restaurant is large and Saturday evening, busy. Reservations not accepted, but that shouldn't stop you. If you have to wait, it likely won't be long since there's frequent turnover. And don't worry. I've lived down the street for 3 years and have always wanted to go here but never made it....until last night! The food is incredible and so affordable. Mavis our server was awesome, attentive, sweet, and took the time to explain the process! The conveyor belt of veggies and noodles is maybe the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! You just grab what you want. The meat and seafood is self serve. I also really enjoyed the sauce station. My boyfriend and I were between here and Embers. We made the right choice. The waitress, Ms. Mavis was the highlight of our experience. She explain and showed us how to get our food and make it. She was on it too service wise. She's so friendly. When I come back I'm requesting her. This place is a 4.5/5 The food was tasty as hell. I've gone to Korean BBQ before but this one takes the hat. I wish they had more broth choices like Miso and that the bowls were bigger. I wish some of the meat was seasoned a bit more, like the steak, but the bulgogi was delicious. Chicken was stellar. We like hot pot, and our friends took us here, all you can eat, hotpot alone is expensive but you add $4 more you get combine Korean bbq with hotpot... all you can eat. Plenty of meats, seafood, dumplings for hotpot and Korean bbq. They offer other dishes of veggies too. Includes variety of deserts, cakes, pudding, ice cream, jello. They have a large selection of tasty meats, seafood, etc served at a buffet. You choose what you want, bring it to your table, and cook it yourself, either on the grill or in the soup. Went again recently for my birthday. I had the hot pot and bbq, everything was delicious! The marinated bulgogi beef for the grill is so good. My husband and I can't get enough of it. We even added peppers and onions on the grill to cook with the sauce. You can get extra bulgogi sauce at the sauce bar. The server puts the grill on high, unless you want to eat right away, ask them to put the grill on medium/medium low. This way everything slow cooks and tastes even better. I believe in cooking slow and steady. I love the baby scallops, crawfish, calamari, and octopus in the hotpot. So good. If you understand soft/medium boiled eggs with noodles, go for it! They have raw eggs you can cook in your soup. It was delicious with noodles. I cooked my egg on high for 5 minutes. It was medium almost hard. Next time I'm trying 4:30 minutes. Oh and our server and the people assigned to help her, sweet as sugar! They made the experience icing on the cake! ... or maybe the saki is talking. read more

Hot Pot is one of the traditional Chinese dining methods where a large pot of boiling broth is situated in the middle of a round table with many plates of lamb, beef brisket, pork, chicken, shrimp, clam, fishes, crabs, scallop with a mix of vegetables, noodle and vermicelli. At the end, you crack an egg and put into broth. It is a very hearty meal, and it is a popular way of dining especially in the winter months. Many large hot pots are subdivided into two sections, with one plain and one spicy broth. Many sauces are prepared depending on the ingredients used. We had many happy experiences with homemade hot pot and at hot pot restaurants. Hot Pot and BBQ opened about two months ago. We waited a few weeks for the staff to work out their routine since this is the first Hot Pot restaurant in Fort Myers/Naples/Cape Coral area. Please note that there no reservation available and it is on first come first serve basis. There is number of chairs available as part of waiting area inside the front windows. In this Hot Pot restaurant, the tables are rectangular with four individual pots and a communal BBQ in the middle. I found the table is little tight if you consume wine or beer or soft drink with your meal. Over the BBQ pit, a large stainless-steel hood with sprinkle installed for safety reason. The temperature is controlled individually by pressing the button to your desired level. We ordered four different soups out of seven soups, the Original Soup, Pork Bone Soup, Herbal Soup and Tom Yum. The Herbal Soup has a few Chinese Red dates, piece of dang gui, and goji berries. They were all tasty! We loaded our plates with curl of sliced lamb, short ribs, steak, Bulgogi, beef brisket, shrimps, lobster balls, beef balls, fish cakes, tripes, fish, mussel, clam, crawfish, scallop, Tofu and a selection of vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, carrot, Udon, vermicelli and other items on the conveyor belt. We grilled and boiled our seafood and meat. There are over 20+ sauces you can select from the sauce counter to suit your taste! On the grilled meat, my favorite is the marinated short ribs. As a finale, I have a Snow Fungus Sweet soup and a small cup of strawberry ice cream to round out my meal. Our server, Steven, provided excellent service and constant checking on us to ensure we have what we need. 3 things about this place: 1. Hot pot place has finally made its way to Ft. Myers area and been waiting a long time for an hot pot place to open up in the area. Not only just hot pot, but BBQ where you can grill next to your hot pot for just a few bucks more. 2. Vegetarians, meat lovers, seafood lovers can all enjoy the different types of veggies all the way to seafood and sauces. Chose the Beef bone soup and spicy soup for the broth and had the BBQ to go along with it. One thing I wish this place had is where you can try 2 different types of the broth for $1 more. Other hot pot places have this and I wish this place had it as well. 3. Vegetables were fresh, meats were fresh, and seafoods were definitely fresh. Employees are in still training since it's a new place but they were friendly and kept on checking to see if we needed anything. I did not know there is a turn off button right under your elbows on the table. Therefore I burned my tongue a little and we all know that isn't much fun! No bak Choi, no wood ear , no water cress, not all mushrooms; basically just lettuce. Broccoli and some mushrooms on the conveyer belt. Very limited options to add to the broth. went here as a four person group for my brother's birthday. We all love Korean barbecue and have been too many different Korean barbecue restaurants. I have never been to one that was a buffet style. I thought maybe the quality of the food would not be as good as other places but honestly, this hasn't been one of my favorite Korean barbecue restaurants so far the beef will go is one of the best flavors we have tasted. The quality of the meat was really good and tasty. The Korean barbecue and hot pot combo is an excellent price especially compared to a lot of the other Korean barbecue places, though we don't have many in southwest Florida this is honestly a hidden gem.
